The Phone That Talks
When a call comes in, this phone doesn't just let you see who's calling, it actually tells you who's calling with Talking Caller ID
1,2. Using text-to-speech technology, the caller's name is announced between rings if name/number Caller ID
1 information is available.
Can You Repeat That?
With SlowTalk message playback, you'll never miss important information again. You can slow down the playback speed of recorded messages by 30 percent at the touch of a button. And with this system's all-digital answering system, those messages will already be crystal clear and easy to retrieve, with up to 18 minutes of recording time.
Voices Come Through Loud and Clear
By simulating a band signal above and below the normal bandwidth limitations, Voice Enhancer Technology helps clarify and improve sound reception creating a natural-sounding voice that is easy to hear and understand.
Turn the Ringer Off...
Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message. You can also choose up to three different light-up indicator colors to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data. Light-Up ID
1,4 requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call.
...Or Keep the Ringer On
With Ringer ID
1, you can choose from a downloaded or selectable ringer to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data, which also requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call.
Let the Kids Join the Conversation
With a Digital Duplex Speakerphone on the back of each handset, you can enjoy convenient, high-quality, hands-free conversations from any room in the house. So let the kids join in on the conversation with Grandma and Grandpa, or paint your nails while you chat with your best friend. The base unit also features a dual keypad, which lets you dial without having to use the handset.

Panasonic KX--TG6072B Cordless Phone.......2007-12-29
More value is packed into this phone than any other cordless products I've tried. The "Talking Caller ID" saves me getting out of my easy chair to answer telemarketing calls. The ability to locate the compact additional handset with charger anywhere in the house eliminates an additional telephone outlet. In the 6 months I have used this phone I have not found a sing "con" against it.
Good Phone.......2007-12-24
A phone which has quite a few features for a good price. Havent faced any issue as such
Paul S........2007-12-20
This is my third Panasonic cordless phone. Truth is, all cordless phones these days seem pretty much the same: clear sound, great range, feature-laden, solid performers.
I keep upgrading my Panasonics for one reason: I love the Talking Caller ID. I know it's imperfect: the computer-generated voice sounds like "Robbie the Robot," and garbles words and (especially) names it doesn't recognize right off. But these days, for personal reasons, I screen all my phone calls. Caller ID is great: but if you're across the room, who wants to sprint to the phone to check the ID screen? I'm on the national "Do Not Call" list, but that doesn't always do the trick. Hearing my phone announcing who's calling--even if it's sometimes just an educated guess--is wonderful.
Also a big help at night: I don't have to reach for the phone and turn on the lights to find out who's calling. If I know it's a wrong number or a sales pitch I don't even have to lift my head off the pillow. Let the darn thing ring! Let the answering machine take it!
As I said, this is my thid Panasonic: they keep getting better and better and easier to use. Phone #1 had battery life problems: not so #2. I expect #3 to be worry-free.
Oh, one other upgrade worth mentioning. On my earlier phones you couldn't listen to your voicemail messages from the handset: you had to go to the base. Glad to see that's no longer the case.
Last thought: the price is right. Over the last few years features have been added and the price has dropped.
EXCELLENT PHONE.......2007-12-13
There is absolutely nothing I can really say bad about this phone that has not already been said. I must say, I don't have a battery problem as one review indicated. Our battery last for days. Also, the phone can be located by the intercom. It does not work like most phones do, the way most people are use to, but it does do the trick. I used it to locate the handset just a few days ago. I also believe that talking caller ID feature is fantastic, as if we are in the middle of something, or in a comfortable position and really don't care to move to answer the phone we can find out who's calling before and decide if we want to answer it before making a move. I would definately recommend this phone.
Excellent audio quality and range, very configurable.......2007-12-13
I'm elated that I finally have an attractive, well-designed cordless phone system with landline-quality audio, headset jacks, and no WiFi interference.
I appreciate that the handsets and base unit are all independently configurable so that different phones can have different rings or have Talking Caller ID turned on or off. The settings are very easy to navigate.
I agree with other reviewers that the lack of an LCD on the base unit is a minus, but after reading the instructions I discovered that the base unit could be remotely controlled using the LCD on the handsets.

