Customer Reviews:
The Most Expensive Keyboard you'll ever own.......2007-12-31
If you are looking for the best looking keyboard on the market then look no further. The diNovo Edge is like the overprice Mercedes you've always wanted. With regards to its performance it's the most functional and balanced keyboard I've ever used. Like your over priced Mercedes you get a well built slim line keyboard. No need to replace batteries, as the batteries are integrated into the keyboard. The charger is very good. I've run my keyboard for over two months before I needed to recharge it. The tactile feel of the keys are comfortable and the touch pad on the right provides convenience if your using your keyboard in a living room configuration where a flat surface is not always available for a mouse. The docking station used to recharge the keyboard is great if you have room on a non-cluttered desk but for those people who love clutter it makes for a challenge to charge your keyboard.
Very Good Experience even with a MAC.......2007-12-30
I have a MAc Mini connected to my LCD and was looking for an integrated keyboard and mouse that would look great in my living room.
The Dinovo Edge was the perfect match.
Leopard identified the keyboard and installation was a breeze. The mouse and keyboard worked straight away. I had to customise the shortcuts which was very easy using:
http://5thirtyone.com/archives/751
The only drawback I saw was that the mouse could be a little difficult to use (small touch area) Other than that, it is excellent.
Elegant Keyboard.......2007-12-20
Has everything you expect from a keyboard, but has so much more. As soon as you start to type, you feel and hear the difference. The look is very elegant. A little costly, but worth it, imho.
Slim and stylish.......2007-12-18
This takes up very little space, is almost preternaturally thin, and runs for well over a month before it has to be dropped back into its included charger base.
I especially like the little touch pad, which can be used to control the mouse in a pinch (a real mouse is, in my opinion, still necessary).
The action of the keys is that of a short-throw, high-end laptop, like a Thinkpad. I love this, and I can really type quickly with it. If you like something that feels like an older electric typewriter with big keys that move a lot before registering a hit, this is not the product for you. The key action is light, but has tactile feedback. One of the best in the market right now.
When I first got it, I connected it using my existing Bluetooth adapter, and it worked fine but wasn't recognized until Windows came up and loaded the drivers. This is a problem for making changes in the BIOS and other things that happen before Windows is running. It may not happen often, but it is necessary from time to time. The solution is to use the included dongle instead. It connects to the keyboard by itself, without drivers, and makes it look like a standard USB keyboard before Windows is up. Now that I've switched to that, it works just like it was wired.
very nice keyboard.......2007-12-08
I took a chance buying this pricey keyboard but I've been very satisfied with it. The look and feel are great. The key layout is very well thought out, with buttons like mute and mouse-click in all the right places. The only downside is the touchpad, which is so small and cramped -- not much larger than a postage stamp -- as to be rendered useless. Instead of the touchpad, I use an external ergonomic mouse (the joystick mouse made by 3M). Overall, though, I am very pleased with the keyboard and recommend it to others.

Customer Reviews:
One of the best I've used.......2007-12-27
I really like this keyboard/mouse combo. The keyboard has a nice, tactile feeling and the low-profile black and silver look goes great with my Samsung monitor. The mouse feels very precise and the size is great for me. About the only thing that bothers me is that the keys (particularly the space bar) are a bit noisier than on the one I tried in the store, but I suppose they're all a little different. Overall, though, I highly recommend it.
poor reception.......2007-12-06
I got this from Amazon for ~$50, and the keyboard and mouse works fine, that is if I were to sit within 4 ft from the receiver. I had originally HOPED to connect the keyboard and mouse wirelessly and be able to control my laptop while I'm on the couch and use the tv as the monitor. I am not exaggerating when I say beyong 4 ft, this bad boy does not recognize any key stroke nor movement from the mouse, intermittent response at best at a distance. fyi, my couch position is about 8 ft from the receiver.
limited range.......2007-12-06
This is a nice looking keyboard mouse combo. For working at a desk and getting rid of clutter, it works fine. The keyboard is fairly slim and shallow but its works okay. Mouse doesn't turn off automatically.
The problem I had was I wanted it to be used remotely with a PC at one end of the room and the keyboard/screen at another side. I have found that it only works up to about 10ft away from the transmitter when bluetooth devices have no problem working at the 15ft range where I need it to work. Therefore, it's pretty much useless for my purpose.
Looks like you need to spend more than $100 for Logitech's bluetooth enabled keyboards if you need the range.
