Great PCI card If you do not have an AGP slot.......2005-03-13
If your motherboard has a IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) and you do not have an AGP slot this card is great. Handles most any game I threw at it extremely well. Took a lot of pressure off of the Main CPU. I got this about a year ago, and have been very happy since. The Video out port is nice to watch DVDs on your TV. Or if you want to a video feed to your VCR.
There are not many high grade cards that are made for a regular PCI slot anymore. This is a great card for most moderate PC gamers or average computer users. Just make sure you do have good ventilation in your computer case as this card runs a little warm.

This video card has worked fine for me in my media center. It was easy to install, and it works with Windows Media Center wonderfully! The graphics are pretty good, but not amazing. I'm currently using the S-Video connected to an RF modulator which is connected to my TV. I've only used the VGA output once or twice (to set MCE up).
I would recommended it to a friend any day.

i have just bought a new dell pc with GeForce FX5200 128MB DDR and it workms quite well exept it only puts out black and white to my tv ,,and aparently its a manufacturers falt no any diferent please let me know. well pi**ed off .....

Just an honest review.......2006-08-16
I bought this card because of its memory size (128) to play games. It was affordable for me, and I needed a low profile for my slim desktop. It is decent. For a value grade consumer video card it works just fine. Not top of the line of course. Those are like 500 dollars.
This is ok for semi-graphic intensive games to just speed up a bit. You probably won't max out your graphics settings with this card, but it really beats integrated graphics by a lot.
I bought it for the sole purpose of playing Age of Empires III. My 64MB integrated graphics couldn't handle the game with the graphics settings all the way down. This card can go up to Medium (LOW MED HIGH VHIGH) but will get slightly choppy. At Low, the game runs incredibly smooth and even gives more detail than when I used my 64 card. It also cooled my computer's processor 2 C, since it has its own onboard the card.
Recommened for value users for low graphics games and a decent video card upgrade. If you're still using integrated graphics, this is a great upgrade.

It works pretty good, also I had some problems with games by EASports. Especially Fifa 2006 doesn't work smooth. But if You are looking for something not too expensive it's ok.

I bought this card for Media Center 2005 largely for it's price and it was on the MS partner list. DVI does not go through this card correctly and I thought I had a defective dvi port on the tv. I eventually borrowed a friend's ATI 9600XT and it worked perfectly. I kept this card too long before testing to return. AVOID this one (may be the brand)!

Warning: NOT fanless!.......2005-05-13
I was looking for a fanless graphics card for my HTPC. I saw this one, and on all the photos I could find (including those on eVGA's own website), they were all depicted as fanless. However, when I received this in the mail, there was a fan. All website photos of video cards are typically "reference photos".
So beware. I think in general, the 128-bit DDR (either 128MB or 256MB RAM) cards are likely to have fans; many 64-bit DDR graphics cards are fanless. Just shop around. For reference, I ended up getting a Chaintech SH5200-128-DVI.
