I thought I would get the black circular plastic disc that the suction cup affixes to but it wasn't there. I had to make my own from plexiglass.
For the amount paid I was somewhat disappointed.

The bracket and charger worked very well. I id have a problem with the order. I paid a premium to expedited the delivery, but the shipment still arrived one day later that I was promised.

the mount & charger work great. The mount keeps the Tom Tom mounted securely to the windshield. the charger allows me to charge up the Tom Tom in my vehicle, both items are working as i expected.

This sleek, simple mount holds on to my windshield very well and just works with my TomTom 720. I highly recommend it. Very handy so I can use my TomTom in both cars with no fuss.

Its always nice to have an extrea mount for your GPS.....but these mounts really suck. particularly compared to how excellent the older tom tom windshield mounts were designed.
in both my camry and my forester the force the screen down at such an angle as to be very irritating. And they are not adjustable.
also you have to manually install the cahring cable, microphone, fm receiver etc each time you install the device. in the older tom tom 700 I had, it was a simple pop in and pop out.
this thing really sucks and is in no way worth $30.

Ordered this as an additional mount for another car and received it broken. It was promptly replaced with a working model and has functioned perfectly so far. I think the plastic piece inside the mount that was broken should be redesigned with some stronger material but other than that it works as advertised.
TomTom Warranty.......2007-11-22
My 910 mount recently broke after 11 months of sporadic use. I contacted TomTom and they stated the 910 came w/ a 2 year warranty! They replaced my mount and had it shipped to me immediately (got it in 3 days). I didn't even have to send the broken one back. Call TomTom 1st, their customer service was excellent.

Like another reviewer mentioned, there is an old version, and a new one. Your best bet is to order it straight from TomTom. I currently have a new one, and will base my review on that! Anyhow, I really love this thing! The mount easily holds the weight of the GPS, and doesn't take up much room on the windshield when the GPS unit isn't attached. This thing is so reliable, it has actually been suctioned to my windshield for about 6 months as I write this. Now some of the problems people are encountering are probably due to them not twising the mount knob until they hear two "clicks". I highly recommend anything to do with the Go 910, including this mount.

My second mount kit just broke today while I was driving.
I only use this navigator once a week and this happended
twice in past 11 months.
I don't know if I have to buy the new one every 6 months.
Tomtom really need to improve this mount kit.
Even though I love my tomtom 910, because of this mount kit
I am seriously thinking about swiching to Garmin.
I hope Tomtom replace this one for me.

Perfect replacement.......2007-09-05
I bought the original Tom Tom Go Plus GPS in 2005. On a recent business trip to Seattle, my rental car was burglarized and the thief, seeing the suction cup mount for my Tom Tom thought I had left the GPS in the car, too. I didn't, but the creep stole the suction cup and the charger cord, rendering me GPS-less for the rest of the trip.
After contacting Tom Tom support, who fulfilled all my lowered expectations from dealing with them before, I searched and searched and searched for a replacement. I bought something on ebay that didn't work, and a GPS specialty store sold me another unit that didn't come close to matching the Tom Tom Go base. I finally stumbled upon this mount at Amazon and ordered it. It works perfectly! Better, I think, than the original mount. To get a charger cord with it is an added bonus.
The suction cup is aggressive! The mount has two different wheels that you can use to adjust the GPS just right for driving. I couldn't be more pleased to not have to buy another GPS unit.

I thought the bracket would be manufactured differently than the original that broke too soon. It is the same. The thing works well, but I am concerned about its useful life.
Great mounting option for the GO 700.......2007-01-27
I received a GO 700 from my wife for Christmas and this mount has been fantastic! I have been able to move it from vehicle to vehicle without any problems. It has never fallen off of the windshield and seems to be infinitely adjustable. The built in microphone is so clear that the people that I speak with using hands rarely know they are on speaker. The one and only problem that I have had with it is the tilt adjustment (the one with 2 knobs) gave way once and the GO 700 flopped down a little. Tightening up the adjustment fixed this problem, but it really needs to be pretty tight to avoid the flop. I like it so much that I am purchasing one more of these mounting kits for my wife's vehicle.

This particular unit will NOT work with model 910.