It's so-so.......2007-12-21
For a mid range priced device it's not horrible. It has a very comfortable design with a car visor clip to cradle and charge your device anywhere. The connection process with your phone is a little complicated and will occasionally need a reset for some unexplained reason. But the sound has the potential to sound very good.
My biggest problem with this device is that if the phone is not in direct site of the ear piece, the quality of sound dramatically drops off. Even if the phone is in the pocket of your pants on the other side of your body from the device the quality drops off simply because your body is in the middle. The range estimate is solely based off of direct line of site where no bodies, walls, doors, cars or anything else are between the device and the phone.
Great reception, providing...........2007-12-12
I like this headset but will have to limit the usage to the car. It comes in clear and loud which is good. But this is only the case if it's on the seat next to me.
If I am out and about and it is on my left side forget about reception. Even in a jacket pocket on the ride side increases static by 25% easy.
If you want something for the car I would reccomend this. If you want an all around headset, pass.
Very Happy with Headset.......2007-12-06
I use this with a Cingular 3125. This is my first bluetooth headset, and so far it works great (2 months). I did have a problem where it stopped syncing with my phone. I called tech support and they were very helpful in resetting the unit. I was surprised at how quickly I reached a live person.
Best Bluetooth Ever!.......2007-11-26
This is the third time I've purchased this item, and it likely won't be the last. Sound quality, style and ease of use make it by far the best bluetooth hands-free device out there. The only reason I've had to buy 3 is that I broke one in the bottom of my briefcase and lost another one. Much better than the newer Jabra BT500...don't waste your time.
I Love Jabra BT250V.......2007-11-23
I use many kind of headset but Jabra is the best the voice very clear vibrating alert is important too.I advice every body to buy JABRA BT250V.

Sit close to your Computer.......2007-11-03
Headphones work great, comfortable, good sound quality, but wish the phone leads just came out of one side, another drawback, depending on whether you're are right on top of your PC or not, the overall cord length is too short, only 40" long. There are better choices out there. I have similarly priced headphones that have a 98" cord, and it comes out of only one side of the phones. I would recommend shopping around if this cord length may be an issue for you. Extension leads may be purchased, but cost almost as much as the headphones themselves! Luckily I had an old extension lead. Sorry SONY. A die hard SONY fan nevertheless.
Eep.......2007-09-23
They work, but that is about the best I can say for it. They are a poor fit to the ear and worse of all, the cord is very, very short. This is not suitable unless you can have the source very close to you, and useless if your audio jack is in the back of your computer as it won't reach.
Great for the price........2007-09-08
Some inexpensive headphones were needed for a children's computer lab. These fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality is decent and they appear to be fairly sturdy (none broken after six weeks of kid use). For an adult, the over the head piece is a bit snug, but with a child's smaller head, they work fine.
Sony Bargain Headphones.......2007-05-18
I understand the concept of "you get what you pay for," and I also thought that the Sony brand stood for at least a reasonable expectation of quality no matter the price. So I was very disappointed to discover that these $9.99 headphones are inferior to the ones that came with the Magnavox JogProof CD player that I purchased from Kragen Auto Parts for $15.99.
Quite satisfactory - full bass - good clarity.......2007-04-20
Back in the 1980's I purchased an Awia portable stereo cassette player (walkman) based on it's superior sound (at least compared to others that were offered at the time). I was still using the headset that came with that stereo until a couple days ago when the left side quit. I was very satisfied with the sound as I thought it was well balanced and natural. For a replacement I wanted something that sounded similar to what I was used to hearing. Having been out of the market for 20 years, I had no idea what the new headsets were like. I tried an in the canal type headset and was disappointed in the lack of bass response (comapred to what I was used to). So I decided to try a headphone that was more like the Awia with the open speakers. Sony kept appearing as a highly regarded brand. I wasn't looking for audiophile quality - I probably can't hear that well any more anyway - I just wanted good and cheap. This Sony headset should fit the bill for me. It is a little fuller in the bass than I am used to, but the clarity is considerably better. I described my old Awia headset as being balanced and natural - like a concert hall - and not in need of an equalizer. In comparison I think I would describe this Sony headphone as full and clear, like a studio - more like listening through an enclosed headphone than an open headphone. It's not quite like my old headphones, but quite satisfactory. I think if you like a full bass response you will like this headphone set.
I don't feel as though these are going to fall off my head - actually they are quite tight and I am going to see if I can relax the headband a bit.

