I bought this to split my cable signal comming into my computer. I currently use 4 of the 8 connections. One each to my cable modem, two analog PVR-150 analog tuner cards and a Slingbox Tuner. I have not noticed any signal loss and the cable modem works as fast as before I split the signal.

Wrong kind of DVI.......2007-04-03
Description did not state what type of DVI this was.
I wanted to hook one DVI up to a projector and one up to a CRT monitor, but it seems this splitter only supports DVI-D and both of my cables are DVI-I which you can not plug into DVI-D connection.
The CRT only supports DVI-I even if I would get an adapter. So I'm left with a useless splitter in the end.
It would be a good idea to add that this splitter does not support analog cables/connections (DVI-I, DVI-A and CRT's for example).
The wrong device.......2007-04-02
I used the splitter to send the signil of the dvd player and satilite box to the big screen tv. Forgot to turn off the dvd player off and the next day I could not use the splitter on side that the dvd player was on.

Splits my dvi into 2 outputs. 1 to monitor and 1 to LCD TV. However, with one unplugged there's static/noise on the other screen. It's no biggie. Otherwise both output simultaneously just fine. For the money it did what I want it to do.

In order for this product to work with both your monitor and a television you need a high output graphics card (around $400) would have been nice if they tell you this. Now I have to send it back and pay my own shipping and handeling