Logitech Wireless Keyboard/ Mouse Combo S510.......2007-11-25
I like the keyboard/ mouse combo, it works great I would recommend that if anyone want a great deal they buy from this seller, and Amazon.
Works good when in range.......2007-11-15
I got this keyboard for a friend of mine to use in her classroom. To allow her to use a keyboard and mouse even when away from her "Smartboard" device. This is an average sized high school class room. The keyboard and mouse worked fine. However it would not reach all the way across the room. We ended up using the Gyration, which has a great range. If you are just going to use this on a desk, this is a great keyboard and mouse to get.

Customer Reviews:
Photo illuminates keys too much .......2007-12-17
The photo for this keyboard shows an intense blue. Not even close. Poor quality as well.
Do Not Buy This Product.......2007-06-27
This keyboard is for Windows 98. None of the keys work. Technical support said that it had an electrical problem.
Cheap.......2007-03-17
Not only is this product cheap as in inexpensive, it is also cheap in quality. We had to return it within a week of purchasing it because the space bar and the enter key didn't work properly. They keyboard lay out is not like most keyboards- all of the keys were the exact same size flat. It made this keyboard akward to type on. Don't waste your money!
illuminated keyboard.......2007-02-14
its light really is terrific, however, it is SO small that it makes typing difficult. I want a full-sized one......hopefully I can find one made! It works, my son will like it---but for someone who types all the time--it might prove to small as it did with me....the lighting is what I wanted.but in a "real-size" keyboard!
Avoid, seriously avoid.......2006-04-16
I got this for Christmas, and yes, it lights up. So if you want it as a decoration, fine, but don't expect to actually USE it. The keys stick terribly, it is difficult and frustrating to operate, and after several months I dug out an old keyboard and switched back to it instead. I don't usually diss products, but I have rarely been so dissatisfied with a product.

Customer Reviews:
Bad Keyboard.......2007-12-11
Could be great if the keys didn't stick. If you are looking for an HTPC keyboard for rare use since you'll be using a remote control 99% of the time, you might be able to put up with the keys. Otherwise, I would have junked this thing a long time ago.
Need a hammer for the keys........2007-12-09
I love this thing, but over time, the keys get stiffer and stiffer. I started using two fingers occasionally to press the keys. I'd love for it to work right - it's perfect for my use, but it's now in the closet.
The key for a living room PC setup!.......2007-11-21
I got this product from Woot a while back and since have integrated my PC with the HDTV in the living room. This keyboard is the glue that makes it work because without it, you can't interact with the PC.
It's not perfect. The mouse is slow and imprecise and it requires a two-handed operation. It might have been better with an integrated trackball or a touchpad, but it does work and it's sufficient for most "living room" PC tasks. What we use it for is primarily web-surfing/internet lookups, e-mail, and videos/multimedia. Since it is in the living room and uses the TV screen (we have a 50' Sony LCD projection HDTV), we can run it at 1280x1024 and still see it from the couch (about 10-15 feet away).
I've tried using it for the universal remote features and it doesn't really do that well. We have DirecTV and I really haven't found any universal remotes that do DirecTV well. (And I haven't spend the $70+ on the Harmony remote, so I don't know about that one.) So the IR blaster feature on our well-used keyboard really doesn't get used much.
The keyboard is RF so it works great in the many non-line of sight situations I have in my living room with the wife, a baby, and a 10-year old. [Get out of the way, kid!]
I really enjoy being able to sit out in the living room with the family while my wife reads and the kids play and then point out some cool website or video from the internet that they can see then go back to whatever they're doing.
We do not use it for games. I don't think the keyboard would really be good for games, but we just don't do computer games much. (That's what the XBOX and Wii are for!)
The 'o' key is very flaky. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It sounds like a common problem with this keyboard. It used to work great but after a while it's just having problems.
Pros:
* Easy to use on your lap from the couch
* Integrated mouse
* Wireless (obviously)
* Rechargeable with nice charging base (which sits under our TV and is only used for recharging)
* RF so it doesn't need to be pointing at the base
Cons:
* Mouse is slow and imprecise
* Keys get stiff and sometimes stop working
Beware of this keyboard !!.......2007-09-01
key problems occured in 1 month. (especially ctrl, windows key, alt key, and lots of regular keys) now its totaly gone. same problem with two of my friends , gone in 2~ months.
if you`re looking for a good wireless keyboard for your htPc, try Logitech DiNovo Edge /
Great keyboard for my HTPC.......2007-06-20
This is keyboard I always needed for my home theater pc. Its very easy to setup. Has tons of shortcuts and features besides being radio wireless. I can also control couple of my other devices using IR. Has inbuilt charging feature for a pair of AAA rechargeble batteries. So there is no constant battery changes. Charges last a long time when out of the base unit. Mouse is integrated in keyboard, so thats one less device to manage. In short a great wireless keyboard/mouse combo. I will recommend this to all my friends. This product is well worth its money.

