The two downfalls of the Creative Zen Vision M are the lack of a real case/skin and a lack of AC or DC charging. For under $5 I solved the charging problem (AC & DC) and got an extra USB charging/transfer cable. A definite 5 star purchase.

For the price, you can't beat it. I've used the wall charger and it seemed to charge my unit faster then the OEM USB cord. The circuitry worked as advertised and when the battery was full the unit stopped charging. What I liked the best is when it was charging, the units screen was not on like when it charges using the OEM cord. I used the USB to sync with my PC and it worked great too. I haven't tested the auto lighter adapter, but I'm sure it will work as advertised. Overall a great buy for the funds.

Bought from ClearAV. These cables charge my 30gb Vision-M like they should, fast. The fit and finish is as good as you can get for the money. Definitely get the AV cable too if you can get it in one package. With this package you'll have everything you need without using that creative doggle. I highly recommend these for their value.

i've had this for a couple of weeks already, and it's just been great! got it in less than a week. the usb cord is fantastic. it eliminates the inconvenience of having to use a bulky dock/adapter every time you want to sync with your pc/notebook. it connects to the zen's port perfectly, and does not easily get disconnected.
the chargers work with speed. it only takes an hour or so to get a full charge. the wall charger works with 100-240v, making it the perfect solution for traveling folk. again, both come with the zen plug, eliminating the need for the adapter for charging up.
for those looking for an effective solution for your zen vision m charging and sync woes, look no further. this is the one to get. it's way cheaper and smaller than creative's official zen vision:m charger.

Not too happy with it........2007-12-21
I looked around at all the other similar items for sale on the market and none of their reviews seemed very promising, so I went for this one (as I would be the first to review it). It seems they just don't make a good car adapter yet, except maybe that in-line one that doesn't mount anywhere which I didn't care for.
Here's what's wrong with it:
1. Static FM transmission. Despite being able to pick any station on the FM band the transmitter is just very poor and has some cracking to it and other noises to it.
2. I can hear my engine RPM's over the speakers. A high pitched whistle hums away to my RPM's as I drive (only when the unit is on of course). The static and the whistle seem to get drowned out if you like to play your loud music loud, but for soft music it will drive you nuts.
Bottom line: I'll put up with it until something better comes out. I don't really think you can do a whole lot better or worse than this thing. I do like the design -it's slick. It stays in place even in my rugged 4x4. It could be a little more mindful about the wires that end up hanging out of it to where you have to bundle them and make them less messy. If they fixed the transmitter I'd rate it 4.5 out 5 stars, but until then it's a very low 3.

I guess this is really proves the whole "you get what you pay for" deal. The wall charger is probably the only item that worked out of all three.
The usb charger is erratic, frequent disconnects causing my zune to reboot. The car charger stopped working after the second day.
Please stay away.

Okay, I would have rated this product better since the standard computer USB cable worked (Though the Zune itself comes with this cable, it doesn't hurt to have a spare esp. if you have a laptop & desktop but don't want to keep swapping the cable back & forth) and the regular wall adapter works well too. However, the car charger was junk. I plugged it in and though it charges the Zune, the first time I went to pull it out it broke into pieces. I had to super glue the thing back together once I got the all the components snapped back in place. This is pretty cheap stuff, and though it works for the most part, it will more than likely not last. Thank God the price wasn't so bad, otherwise this would have gotten a much worse review.

I would have perhaps not been so keen on giving this product five stars had it not been for some recent updating Motorola provided to my software just a while ago. Having said updates, however, the product is simply fantastic! The convenience of taking pictures with my camera phone and then being able to transfer them onto my computer and actually USE them is simply FANTASTIC!
I haven't experimented a terrible amount with much more than this feature (e.g. ringtone generator), but from the wonderful experience I've had with it, I would most certainly suggest that if you are currently using the phones that are compatable with this softeware/transfer cable: go for it! =^)
