Ordered this to re-charge my sansa from the wall socket. And its working absolutely as it supposed to be. I cannot use the player while recharging it through USB from a computer, but with this, I can use the player while charging also. Dont know about the other cables which were supplied along with. My entire purpose was met.

I got this cable when we lost my husbands original cable while evacuated in the San Diego fires. He was so mad when the cable would not fit his sansa e260. the cable is about .5mm to wide for the socket in the sansa

I bought this as a replacement for my original sandisk cable.
This really is JUST a charger. It only transfered music with the cord like 20% of the time. (weird) Maybe it is not usb 2.0...
However, it does charge well. Plus you can use the wall/car charger for other USB devices.

Doesn't Work.......2007-05-18
I just received this product and plugged in my Sansa. Windows tells me that the Sansa is not recognizable. The product does appear to allow charging of the device through the usb port, but that is useless since it doesn't allow recognition of the device or syncing of the device. I will consider the money wasted and buy a genuine SanDisk replacement cord

Forget what anybody says, this is a well made case. Soft leather exterior, padded suede leather interior, vinyl window (shipped with protective tape over it), reinforced lid with concealed magnetic catch made it a perfect choice for my Sansa. The player slides in and out with ease. Outer edges are rolled and stitched. Dial and window opening are glued and bonded in matching color. Any complaints about scratches to the player from this case are completely unfounded. This is also the best price you'll pay for a quality case. Item was received two days after ordering too, without paying extra for faster shipping.
Case has a belt loop, but lacks the convenience of a clip-on. The edges around the dial opening are a bit close and raised making access to menu and power button inconvenient unless using fingernails to press them. After a week I was able to navigate without problems. Recorder button is below cutout in edge of case which prevents accidental recording. Headphones must be unplugged to remove player, but I seldom had a reason to remove it.
I recommed this case. Item is exactly as shown on the website. Don't by an extra screen protector because it is built in to the case.

This cover will protect the body of your sansa but not the screen. It put lots of scratches on my screen, one of them deep.

Very complete player.......2007-05-17
I have never owned an Ipod Nano, which would be a comparable product. However, I can say that the Sansa e250 seems to be a better option for the price. It has FM stereo radio, a voice recorder (you can also record FM programs), and has a slot for a micro SDcard to expand the capacity. It is extremely easy to use and has a battery that can last around 15 hours (specs say up to 20 hours). The sound quality is excellent. It's only drawback is that loading songs from a CD to the MP3 player is not as friendly as I would like. In order to be able to keep your songs grouped into folders, you have manipulate the songs in the folder through the Windows Media player to insure that all the songs have the same album title. This is somewhat cumbersome when you are mixing songs into a folder from different CD's. The on-line support given by Sandisk when you have a problem, is very good. Overall, I am very pleased with this product.
