Make Hands-Free Calls
The nüvi 360 integrates wireless technology with a microphone and speaker that lets you make hands-free mobile phone calls using your compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone. Simply dial numbers with the nüvi's touch screen keypad to place a call, and to answer calls, just tap the screen and speak directly into its built-in microphone.
In addition, you can easily look-up and dial numbers from your personalized phone book or from your phone's call history log. Don't know the phone number for your destination? Simply find and dial it from nüvi's database of more than six million points of interest -- including hotels, restaurants, stores, and attractions.
Navigation and Entertainment with Ease
For starters, the nüvi 360 includes a high-sensitivity integrated GPS receiver that offers exceptional performance and reception. The unit's flip-up antenna includes an MCX-type connector for optional external GPS antenna connection. Preloaded software features maps of Europe or North America, and it includes automatic routing, 2D or 3D map perspective, turn-by-turn voice directions that speak street names, and a fingertip touch screen interface -- making navigation as easy as it gets.
But navigation is just the beginning. Like the nüvi 350, the nüvi 360 also includes many entertainment and travel tools including an MP3 player, audio book player, JPEG picture viewer, travel alarm, and currency converters.
The nüvi 360 features a bright, 2.8 x 2.1-inch TFT display with white backlight for easy readability. At 3.87 x 2.91 x 0.87-inches (WxHxD) and just 5.1 ounces, the unit is small enough to be placed on the dashboard with the included suction mount, or into your pocket for easy transportability. The unit also features Garmin Lock -- an advanced anti-theft feature that disables the unit from performing any functions until you type in a specific four-digit PIN or take the unit to a predetermined location. The Nuvi 360 is as close to perfect as any product I have ever bought. It has guided me to my destination without fail many times since I acquired it. Sometimes, it takes me on an unexpected route to a known destination that proves to be quicker -- go figure!! My only beef is the alphabetic keyboard -- I would greatly appreciate the option of selecting a QWERTY keyboard.

I purchased this item for my husband for Christmas. I did about 10 hours of research on the different brands and definitely chose the right one. My husband said this is the best present he ever received. We took it on the plane with us and it was really cool to see our speed, altitude, and where we were while flying. Amazon (TigerDirect) also had the best price to be found.

Better than expected. Opened the box and was all ready to go. Very easy to navigate. I am usually challenged by todays electronics but this was not the case with the Garmin. I can't imagine myself ever getting lost again. I love the bluetooth phone hook up too. Works very well. I also saved between $50 and $80 by using Amazon. Very happy about that.

The unit is great! Much faster than the older Garmin models in locating a signal and re-routing. The bluetooth makes it possible to use your phone without a headset. The phone book also is easily transferred to the unit.

I bought the 360 for my husband for Christmas. We have found that it's extremely easy to use and program. It's very user friendly. The only problem that we have found is that it's not compatable with our Sprint phones. If you're buying it for the Bluetooth option check out Garmin's website first to make sure that it's compatable with your phone. Otherwise it's a great product.

Could Have Been So Much Better!.......2007-12-28
My daughters have been playing this game for around 3 days now. The graphics are poor and rudimentary in design. They still seem to enjoy it however and continue to play it often. Another problem though is that if used for a long while the game seems to... overheat? and it will quit and give a blank blue screen. after it has set for a while and cooled down it will then work again.

I bought this game for my Niece for Christmas. As soon as she opened it she wanted to hook it up and get started. We made her wait until everybody else opened their gifts and as soon as that was done she was busy getting hooked up. She played that game all night and when I called her the next day she was playing it again. It teaches her how to handle money. She is given so much money to buy clothes and do other activities. When I went to check on her Christmas night she was complaining because she wanted a sale before she would buy clothes. She hated spending the price that they wanted for clothes. I'm hoping this game will teach her how to budget and make smart choices with her money.

My daughter requested Dream Life for Christmas, and I was excited to see it on sale for $14.99. I bought it, and am glad we didn't pay full price. The instructions were missing from the box , the graphics are pretty poor, and my 9 year old daughter lost interest in the product fairly quickly. Definitely the kind of toy you forget about after the initial excitement of unwrapping it.

My daughter received this from her brother for Christmas. She has played previous versions at friends' houses and still found this one entertaining.
Pros - The system is easy to set up and use. She was able to begin playing with little to no help. The graphics are improved from previous versions. There is more to do inside the game so she didn't make it through all the options in one sitting.
Cons - I don't think children much older than 9-10 will enjoy this game long term. Children used to gaming interactions (ie Sims) may find the friend and job interaction overly simplistic.