Duracell Powerpack 600 keeps you running
at home and on-the-road. |
The Power to Get the Job Done Safely
The heart of the Duracell Powerpack 600 is a sealed, non-spillable 28 amp-hour AGM battery. It can be safely and conveniently recharged from any household AC outlet or DC cigarette-lighter outlet, making it ready to go whenever you need it. This robust battery is tied to a power inverter that provides 600 watts of power to its three grounded AC outlets and one DC socket. Multiple outlets give you the flexibility and convenience to operate several appliances at once, while the 3-digit barragraph LED indicator dynamically monitors the Duracell Powerpack's battery charge level. Internal circuitry ensures long inverter life by protecting against overload and over-temperature conditions. An audible alarm also signals during overheating and under-voltage situations, alerting you to any possible safety concerns.
Duracell Powerpack 600 Protects You On the Go
Duracell Powerpack's 28-amp battery can jump start most 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder engines with its included jumper cables. A reverse polarity detector further ensures your safety by disallowing power transfer in the event that the jumper cables are connected to the incorrect battery terminals. Duracell Powerpack 600 also provides ample power to recharge cordless and cellular telephones. At the same time, it can operate emergency lights, televisions and a wide range of DC-powered products. A built-in AM/FM clock-radio provides access to news and emergency broadcasts, while the built-in emergency light provides extra illumination to keep you out of the dark and to signal to others if you are stranded.
Perfect for Outdoor Adventures
From remote job sites to the family picnic, Duracell Powerpack's portability makes it an excellent choice for many outdoor adventures. It is mighty enough to run power tools and equipment in the wilderness. The 600-watt power inverter also lets you bring some of the comforts of home to your campsite or outing. Small appliances, portable coolers, laptops, televisions and gaming consoles will run for hours. Duracell Powerpack 600 means you'll never be left in the dark.
What's in the Box?
The Duracell Powerpack 600 includes several convenient accessories. Compatible jumper cables allow you to jump start your vehicle. The AC adapter recharges the unit from any standard wall outlet and stows away inside the unit when not in use. A DC charging cable can be inserted into any standard cigarette-lighter outlet, providing rechargability on-the-go in any automobile, boat, or RV. A versatile accessory bag is also included for storage.

A compare and contrast review of the 600 and 400plus power supply.......2007-12-23
I just bought this item, so my review is short for now. The only
thing I have to say right now is this item is very heavy for a women
to carry. I nearly broke my back trying to lug it down the stairs
and I am not looking forward to bringing it back up if there actually
is a power outage.
Eight months ago I bought a Xantrex 400plus with a 20AH battery and
it is significantly lighter. I bought the 600 because it has a 28AH
battery. The up side is it will last 1/3 longer than the 400plus.
The down side is it weighs at least 10 lbs more and for me that made
a difference.
The 600 has a radio, but no air compressor which is fine as far
as I am concerned, because I only need it in case of a power
outage.
I think the 600 is better if you plan on keeping it at home and
only using it for power emergencies. The 400plus is better if you
plan on lugging it around to jump start batteries, inflate a
flat tire or using on a camping trip.
I heard some people keep this item in thier car. I would not
suggest doing that because batteries can explode or be damaged
under extreame temperature variations.
DURACELL 600 HD POWER PACK.......2007-12-21

Great Product- Built well and very handy.
I use it for camping and have it handy for power outage, it keps the phones and TV's running
It is like a little generator, except lighter and quiet, I recommend this product- lots of uses!
Value for Money.......2007-12-05
I would rate this product value for money. I did expect it to be more powerful but it certainly serves the purpose that I require it for. I think that this would be a tremendous asset in the event of a powercut.Duracell DPP-600HD Powerpack 600

Headset.......2007-12-01
This headset was alright. It's really light, I like how the colors isn't a plain black. But like all headsets, the more you tug at the cord, the more likely one side of your headset would die out. But other than that, this headset was decent for it's price.
Great headphones for a Great price!.......2007-11-11
Very comfortable, i can wear for hours on end and they don't bother my ears. I have a $200 pc stereo system and these seem to give me better "surround sound" than my expensive stereo. I don't have a sound card but they sound great!
Just love this item.......2007-10-19
I sing on a voice enabled chat room - not a gamer - and This is the best headset I have found. Noise canceling is outstanding - voice quality evokes remarks and inquiries very often.
Nice Sound Good Price.......2007-09-20
I decided to give the Plantroincs Gamecom 1 PC headset a try for a few reasons:
1. Good luck with other Plantronics products in the past
2. Reports of Comfort
I'm happy to say that so far they have lived up to expectations. Good quality sound and the foam pads are much more comfortable than the faux leatherette pads found on products like logitech. I can wear these comfortably for hours even though I wear glasses. Highly recommended.
Excellent purchase.......2007-09-12
Purchased these from an Amazon partner company for less than $12 refurbished, but I believe it was just an "open box" set. I've been using them to play online for about a month now and am completely satisfied.
I trashed a set of Altec Lansing AHS615 because the inner speaker sat on my ear along with the surrounding support cushion - after a couple of hours my ears started to hurt.
I can wear the Gamecom models all day without a problem and, based upon other reviews, think they may be one of the best on the market. They're also very light in weight.
Sound quality is great, decent bass and high-to-mid frequency output levels - all are mixed very well.
Overall I would recommend these to anyone looking for a nice headset/mic combo that provides quality performance without being overpriced.

