I used this set during my runs for a year - it held up until the warantee expired, then the cord/volume control got spotty for a day, then it failed to work. It may have been because of the 100 sweaty runs or the recent half-marathon in the pouring rain. The alternatives out there are either of worse construction/sound, are too expensive (Sennheiser, e.g.), or are earbuds (fall out, can't hear ambient sound). So, I just got another pair of the RCAs to replace the pair that died. They're not the best, but they're good for the money.

These are the only ones I've found that fit my tiny ears. I have now bought 4 other brands of behind the ear sport headphones hoping that one would fit my tiny ears without falling off while I'm running. Of course, no avail. However, the sound quality of these is terrible. The little volume knob on the cord is a pain and always got knocked when I ran (so I just tapped it). However, they lasted for a good year and a half and NEVER FELL OFF!! Good value for the price...I wish the retailer would ship these to Hawaii so I can stop wasting my money on "sport" headphones.