Adesso ergonomic keyboard for Mac.......2007-12-21
I have been using the keyboard for about a month now with no problems
The new mac keyboard is next to impossible for anyone with large hands to use
Once you try an ergonomic board you will never go back
There are better keyboards out there!.......2007-12-13
There is very little for this company to be proud of about this product. It is Mac friendly in that it has all the same buttons as my original keyboard, which is exactly why I chose it online. If I could have felt how light and cheaply it was made, I would never have purchased it, which is my guess as to why I didn't see it in any of the stores I shop in. Also, the power button doesn't work at all on the keyboard. The other functions seem to work well enough, but as far as life expectancy, I give this one 6 months to a year. My last PC ergonomic keyboard was built like a tank and lasted so long I wore the bumps of the f and j keys. I have recently found a Microsoft keyboard that is Mac compatible and as soon as i find a wireless one, I'll buy it - even if I do have to configure buttons. This just makes me wish Mac would develop an ergonomic keyboard! The one that came with my Mac was very sleek and well made, but I really need the ergonomic one. The Adesso has got to be the cheapest keyboard I've ever touched and I'm 43. So don't be suckered in by the cheap price, you will definitely get what you pay for or a little less.
Great keyboard.......2007-12-11
Great, long-lasting keyboard. This is the second one of this series that we've bought and we'll likely buy another one next time we need an ergonomic Mac keyboard.
keyboard.......2007-12-10
The keyboard does not perform what it says it does for Mac OS-X. The function keys do not work, yes I did install the software that came with the keyboard. Disappointed!
Not for me.......2007-11-26
This is the second ergonomic keyboard I've owned. My previous one had a similar shape and style, but it got too old, so I upgraded to a new one.
Pros:
--The angle difference between hands is very comfortable for me.
--I like the split space bar.
--The two USB ports is a plus.
--The shape and style in general is comfortable for my hands.
--Most of the extra buttons at the top are very useful (back, forward, stop, refresh, search, favorites, web/home, media controls, mute, volume, close, print, stickies, Sherlock2, Mail, calculator, sleep, power).
--Adesso customer service was very prompt, efficient, and friendly.
Cons:
--The keys are very stiff. When I bought this from Amazon, it arrived with a Delete key that was stiffer than the other keys. I contacted Adesso and they very promptly replaced the keyboard with a new one.
However, while the Delete key was now the same "stiffness" as the other keys, all the keys in general require more hand strength to press than my old keyboard, or even the generic keyboard that came with my other computer tower.
After eight months of using this keyboard, I've finally given up and bought another one. While I don't have wrist pain, my typing speed has slowed dramatically and my error rate is high because of the stiff keys.
The key stiffness might not affect someone else, but I've come to dislike it in the months I've owned this keyboard.
(For my new keyboard, I went to a local electronics store and tested out the keyboards they have on display. I decided on the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 because it felt very comfortable to my hands.)
Product Description
Your keyboard is your direct line of communication with your PC. It can affect your comfort, productivity, and even the quality or your work. That's why it's important to select a keyboard carefully. Evaluate all your options, and you won't find a better choice for your money than the Adesso Mini Keyboard.
Customer Reviews:
Works great.......2007-06-11
One of the wireless keyboard i had. I'm able to control my laptop from 11ft away with no problem. I have my laptop connected to my TV
Letters and numbers on the keys wear-off quickly, don't buy........2007-06-04
I bought 2 of these within a few months of each other because I love this keyboard because of the small size! It's set up great! One of the best keyboards in the world! The problem is that the letters/numbers on the keys come off in 3-6 months making the keyboard worthless extremely quickly and then you have to go out and buy new ones. I don't use the keyboards much so the letters and numbers on the keys should not wear-off so quickly but it's a big flaw of this keyboard because its happening with the 2 that I own.
Adequate not perfect ergonomic solution.......2007-05-06
Small enough to let you keep your mouse closer. Keys very close, hard to keep from hitting 2 at times. Worst aspect: apprently useless lump at back makes this a high-profile keyboard.
