Call Waiting Caller ID includes a 100-station memory (with subscription to local service) that allows names and numbers to be transferred between handsets or moved into the permanent 10-station speed dial. DirectLink two-way radio communication is built into each handset, allowing them to function as an in-home intercom system or baby monitor. Redial any of the last three numbers at the touch of a button, activate three-way calls or just enjoy the 2.4 GHz analog signal transmission.
Each handset includes its own charger; this set includes three handsets. You can transfer incoming calls between the handsets, and make use of the convenient hands-free design by using the included belt clip and built-in headset jack (headsets available separately). Since getting cable phone lines, we do not have the same number of phone jacks in our home and these phones really do work well when plugged into the wall. The only problem I have had is after ordering a second set, I found that the expandable portion for separate purchases does not work correctly. I had a filter on my phone line when I had DSL, so I used that to allow all new sets and receivers to work together, but this negated some of the great features such as knowing when another line is in use. If you are going to buy one set of these phones, I think you will be happy. If you have cable phones and you plan to expand, you may want to rethink about it or add another phone jack before purchasing a second set.

Purchased this set after weeks of research. I was looking for a cordless phone set that didn't have an answering machine but one that worked with my phone service package which already included voice mail. The VM indicator light works on all 3 - handsets & chargers. My fiance's favorite feature is the intercom/directlink feature - using it to talk to my son across the hall. Overall we are very impressed with the quality of these phones. I am proud of my purchase.

Uniden DCT756-3 Expandable Cordless System with Call Waiting/Caller ID and Extra Handset and Charger I had done a lot of reading on different cordless phones. For the price and factures there is no better deal out there. The phones have wonderful range, easy to program, great sound. The two way facture is a blessing in my home, I am disabled and my wife had to have emergency surgery we have no problem finding each other or the kids. I recommend this phone system to anyone who is looking for a great cordless phone set at the best price.

I buy this phone when we were moving to a new house, so I can use extra handset upstaires. I did not try it untill after a month, when I moved to new place I tried it. But the second handset doesn't work. It rings but when you pick-up the phone you will just here horrible loud sounds. I contect the staples, but it was more then a month they said they can't do anything about that. So I contected uniden's customer service. They had a horrible customer survice. When I buy this phone I think this was a good deal, but now I tossed it just in my basement. And may be next time when I clean my basement it's going to be in trash. his phone eeven doesn't deserve 1 star,but I can't give it less then one star. If you are planning to buy phone, just spend little more money and go for panasonic. I am using one for 4 years now, and I buy another one with extra handsets from panasonic, and it's working great.

I was worried these phones might be bad because of the low price but they are great. I use them in a single level home and I've had no problems and no complaints. Considering they cost way less than similar phones I'd recommend these to anyone who doesn't need an answering machine.

The base broke in 6 month, but it's still on the warranty and now is being send to Uniden for repair. On-line RMA request process is very convenient and easy to use.
UPDATE: Uniden replaced the phone (base and headset) in the timely manner. Great customer service

I've had no problem at all with this phone. Great battery life.I love the fact that everything lights up. I just wish it had more or different ring tones. There are about 12 of them and they are mediocre at best. Going to buy another cordless and put this one in my daughter's room.

After many years of using Panasonic phones, we've grown annoyed with their recent functional and styling changes. This Uniden was a test to see what another phone design was like, and it's been a big hit in our house. Good reception, battery life, and ergonomics make it easy to use, and it is a much better phone than the Panasonic it replaced.

I've been through more cordless phones than you could imagine from every different manufacturer, and Uniden makes the best cordless phones. I have a Uniden phone currently and just recently purchased this due to my satisfaction with my other phone. Batteries last a long time (total life span) and are very durable. Excellent system for any rooms without phone jacks as well.

This is one of the best purchases I have made for electronic items. I could not find this phone in my local area and I am glad I did not find it. The Amazon price is awesome for the quality of the phone. This phone has different ringtones, just like a cell phone and lights so bright, you can easily find it in the dark. The kids love this phone! The sound quality is supurb and it works great with Vonage service or regular landline service. The best things is that now that I know how great this phone is, I can expand the system. "Bargain Huntress" is my middle name and this product gets my highest recommendation for affordable, high quality cordless phones. You will not be sorry you purchased this phone.
