Not a good case by any measure.......2004-06-17
This case gets in the way of using your Palm Tungsten T. First, it holds the T in with a jerry-rigging of tight elastic bands and metal bars. Look closely at the picture and you'll get the idea: Across the top of the T and at the waist, above the buttons and below the 320x320 screen (above the writing area, when the T is open), those black lines are the elastic band that runs around the entire screen area, providing the tension to hold it in. On the left and right sides of the screen, what you see are metal bars that provide the strength to hold the T down and to keep it straight. So you actually have about a quarter-inch of frame above the surface of the T's body. What's this do? Well, if you need to scroll the screen, you'll find that now you have to put your stylus into a hole, STRAIGHT into it, not on a comfortable angle, to touch the screen and grab the scroll bar.
The case actually has three pieces, counting the belt clip. The T is held by a piece that slips into an outer piece (the "wallet"), and this inner piece is held to the outer by a snap behind the T. So it won't sit flat on a desk, for example. Nor will you be able to just open up the case and write in or view the T: The case will keep flopping forward; you'll have to expend energy holding it open by peeling it backward and holding it tight while you use the T.
It's a bad, bad design. It's really tough to do a decent case for a T, T2, or T3, because of the expanding design; they all have to contend with that design. I haven't found one that really works yet. I'd just as soon get a couple shims that would keep it open permanently, now that I have had the machine for a week or so. Whatever the reason, though, this case is not a good solution.

Middle of the Road Amp.......2007-07-25
This amp is driving 4 Infinity Infinity Kappa 682.7CF speakers. The head unit is a kenwood KFC-332. At low to mid volume sound is crisp and clean. However, from 80% volume and up the sound quality deteriorates. The vehicle in which the system was installed was recently in a parade and after an hour of the system at 80% power, the amp overheated and shut down. Noted problems could be due to speakers drawing 2oms, but the amp advertizes to be able to handle it.
