I sadly did not read the reviews before buying this worthless bundle of wires. After feeding it through a cabinet set (no metal), I experienced the same 'ghosting' everyone else did. No matter what the configuration. Went out and bought a real extension cable (15 ft) from a local store for $25 and it works beautifully. I actually just cut the ends off this one and pulled the cable out so I wouldn't have to de-feed it through my cabinet set. Tossed it in the trash. I give this one a NEGATIVE 5 stars.

Not happy. If you are worried about image quality, don't bother. Very noticeble "shadow" on text, causing a blurred image. Flimsy cable, proved very lossy. Spend the extra couple of bucks and go DVI extension if you can. Cheapest DVI extension I found gave me a huge improvement.

Causes extreme ghosting on monitor. I expect this is due to the fact that the cable has very thin shielding -- much less than a standard 6ft monitor cable. I bought this because I wanted to get my computer off my desk and out of the way, but was completely useless to me. Threw it away.

In order to rearrange my computer equipment, I needed something longer than the original monitor cable to connect between the CPU and monitor. I found this cable and ordered it, thinking it would do what I needed. After receiving the cable, I quickly learned that it causes ghosting on the monitor, something that does not happen with the original cable. The manufacturer, Tripp-lite suggests changing the resolution or refresh rate, neither of which would be acceptable to me. I would like to see Amazon revise their description of this item and tell people that it may deteriorate the performance of their monitor.

Horrible.......2006-10-09
I bought this to replace my moniter cable for my Samsung LCD (the cable I was currently using had a short in it). This cable was even worse. The ghosting was so bad that I could barely read any of the text on my screen. Companies shouldn't even be selling cables this bad.

Not recommended, thin cable, bad picture!.......2006-01-30
This very light-weight and cheap feeling 25' cable produced hazing and ghosts in the VGA signal, worse with the higher resolutions. Further reading indicates that it is due to improper impedence rating of the cable, which means it is just cheap materials. If you need a VGA cable to go 25', get it heavy shielded and pay.. or you will end up paying twice.

Bad quality signal - don't buy it.......2003-11-01
I bought this cable to connect my laptop to a 21" screen. The video signal quality is really bad, and my eyes hurt after 10 min. I work with it. The same laptop, the same screen, and an old cable I borrowed from a colleague of mine work perfectly.
