Remarkably Poor Design.......2007-12-26

Wow, this is poorly done. Impossible to keep it standing in upright position. Clearly, no one at Sennheiser has used one of these. The batteries and cables enter through the bottom faceplate and it barely contains the lot. If you can get the faceplate back on and the cables in their little grooves at all, you'll then be surprised to find that it made no difference since the thing falls over anyway - and then the plate pops off!! Outrageous.

I've used other Sennheiser products and been pleased but this product was a disappointment. And, the idea that this could be used in a call center environment is laughable.

On a side note: I would buy Sennheiser again. I have been very happy with my USB, over the ear headset I use with Skype. Very comfortable, and extremely good sound isolation and quality.

the best webcam!.......2007-05-25

It is quite silly to rate a product if you can't make it working. It works with any windows OS even with Vista, just google the driver correctly. The quality of this product is really impressive ! I'd say it is the best webcam released in the market so far. My first Intel camera experience resulted in to 2 more as gift.
Although we find it a very good camera CS330/CS430, be aware of others Intel's cameras. They do not have the same quality.

I have this webcam for over two years now and it worths every penny. I use it for video chatting and playing games.

After a week of trials and errors, I succeeded modify this affordable webcam to be my astrocamera. It works great! More info on "intel cs330 astrocam" can be found on google.

No good if you have Windows 2000.......2001-03-20

This works fine with Windows ME(with a patch)and Win98 but I mostly use Win2K. Intel offers a beta driver for Win2K but it doesn't work very well. I would recommend buying a different camera if you use Windows 2000. I will have to buy another camera now that I use mostly Windows 2000.

Off to a bad start..........2000-08-21

I hear of Intel quite a bit nowadays. I expected their products to perform reasonably well... This flimsy hunk of plastic refused to comply with everything I tried to have it do. It would take one snapshot, then freeze. Then, once I got the program to become unstuck, my computer would crash, rendering everything on my computer dead. Then, after a few rounds of this, I decide to remove the software. Bad idea. It took over a half-hour of battle with this monstrosity to pry its deathgrip off my system. The closest I could get to determining the cause of this debacle is that, on the back of the box, it says that it's optimized for Pentiums. I have an AMD Athlon. ? Any help would've worked, but the forum for video and conferencing on intel.com was deactivated in April. Probably because people got fed up w/ a $140.00 P.O.S. and quit dealing with it. Good doorstop maybe, good camera, I don't think so. :(

You can't substitute the power cord from the cradle to the camera to charge the batteries, the batteries will only charge from the cradle.

for the price of this cradle, you can just buy a bunch of AA batteries or a better set of rechargeable.

Beware if you are purchasing this for a Fuji Finepix E550. In the picture the cradle is shown with the top plastic adapter you need to properly use this with a E550. When I recieved mine this piece was not included. It will still work, but it is not stable in the base.

After all is said and done, I commend the customer service managers at Ace Photo and Digital. However, it took a month, two phone calls, and a very angry email to finally get all the parts that this Fujifilm Universal Cradle comes bundled with. Just make sure if you order this (excellent, excellent, excellent Fujifilm product)cradle through Ace Photo and Digital that you get all your parts. If not, don't waste your time calling customer service- email the manager straightaway. This is probably a fluke that I had to deal with and you won't, but be aware. Fujifilm Cradle works great, even without the adapter. Four Stars to Fujifilm.

If you are purchasing a camera that has this cradle as an accessory, be sure to buy it. I purchased my camera about 2 years ago and didn't get the cradle at first. I recently purchased it and wish I had done so at the time of the camera purchase. I don't have to worry about batteries since this charges the batteries (which come with the cradle) when the camera is in the cradle. I wasn't sure at first what I would need the cradle for and now I don't know how I did without it. A definite must if you like convenience and want to always have your camera ready to shoot!