I bought this for my 9 year old niece and she can't seem to get enough of it. She is totally hooked on this game. I read the other review and we did not experience any of the same problems that reviewer was having. The other reviewer, complained that you have to "earn" your Superstar status. Well, hello, that is the challenge of this game. If it came easy how fun would that be. As with everything in life, you generally have to work hard to get what you want & to earn it! That gives this toy it's educational value!

This is a great product. I am a lawyer and a piano teacher and it helps me keep track of my appointments and my students. The wi-fi feature is great - find a spot with free wireless access and you do not need to subscribe to any other service to get internet access. The screen is clear and photos display well. Maneuvering around the functions is easy. I also enjoy the docs-to-go feature, which allows you to create and/or edit word and excel docs, among other things.

So far, I love my TX. I've had palms for a long time so I wasn't expecting a lap top in a tiny package. The screen is excellent, easy to read, bright. Battery life sucks but its easy to recharge and so far I've just plugged it in most nights and I've never come close to running out. E-mail via the web seems to work well. I didn't think that web surfing would work well and I was right but I have been able to look up a few things on Google just to try it out. Given that I got this for under $200 on sale, I'm very pleased. My only other complaint is that graffiti has been changed and no one told me. I'm still having trouble remembering the new strokes after all these years, but I'm getting better. Old palm users beware. Overall though I'd give it 4.5 out of 5.
Works as advertised.......2007-12-31
I ordered this PDA to replace a Tungsten E I've owned for years and needed to upgrade as I go back to school. Paired with a wireless keyboard and with built in WIFI/Bluetooth it enables me to work without lugging around a laptop. I learned by using the "left handed" setting I can lay my T/X sideways in the keyboard cradle for the wide screen and this makes typing easier. The company partnered with Amazon was magnificent-- not only a low price, but it actually shipped the day I ordered it! Not sure what happened but my first mishap was with Documents to Go-- kept resetting the computer. Dataviz told me to download a program they use and it appears to have fixed the issue. Then twice, the battery discharged. Somehow I'd left it on and the auto shutoff somehow did not work. It would not accept a charge, but in a flash of insight, decided to press the reset key and magically it came back on, even though it would not respond to the on/off button; on/off worked after the reset. From that point on I made sure I manually turned it off and since, no episodes. Each device needs to be learned and this one took just a little time. I am extremely pleased with this product and imagine it will be with me for several years until the next major upgrade (WIFI is huge). For now I love it, it logs in without fail into my secure wireless connection at home and open connections elsewhere.

I don't own the 4 GB. I own the 2 GB which identical except for capacity.
My review is for Apple OS X 10.1.2+ users who may want one. SanDisk's website and most sellers, say it is only for Windows. I emailed SanDisk's technical staff. You can use it on OS X 10.1.2+, but you can't use the U3 programs. Incidentally, many PC users neither want nor use U3 either.
You need a PC friend to download the little program from the SanDisk website that deletes U3 on your SanDisk in his USB port. Then, use your Mac's Disk Utility to Erase Free Space, Name and Volume Format in Mac OS Extended (journaled) for full storage capacity. Well worth the effort. The SanDisk is good looking, functional and nearly bulletproof. It's MUCH easier than it sounds. Just go step by step.
I did this and it works beautifully with my iMac G4 running OS X 10.4.11!
If you have a new Intel Mac, you don't even need a PC friend.

Nice product, looking-forward to 8GB from SanDisk. I like the retractable connector, but it is tight-fitting for older USB ports; don't know why. The included software seems like a good idea, and can be deleted. The company needs to do a better job explaining how, because it seems there are some possible problems you could cause yourself. I bought one each of these for the research team, and it makes backup much easier to know they have most of their user files locally stored. I'm traveling between multiple offices and using multiple platforms, and now I just keep everything on the stick and do a tar cvf archive.tar whenever I'm on the main office machine. Nice look, nice feel, very nice!

Coby DVD-224ss Compact DVD PlayerBought 2 of these and neither worked. The 1st one stopped working with a DVD in it and the second stopped working after 3 uses - won't even open. A waste of my money but I guess you get what you pay for.

It's small and a big hit at our house. It plays DVDs and CDs. Both of my kids got one for christmas and they like it!

I bought this player because of its apparent multi-region capability. That feature, unfortunately, is NOT working. I followed all instructions that other fellow customers provided online, tried it on 3 different TV's, all without success! What a huge waste of my time. Coby's customer service is worthless, all you get is a busy signal (I tried for several days). I'm packing it up and sending it back where it belongs.

