I installed 2 512 ram on my Dell Inspirion 5100 Laptop. It works well and I do not need to upgrade my BIOS version A06. It ran a lot faster. Glad that I spent very little $$$ to extend my laptop life and save tons of time to install software & transfer data to a new one.

I'm not a computer geek, but I bought this memory chip, it took me five minutes to install and it has worked just fine. Just remember that you have to remember you have to but them in pairs for them to work properly in your computer.

Frankly I didn't feel much difference is speed after I installed it on my Notebook to my existed 512MB (On-board pre-installed memory by IBM) but it's a great product by Lenovo.