So far, so good........2007-05-04
I had no problems installing the keyboard(hooked it up with an Adesso PS/2 to USB adapter). I got the drivers off their website and installation was quick and easy. I was using the keyboard in minutes.
So far I've been using it constantly and haven't had any major problems with it, but I don't really use the multimedia functions. The multimedia buttons in particular feel kind of cheaply made, and the rest of the keyboard kind of does too, but I haven't had any problems with anything breaking so far. The extra space on my desk is absolutely great, though it took me a couple of days to get used to the size of the keys. Definitely a good buy if you're looking to conserve deskspace and don't need a full keyboard.
Poor manufacturing.......2007-04-20
I was very disappointed with the keyboard. I like the size but the quality of keys and response is very bad. I got a defective piece where the keys were just getting stuck. I am currently using a Microsoft keyboard but needed a smaller footprint to match the size of laptop keyboard.

Customer Reviews:
pretty, but not enough usability.......2007-12-15
I'm using this keyboard with a Windows machine. It's shiny and pretty which nice to look at, but unfortunately the drivers for it aren't so great. There aren't enough customization options for the keyboard. You can run custom macros off of 5 keys on either side of the keyboard, but you can't really change much else. The zoom button doesn't even work for anything other than windows picture viewer or adobe photoshop/illustrator. My friend has a wireless logitech keyboard Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000 Laser 967553-0403 and it allows him to do a lot more with his settings. He can zoom in on web pages, not just photos in picture viewer, and scroll down pages using knobs on the side of the keyboard. He can also choose to have changes like Mute, Volume Level, Caps On and Off displayed on the screen. You could write macros for the 10 customizable to keys to do most of these things, but for what you're paying, they really ought to have thought their drivers out enough that this shouldn't be an issue. Also, I can't get the line out jack to work.
Pros:
nice to type on
looks nice on a desk
interfaces with ipod
glows in blue, too sexy
cons:
takes 2 dedicated usb ports (though there are 2 on the keyboard itself; I have a laptop so for me this is annoying)
drivers only really let you pick a media player, and customize your 10 glowing custom keys on the right and left side of the keyboard
Gorgeous!.......2007-09-25
I am a designer and as such, I only buy and use beautiful, well designed products. Unfortunately, I work on the Windows platform so the beautifully designed gadgets of the Mac world are of no use to me.
That said, there are high quality products available for PC users who are willing to do their research. I choose this board over the Logitech diNovo Edge because the diNovo is wireless and doesn't even offer a number pad while costing $160.
Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this keyboard. It is composed of a variety of high quality plastics with glossy as well as flat finishes and a lit logo with several lit buttons. The low profile, high sensitivity keys make typing an absolute pleasure, and the keyboard has a ton of multimedia keys and programmable controls.
The software is not perfect, but that doesn't make this product an anomaly. I am not able to use the picture zoom or rotate functions, but so what? The bottom line is, this keyboard blows most of the rest out of the water and adds fun to even the most boring projects.
Very nice keyboard...Even on the Mac.......2007-05-11
I will admit that the start key is a disappointing, they could have put a Start/Apple logo on the key but overall this keyboard rocks on my Macbook Pro. The key feel is wonderful, the ipod integration and function keys on the left and the right work right out of the box and the cobalt blue backlighting on some of the keys is really cool. I have had a steady stream of folks coming in my office and asking where I got it. Go and buy yourself one, you won't regret it.
Not a Mac keyboard -- no command/apple key.......2007-04-30
Like the previous reviewer... I was quite disappointed by Razer on this one. For months they bragged to us about making the definitive BEST Mac keyboard. However, the first thing you notice after unboxing is the LACK of an Apple/Command button, and rather, a Windows "START" button.
Sure, you can go into your Mac's system preferences and change the key modifiers so that the Alt button on the keyboard acts as the command key and that the START button acts as the normal Alt/option mac key. But this is a pain for users like myself who connect this at home to their Macbook (Pro) and then during the day when they're portable, we have to set the settings back to the defaults.
Come on Razer, FIX THIS!
Note: This was the behavior with and without the Razer mac drivers. Razer acknowledges the only work around to be going into system preferences and changing the modifier defaults. However, this is not a good solution to users who then use the default Apple keyboard on their portables.
