Everything nice except most important feature.......2007-04-02
This would have been a nice phone set, but the reception was awful! I got static sound no matter where I was in relation to the base and no matter where I put the base in the house.
The manual said to place it away from electrical objects such as microwaves and tv's. First of all, it is hard to do that nowadays. Second, I did try to move the base and little units around, but I got no change in reception quality.
Otherwise, this would have been a really great phone.

When I purchased this set I still had my doubts, but now that I've used it for almost two months, I can assure you that it is the best phone I've ever had. I purchased this phone per the reviews I've read and trust me folks, you will not be disappointed. Crystal clear reception, easy/soft push buttons, bright orange backlight, and whole bunch of other extras to go along.

I'm one of those people that loves to research anything and everything out there before I buy and when I came across the reviews on this phone, I had to check it out. After reading up on it, as well as the comments being very good, I bought it and again, feel I made a wise investment.
The answering machine is great also, very loud, clear and has 3 separate mailboxes which is great for personal, business, and what-nots.

Believe or not, I have purchased two other brands' 5.8 cordless phones before but returned them less than a week. But this time I have been using it for weeks already and I will keep it. It met all my satisfactions and I gave two thumbs up. The sound quality is crystal clear and the intercom is so handy. Best of all, the built-in three mailboxes is a nice feature and my kids felt repected because they have their own mailboxes. The price is no where else you can find and it is the best especially with three handsets.

I've had quality problems with my RAZR mobile phone as well.

Not having a "set-up for dummies" manual, took a while to get everything running smooth. With that being done, do very much like the unit. The extra phone with not having to have a line hook-up is very nice. The hand set appears to be very sturdy, as have dropped it in the dog's water dish more than once. The speaker unit on the hand set is great, as can talk hands free while doing my chores. Nice set up.
Needs more volume control!!!.......2007-05-10
I think I'm pretty happy with this phone. Got a nice speakerphone system that's really clear. I just think that there should be more volume control for the replay of messages. It is so LOUD and I have it down to the lowest volume setting. However, that seems like a small problem for such a nice system. I like the blue light that comes on when you have a message. You could be all the way across the room and you can tell that there's a message. It's great!
Great phone but not perfect for me........2007-04-23
This is a great phone, the sound quality is good, and it has all the features you would expect from the top of the line multi-extension cordless phones plus several which I haven't seen on other systems. There were a couple of features that ruined this system for me. First the tone dialing is not directly connected to the button press, i.e. you can not control the length of the tone while dialing. This is a problem for me since I have some dialing features that require I send a tone for over a second (hold the number key down for over a second). The other feature I wish this system had is to display the phonebook name on the caller id rather than the caller id name i.e. "Mom" would display instead of "DOE, JANE". I use a Dock-N-Talk for my main phone line Phonelabs DNT01 Wireless. The features that were missing from this phone means I can't use the system for speed dialing, voice dialing, and displays all names as "DOCK N TALK". I am returning the phone.

I've had the phone for about a week now, including the optional Bluetooth Mobile Phone Link.
Pros: Stylish than most. Build & sound quality.
Cons: When using the base speakerphone and you pick up the handset from the base, it DOES NOT switch to the handset. Major annoyance.
Buttons are little stiff, maybe I was just used to my previous setup.
My previous setup was a Panasonic KX-TC1881B 2 line 900MHz DSS speakerphone. The Motorola was supposed replace my Panasonic, but I think not. Too bad, I do like the stylish design & the optional bluetooth link.
