Not bad........2007-12-22
Great keyboard for the price. Has a nice high-quality feel, seems durable.
Lost a star because the software for it is weak. Doesn't allow for as much customization as I would like. But that's a small point.
Otherwise, it's just plug-n-play.
Excellent keyboard even if it cost twice as much.......2007-12-22
This is the only "ergonomic" keyboard I've ever used that didn't wear me out just trying to cope with it. The fact that it's also just about the cheapest keyboard I've seen just makes it a bigger bargain. While I would always recommend someone actually trying the keyboard in-person first, this is a very mild form of ergonomic design and for those not needing a wireless keyboard, I highly recommend this keyboard.
Inexpensive, good design, low quality.......2007-12-21
The slight curve design has alleviated a great deal of pain on my wrists and the shortcut keys are great for fast access to the email, web, etc.
This is my third MS Comfort Curve 2000 series keyboard. All the keys are designed very cheaply and will not take a great deal of repeated use, especially if you are heavy handed. The enter key on the two previous keyboards has been destroyed due to repeated use. The remaining keys do not receive the repeated pounding and have held up. Another downside is it will not work with a USB -> PS/2 adapter.
At the time, this was the only keyboard one the market that had the slight curve I desired and the main reason I purchased two after the original even with the inherent key design flaw. Recent research indicates Logitech has a similar keyboard that cost more, but may be more reliable. I will need to try it out.
Pros: Gently natural curve, inexpensive, good for light use
Cons: Keys will not take heavy handed or a great deal of usage (enter key); will not work with USB-PS/2 adapter.
My suggestion would to spend more money for a product from a different manufacturer that may be more reliable.
A great keyboard.......2007-11-30
I was using a bundled Del keyboard, but it was really awful in terms of quality. From every aspect, I am sure this keyboard will make you happy. Most ergonomics-designed keyboards are hard to use and make you spend some time on adapting yourself to them. But this one will free you from the burden. Easy to use and good quality. It's a good keyboard.
Affordable and Comfortable.......2007-11-21
Prior to owning this keyboard I was using a standard keyboard with no design modifications for ergonomics. For over a year I suffered from pain which I could only conclude was caused by typing so frequently as I tend to spend at least 14 hours a day in front of a computer whether work related or for personal use. After purchasing this keyboard I haven't had any further issues. As slight as the ergonomics of this keyboard are, they were quite enough to offset the unnatural posture required by my other keyboards. A solid keyboard at a cheap price and fully functionaly with Vista Ult. No complaints.

Keyboard .......2007-01-09
It was a little difficult to install. No drivers sent with product, had to manually do uninstall of current keyboard, then install the proper driver found at Microsoft. Downloaded the latest Intellipoint program.
Difficulty was having to use control panel, device manager, to get rid of the previous driver. If you leave the old keyboard plugged in to log on your computer, you can't necessarily just plug the new one in and go.
Good Keyboard........2006-09-09
When I bought this my main worry was that the curved layout of the keyboard would take some getting used to---it did not. My touch-typing was not affected by the layout.
The keyboard has a very nice feel which is a little heavier than the feel of the cheapy keyboards. While not silent it is very quiet (i.e., no annoying clicking).
The size of the keyboard is the same width of a typical PC keyboard though it is 1.5-2" deeper due to the panel of media keys above the function keys. The only media keys that look like they might be useful are the speaker control keys (louder, quieter and mute/unmute). There is also a tiny key above the numeric keypad which launchs the MS calculator (there is probably a way to get it to bring up other apps instead).
I hope that this keyboard will give me good service; the spill (and crumb?) resistant feature will probably help in that endeavor. I've had two other keyboards (a Belkin and an IBM) die on me in the past few years. If my feelings don't change after a few weeks of usage, I'll probably buy one for my Linux box as well. I'm at the keyboard all day so a good keyboard is a worthwhile investment.