Customer Reviews:
Light gray ink B9180.......2007-11-16
If you can afford this printer don't complain about the ink price. It's pigment based ink, that's how they make money off the printer don't you know. We'd all like to be able to print for free, but it doesn't work that way. People need to get paid for their work and big shots need more houses and boats. The printer is very good and the light gray is the one that runs out fastest. It is made in Singapore, so don't drink it. The printer's software leaves a bit to be desired, but overall print quality is quite superb I think. By the way, try filling a Z3100 if you think this little bugger is expensive. It's a pile for a working man, of course per ounce a bit cheaper though.
Runs out too fast!.......2007-10-19
Just one thing about this ink--and maybe any ink.
It runs out too fast!
Very Good Ink in VERY Small Containers.......2007-06-01
As inks go, this appears to be very good stuff. In fact, they say it's guaranteed to last 200+ years, although I'm not sure who around me will go ask for a free cartridge if my documents or photos only last 150 years. More to the point, it DOES look great.
On the other hand, these cartridges are around 30 bucks a piece and I need 8, so it rather irks me that the cartridges are so small. Perhaps that's a comment more appropriate for a review of the printer design, but it's worth noting here.
Also worth noting is that you SHOULD NOT immediately replace the ink cartridge in your HP B9180 when you get a message from it saying that this or that cartridge is about to run out. I say this because, when mine said that, I checked the little meter that tells you how much is left and it said 40% of the cartridge still had ink in it. 40%! To me, 40% is not "about to run out," but I did go ahead and buy an ink cartridge -- I just held onto it until it really became obvious that it was no longer printing that color. Only then did I replace the cartridge, because doing otherwise is needlessly wasting money.
I'm not quite cynical enough to say that HP WANTS you to replace (and recycle) the ink cartridges prematurely, but it obviously would make them more money if you do. Just keep your eyes open and you'll be fine.
Amazon makes a deal.......2007-02-20
HP 38 inks are very high-priced, so the Amazon price combined with super saver shipping is the best deal available. As for the ink, as it is essential to use the HP B9180 printer, what can one say. The inks do their job and the printer is sometimes quirky but always produces a fine print.

Customer Reviews:
A solid product.......2007-12-05
I've used several of these switches and they have performed flawlessly every time. I've never once heard a noise from any of the three switches employed around my main office. This is a really nice product if you're adding devices to an existing gigabit network, or even to create a mini-gigabit network on a 10/100 infrastructure between a few machines. You can't get any easier to use than this.
quiet, cool, and fast.......2007-11-25
I had been buying the Netgear gigabit switches (5 and 8 port) for work, as the metal cases appealed to me, and they seemed as though they'd be tougher and harder to damage. That may be true, but 2 of 5 have died within months.
So I'm trying this and thus far like it. It runs very cool, and I haven't hear the noise that another reviewer noticed, even though I'm using it in a pretty quiet apt.
I'm taking off one star as the case is pretty cheap plastic. Shouldn't matter for my use, but it would be easy to damage this.

plug and play.......2007-10-27
Since I had a D-Link router, I went with the D-Link switch. Pluged all the wires in the proper places, turn it on and it work with no problem nothing to reconfigure. It even seems that my internet connect is working faster with this switch, but don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell you.
The switch has really helped out because of the computers on the 1st floor and my PS3 is in the basement.
Sensitive to electronic noise? Purchase the DGS-2208 instead.......2007-10-08
I purchased a DGS-2205 hoping that the 5-port model would be as decent and efficient as the DGS-2208 (8-port model). I was wrong.
The 5-port model emits high-pitch noises when any of the front panel LEDs are turned on or off. The noise is emit from the base unit itself and not the power supply. Safe to say some people won't be able to hear this noise, but it's quite noticeable to those of us who have sensitive hearing. I had Amazon send me a replacement unit, which had the exact same problem. Interestingly enough, the DGS-2208 uses the same power supply as the DGS-2205. Therefore, I'm left to believe there's a hardware engineering flaw in the 5-port model.
Other than this problem, the unit seems functional. However, note that at least in the case of the DGS-2208, there are multiple versions (1st and 2nd revision) floating around.
For a full review of the DGS-2208, see my Amazon review for that product.
Works right away.......2007-07-16
I've had problems transfering large files between machines over Gigabit ethernet using this switch. Otherwise, it's a good value for the price.
