The HL-1470N's PCL6 and PostScript Level 2 emulation keep advanced users happy, as does the automatic interface and emulation switching. With a 250-sheet expandable paper capacity (up to 500 sheets with an optional tray), this laser printer is ideal for office jobs.

Good deal for a network Laser Printer.......2001-09-17
You really pay extra for the built-in printserver (compared to the 1440 model) but I think its worth it to hook up to your ethernet network. I have mine on an Mac airport wireless network and it works great. There have been a few adobe postscript errors when printing .pdf documents. The print quality is superb. Once you've had a laser, you never want to go back to inkjet and all that bother of constantly replacing ink cartriges.
