Customer Reviews:
Don't buy the PX200, there's better sounding stuff for the money out there........2007-12-25
My PX200 arrived today. I was very disappointed with the sound quality. I tested it on my iPods (which was purchased for that purpose) and immediately requested an RMA from Amazon. Build wise it is decent, the storage case is quite clever, however, sound wise it was very unbalanced. It had nice high tone separation, decent color but the lower registers (bass) was missing a lot. It labels itself with 'Powerful Bass' which is deceiving; alas even my nephew's al-cheapo AKG K26P (though I must admit somewhat muddy and requires treble boosting) beat it any-day. Buy the AKG K81 DJ which is a way much better value for money in terms of sound compared to the PX200. Then again perhaps I prefer the AKG sound. I have the K141, K55, K81 DJ (which broke and the PX200 was a replacement), C1000s and like them all. Thank god that Amazon would take the Sennheiser PX200 back. I'm buying a new K81 DJ from Amazon to replace the old one.
Fantastic.......2007-12-24
Great set of cans... not as good as my Bose but then they are 1/4 the price... great for taking to the book store with my ipod! I Like them so much a bought two more and gave them as gifts!
Exceeded Expectations.......2007-12-23
I'm not sure what I expected with these phones with so many people saying that the PX100 were so much better than the PX200. They may well be better (I've never tried them - I wanted a closed phone so not everybody could hear what I was listening too), but so far I've been very impressed with these. The first album I listened to on them was the new Caribou album. The sound these phones produced seemed crystal clear, warm, and natural. The voice of the singer came through very well. The next CD I listened to was the new Daft Punk album. Once again, I was very impressed, but I did notice what other reviewers have noted: very little bass. I will withhold judgement on this aspect as these phones supposedly require a bit of a break-in period for the bass to become more apparent. I also find the headphones to be a lot lighter than I thought they would be and think they are comfortable enough. They are certainly a big step up from the distorted sound of the headphones that come with my Ipod.
Great Headphones.......2007-12-20
I'm not an audiophile so I cant comment about the specs but as a person who enjoys music I really like listening to these headphones. I use them with my pc and ipod and the sound quality is great. The collapsible feature is really useful because I can neatly store them in the bag that I take to work everyday. The headphones do keep some of the background noise out but not all of it.
The key is patience.......2007-12-17
I purchased these along with a set of Sennheiser PX 100 Collapsible Headphones.
Out of the box the PX100's sound fantastic. Unfortunately that wasn't the case with the PX200's. Out of the box they sound ok but nowhere near as good as their open baffled counterparts.
Now, after six months of regular use, they are on par with the PX100's.
Sounds (no pun intended) stupid but I guess the best thing to do is keep some music playing on them for a couple of weeks (or more) until they "break in".
They sound great now.
They do a decent job of keeping the music in and outside noise out (something the PX100's can not do). They are comfortable but not as comfortable as the PX100's. Both sets fold up for easy storage.
Overall either is a great buy.

Great Value.......2007-10-16
OK, I am not an audiophile like some on here, but do appreciate a great set of headphones that are closed so as not to disturb those around me. I must say that I love these so much that I am ordering a pair to travel with. They have great sound, are very comfortable and come with a carrying case so that they won't be damaged inside your computer bag. Would recommend!
I can hear again.......2007-10-05
I have two sennheiser products - one a wireless headset connected to my home theater and the PX200W headset that i use with a sansa MP# player. I know i have high frequency loss in both ears, but these instruments help me enjoy what I thought was lost. Great phones!
Fantabular.......2007-08-21
I recently bought a MacBook, and I spent hours (literally) searching for a good set of headphones that matched the white of the computer. After looking at different types of ear buds, (rediculously expensive) Bose headphones, and even bluetooth sets, I decided on these.
When I first opened the packaging, I was a bit skeptical. My first thought was, "great -- a pair of headphones strong enough to last a good month." After using them for the past couple weeks, I can say my original assumption about these headphones couldn't be more wrong.
They're extremely durable, comfortable beyond belief (even for those who wear glasses), and the sound quality is perfect. Even the bass performs on a level better than most headphones I've used. When all said and done, Sennheiser has not let me down with my purchase. Sure, they're fairly expensive, but you get what you pay for.
Sennheiser PX 200 headphones.......2007-07-06
Comfortable headphones with very good sound. I decided to purchase these rather than more expensive noise reduction headphones, and in most circumstances these work fine. The sound is better than the Etymotic ER 6i earbuds that I was using previously.
Awesome!!!!.......2007-05-27
I'going to brief about Sennheiser PX-200 because my English skill is very bad.....
Once listen with it!!!
You feel great sound quality!!!
It's absolutely defferent from others!!!