This is a very compact, very lightweight DVD player. It is very easy to use and very portable. It's a great product for what I paid for it. I bought it because of the price and because of the good reviews that I read. I haven't been disappointed. I would highly recommend this for someone with a tight budget who doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles.

About all I can say is this was bought as a gift for my brother and after charging it for hours it never would show a charge. If you tried to use it it would be dead in less then 10 minutes. So he had to mail it back to jawbone because there doesn't seem to be any way to exchange it with amazon. So now he is waiting on a new one from Jawbone.

Ergonomically flawed........2007-12-30
I bought this from Amazon and have used it for a couple of days so far.
So far, I'm disappointed. I bought this after being highly unsatisfied with the sound quality on the Motorola HS850 and then H700.
On receiving the Jawbone my initial take was: wow, this thing is BIG! If you're expecting a compact headset you shouldn't buy it before checking it out "in person" at your local Be*t Buy or other retailer.
Next: the ear loops it comes with are a bit weird looking but very comfortable once you figure out which one is right for you. Not sure how durable they will be long-term.
Charging jack: why, oh why, doesn't this have a mini-USB charging jack? The headset takes a weird 4-prong plug that is much bigger than it needs to be. What's absurd is that the other end is a USB plug (like that on a USB mouse or PC keyboard) that can be plugged into a PC's USB port or into the supplied mains adapter. So why not use a standard USB cable? Could this be intentional, so that customers need to buy a special cable? I smell a little greed here.
The WORST part: the idiotic rubber earpieces. The headset comes with 4 rubber ear pieces; you pick the one that fits into your ear best. They attach to the headset with a kind of twist-lock mechanism. Problem is, the "lock" part doesn't work. The thing falls off in a heartbeat, leaving you chasing it all over the floor, sidewalk, parking lot, what have you. A massive design defect. Maybe my unit is defective - none of the other reviewers commented on this, but this problem is the reason why I will probably end up returning this headset.
Sound quality is generally good. Not fantastic, but certainly better than my Moto headsets. I have a Moto Razr V3 which may be a less than ideal partner.
Despite the size, the fit is comfortable and it feels like you could wear it for hours without discomfort.

This is the best bluetooth I have owned.I am a truck driver and have tried two other sets.When I saw a fellow driver using the "JawBone" I asked about it and was told it delivered the best quality sound and reception.Yes, it is a little larger then I would want,but if that is needed to get what is promised then that is fine.I WANT IT TO WORK!My wife confirms it when the engine is loud and we talk, she says it is the best so far. Now, after reading some of the other reviews I have to say perfection is almost never attained if ever with such devices. I am a skeptic and I can give this 4 Stars with ease of mind. Now, it is not perfect,but again the best overall that I have used!...thx

Works great out of the box.
I bought this for my daughter who will be attending a high school art school in the fall. Installed easily out of the box. Its not a Waacom pad but I wasn't looking to spend $300 yet. It works well with Photoshop CS3 and also Manga Studio.

I purchased this tablet a few days ago, and it is already on its way back to Amazon if that tells you anything. I was not able to get either of my systems to recognize this tablet. None of the websites listed in the documentation exist according to DNS, so I was not able to contact them for assistance. The documentation is written in broken english that is difficult at best to read and was not helpful resolving my problem.
I'm going to give the wacom BambooBamboo (Small) Pen Tablet with Pen Only a try and see if it works better. I guess if it works at all, that will be better.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. She is very artistic and uses the graffiti application on Facebook - which is what got her started in this format. This product is very easy to use - she had it up and running in minutes and has done some amazing drawings. I would recommend this for first-time users of a graphic tablet. We are very pleased.

Great for beginners and very simple to use. Takes alittle time getting use to from using the mouse then the pen, but you will not be disappointed. GET IT !!!!!!

I bought the PDA instead of the Treo because I didn't want to pay for a data plan as well as a voice plan. I chose the Palm TX with the hard case because it could go online, keep my calendar, lists, memos, and Office documents/sheets.
Overall, it works well. I haven't used the Office stuff much, but the Word works well. The colors are bright on the screen and the different apps are fairly easy to get too. It is a bit of a bummer that you have to go back to the main page/table of contents in order to get to another application.
The hard case works well although it is slippery. Plus, it's hard to get open at first. Remember to push the side with the arrow back a little bit.
I like my purchase and it does make my life easier. I wish it would stay on longer though.

I have owned several palm models. This one has wi-fi and bluetooth. It also has more native memory. The web browser seems to work better than in previous models. The speed is definitely better than the Lifedrive. I do not plan to use it for mp3 files but it is nice that it comes with a standard microphone jack.
