Doesn't work on my Dell 700m.......2007-12-12
Though all the configurators on the web, including crucial and kingston, say this will work, it does not work on my 700m. It blue screens shortly after start up every time. I will try another brand.

Works fine with my inspiron 5150 computer. Brought it for the extra boost needed to run windows vista business. No issues no crashes or hangs since. compared to the 160usd for dell recommended memory this is a bargin.

I bought one of these modules for my dell 700m. Installed it easily but once every few days my system crashes or I get a blue screen. I contacted kingston and they said that this module hasn't been tested on dell machines and is configured to work on generic computers only! I wouldn't recommend this memory for dell 700m users.

This is originally from IBM/Lenovo and the price in Amazon is even less than Lenovo site. It works very good and no problem so far. Ebay sells for same price, but used ones.

I installed this chip in my G4 12inch 1.5 Powerbook with no problems whatso ever. I've seen a definite increase in speed and ability to have countless applications open. People need to check their specs closely, it seems the reviewers that this chip didn't work for, didn't check their specs first. I've purchased many other Crucial chips and have yet to be disappointed.

It doesn't work with my Apple Powerbook G4.......2007-11-24
I got this memory module with a really great price here. However, after installing it in my Powerbook G4 1.25GHz 15in. The system keeps showing a screen telling me to reboot the computer. Sometimes it appears right after turning on the computer, and sometimes right before login to the system. After e-mailing their support team, I got the response "Unfortunately, the Crucial memory you bought is not compatible with that Powerbook, even though it matches Apple's specs. We offer a special build on our web site for this notebook (CT368654); you can check if Amazon carries it." I'm not sure why this can happen... match the spec but doesn't work? Does it mean this cheaper module (compared to CT368654) has some defects that make it not work with Powerbook well? Who knows what else can happen!! I'd rather spend a little bit more money to get more stable performance!!