Not a "Mac" Keyboard.......2007-04-24
Razer Pro Solutions ProType Multimedia Keyboard
I just received this keyboard the other day directly from the manufacturer and when I opened the box I was a little disappointed. I opened it, and to my surprise it was not a mac style keyboard, it is windows based. The only thing that I can see on here that resembles the mac keyboard is the eject button (which shares the pause/break key) and the clear button (which shares the num lock key). They didn't even take the time to put the apple or option key on there (the alt and start key respectively). I happen to like the design of the mac keyboard, and would have preferred it to come in that style, especially since when I purchased the tarantula and found out that it was not compatible with the mac, but the protype would be. I was also surprised to find that they did not include replacement keys for us gamers, nor the tool to remove keys if you would like to, I think this would have been a great idea on their part to include the "mac" keys to replace the windows equivalents on the keyboard. I would imagine it can't be too difficult considering the keyboard looks almost identical to the Tarantula. Everything else about the keyboard is nice, I enjoy the responsiveness of the keys, and they are a good mesh of quietness and solid feel. I would have just preferred that the "mac" keyboard from razer be a of true mac design.
I feel like I should point out some of the good things about the keyboard now... First off, it's visually stunning, a good mix of style and function overall. The keys that light up don't seem to be too bothersome, although this could be annoying for some people, especially since you can't turn it off. I don't personally have an iPod so I don't really have an opinion about the iPod dock, although I'm sure some people will love this feature, although if you like to keep your keyboard in a tray that goes under the desktop it will make it unusable since it sits in the back of the keyboard and requires you put the iPod sticking up out of it. Also, this keyboard is about twice the size of the standard mac keyboard, which is a plus and a minus, it might be a bit too big for some, but I enjoy having the built in wrist rest.

backlight on led display.......2007-11-05
The led display is useless without a backlight. I need to know when caps lock is on or off at a glance. How to I find the backlight switch? Thanks, please send an email if you know the answer - customer service did not reply to my question (at Logitech). Thanks C.
Wireless feature only works very short range and causes the keyboard lag.......2007-05-09
Well, this is the first time in many Amazon purchases that I've had to write a negative review. I'm also surprised I'm writing about a Logitech product - I've always been happy with them, including my last wireless USB laser mouse (which I plan on keeping now!)
The keyboard lag and mouse lag are noticeable and I think the key may be in how close you are to the receiver. I was unable to get the unit to work at all over 8 feet away (distance from my big screen to the couch). I have to sit on the floor with the receiver pulled as far out of my entertainment center as it can go, so overall distance is now
<5 feet and it seems to work most of the time. The closer the better.
So if you are using this for getting rid of clutter on your computer desk its probably OK, but for my desired setup it isn't very convenient.
great.......2007-03-26
When Im rec this item and took it put of the box. I was happy with the looks of it. Then when I hooked it up to my comp I was surprised it was to use. Thanks to the software that came with it.
Good range and batteries life.......2007-03-14
It has been working without a hitch. The Function Lock is On by default. Bravo. I haven't tried the software yet. The batteries have been working for more than two months. Well, I admit that I use the computer for about three ours a day and don't play much games. The mouse response is good (at 5 meters).
Great cordless keyboard.......2007-02-24
This keyboard works well, has all the functions I was looking for and is easy to install.

It's a KEYBOARD,what do you want.......2007-03-25
It is a good serviceable, easy to use keyboard. It doesn't dance, it doesn't sing, it does keyboard stuff. It DOES have some good media keys, easy to figure out. And I hope I will never find out how "fluid-resistant" it is, but I probably will.........
nice.......2006-11-10
This is the perfect keyboard ( I know cuz I am typing on it right now ) I recommend if you like media boards.
I have to agree with the previous reviewer.......2006-08-24
The keys are too close together!! I like the media keys but the regular keys for typing are awful. I wish I had not gone with this one. I should have bought the HP Media Keyboard. Shallow keys and too close together make for lots of typos!! Good thing I only paid $14 for it, or I would have been more upset.
Great!.......2006-08-10
This keyboard is great. It has very comfortable typing positions, and the special function keys are also great!
Great keyboard.......2006-08-10
I really can't complain at all about it. The keys are easy to press, the media functionality works nicely. The only thing that's a pain is logitech's drivers aren't that great, but the default windows one work fine. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It is a keyboard.......2007-12-25
NOt a lot of fancy stuff, a few lights and some ok software. There are better gamer keyboards out there, get this if you don't want to spend more. Look for razor or logic.
Can't see letters in daylight.......2007-12-14
I bought this based on the pictures on the internet. However, none of the pictures I saw were apparently in conditions of bright daylight. Unfortunately, the letters are actually clear on a black background and I found them very hard to see during the day. At night the keyboard looks great but it really needs a dark environment to shine. I returned it....
