Frequently people will replace the entire cordless phone system instead of replacing the battery because they don't realize. This is all that's needed and a lot less expensive!
Battery Design Fragile.......2007-07-12
While I have appreciated the mobility of the LKA10 Headset, the delicate plastic hinges that attach the battery to the headset dialing box are very fragile if the unit slips from your clothing and falls or is bumped. A 3' tumble from my desk that doesn't harm my mobile phone has completely shattered this integral connection piece making the unit unusable until I purchased another replacement battery unit. So far I've bought three over a two year period - well before any of the batteries showed any sign of wearing down. To me this is a hidden cost due to a design flaw that reduces the LKA10 Cordless Headset's value significantly for me.

Recently ordered this to give as a Christmas gift, so not sure how well it works --
however,
if you are ordering from Amazon, a word of caution: it arrived in a box with one small blow up bubble bag as its only padding, it was actually loose in the box where it was probably banged around. The only padding was the thin case the lens comes in. Horrible job of packaging, they treat it like its a textbook or something. This needed to be packaged with styrofoam inserts at the least! I was really shocked to find it so carelessly packaged - but to top it off, I also purchased a Tiffen lens and they had put it in the box outside of its packaging case! No joke here. I inspected it really carefully for scratches and don't ask me how it was not scratched, but it wasn't. This is my first complaint with Amazon, but I realize they are not the place to buy high ticket items. Their packaging is really "care-less". Once the gift is opened and the lens is tried out, we will see if it is damaged or not, no way to tell at this point.
Just a warning - this is not the place to order it - get it from a retailer instead, who takes care in packaging.

I've returned 2 Canon 10-22mm's and decided to give up on it. I needed a wide angle for landscape/cityscape shots so I decided to give this 10-20mm a shot. My copy is perfectly sharp, and unlike Canon's 10-22, this comes with a beautiful case AND a hood....at no extra charge!!
If you're looking for a ultra wide angle for your crop body, look no further. It's a far better bang for the buck compared to Canon's ultra wide.
My first non-Canon lens...impressive.......2007-11-25
This lens is 2 things: wide and sharp! The wide angle is incredible, even on a cropped body like my 40D. The images are super sharp, especially when you get around f/8 or f/11. Colors are beautiful, contrast is great, and then lens is built like a tank. I love the outer coating this lens has. It feels very rugged. The zoom and the focus are smooth and controlled. The included petal hood works great. For my first non-Canon lens, I am thrilled!
Best Value Ultra Wide Angle Lens.......2007-11-20
This lens has excellent build quality, which is expected for a Sigma EX lens. The USM motor makes auto focus fast and quiet. The image is very sharp. The only thing that prevents me from giving it five stars is its pronounced distortion at the 10-12mm range. So this lens is great for landscape but not for architectures.
Well worth the money........2007-11-02
I'm not a professional photographer, but I know what I like. It was a tossup between the Sigma and the Canon 10-22mm lens. I chose the Sigma because of the price. There are hundreds of dollars in price difference between the two, but the reviews I've read rate them the same. I'm pleased the results. It has convinced me to try other Sigma lens.

The HL1 handset lifter is used with the CA20 DECT adapter to provide automatic control of the telephone hook switch when a user receives a call remotely from their desk. When CA20 is used with the lifter unit, the user is alerted to an incoming call either by an audible tone in the headset or by a ringing tone from the remote pack. A small microphone, attached close to the ringer on the phone, picks up the ringing signal and a notification signal is transmitted to the remote pack. When this occurs, pressing the activation button on the remote pack takes the phone off hook and the call can be taken through the headset. On completion of the call, the same button is pressed again to return the handset to the on-hook state. The mechanical arm is adjustable to suit most telephone handset styles.

I am not as pleased with this product as I thought I would be. Although the lifter does lift the receiver, when I click the headset to answer, it always has a dial tone. Which defeats my purpose for purchase. I expected the lifter to open the line of the incoming call. I have 6 numbers on my phone and I stll have to physically depress the call-in line to answer it.
