So far, so good.......2007-12-31
I purchased this product to use with my laptop when my laptop is plugged into my television. This way, I can watch movies from my laptop on the television or play computer games on the big screen.
I had a few moments of trouble setting up the mouse and keyboard, but quickly realized I had to first associate them with the base unit. Since then, everything has so far worked seamlessly and I'm quite happy.
Great set.......2007-12-29
The first time i received the keyboard, it was a wrong set. it was for Canadian/French set. i contact the company, they were very happy to send me a new one plus the fee sticker to ship back the old one.
The keyboard works great. Make sure there are nothing in the way of the receiver and the device or else you will loose connection during your usage.
It's compatible with Vista.
Excellent one .......2007-12-27
I got this for a good deal during thanks giving from amazon. It is really easy to use and ergonomic. But however the CD that came along with the product had some installation problems. I had to download the software from intelli software but that was easy again. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to live in a wireless world. :)
take care guys

Takes patience to use with Vista.......2007-12-26
I got this set for christmas and so far it has been a decent combo, although, getting it up and running in Vista Ultimate was a pain in the neck. Be sure to uninstall any previous keyboard/mouse drivers ahead of time or there are some conflicts that will prevent you from getting it installed right. I did manage to get it working, but whenever I restart my computer now I get an error code when windows boots.
Also, when I installed the drivers for the set, it made me uninstall Kensington MouseWorks which I use for my trackball which is unacceptable.
In all, you cant beat the price tag, but I would look somewhere else if your running Vista.
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 (3.0) Silver PS2/USB Mac/Win.......2007-12-25
I have found it to be slow to respond. Not all the hot keys deliver what they are they are supposed to. If I had this information prior to the purchase, I would not have bought it

Great product.......2007-12-03
It is a really good product, and I bought it because i cannot use the numbers in my laptop, it takes to too much time to do the type of work I do (putting numbers in excel). It is practical, small and do not need to install or anyting for it to work, just plug in your keyboard and your computer and that's it. I recommend it.
USB to PS/2 Adapter.......2007-12-01
Works great, much cheaper then a new keyboard. Has been two weeks with no problems.
It works!.......2007-11-29
I had no trouble with the product. I plugged it to my laptop USB port and hooked the PS2 keyboard to it. It works as it says without needing any software. I am happy with the purchase price with the function it provided.
universal remote.......2007-11-27
this remote was very easy to work with, Also worked with about everything eles i own,.
Does not work.......2007-11-21
I have a Kinesis ps/2 contoured keyboard, which is admittedly a little unusual, but another adapter I have works fine. This one does not work at all. At least it's cheap enough that trying didn't cost much.

that's excellent.......2007-12-23
Its very usefull, This article is excellent. It works very well and it is not necessary to lean it on anything, explore with the thumb.
Replacing Already.......2007-12-16
I am getting ready to send this back to Amazon or Fellowes. I have not even had it a month and I have a number of problems. At first it was great. But 2 weeks later it suddenly stopped moving right or moving down on the screen. Bad thing is there is no rhyme or reason, so it happenes at any time. The worst thing I have experienced is it will lock the page in a kind of automatic scroll down position. I cannot do anything on the page unless I use my touchpad or keypoard. Then the Fellowes magically unlocks and I can use it again. I'm bummed because there seem to be few of these on the market...maybe there is a reason. I hope the 2nd one works!!
Micro Mouse.......2007-11-24
The product works well, the ball is a little too loose but other than that no problems.
Great concept - not for Windows Vista.......2007-11-13
The specs don't say it's compatible with Vista but I wanted to try it anyway. It definately is not for Vista. I'm sending it back and trying something else. Lesson learned. It's still a great product though. I tried it on my work PC and it's really neat to use once you get used to the feel of it.
Still Looking..........2007-11-13
What I really liked about the hand held trackball is freedom to sit or stand anywhere(without a table top) to control my computer. I have been checking for other products like it and have only found this trackball. What I hate about this product is it becomes useless after a year or two. This is my fourth Fellowes trackball in about five years. If it wasn't for the short lifespan I would be happy with the product.
Maybe in a few years they may come out with a wireless model. Then I could get rid of the long extension cable that runs across my floor to the couch. If it wasn't for the price I probably wouldn't have bought more than a couple over the years. This is the only pointing device that I have found that I can sit on my couch and play computer games for hours without muscle fatigue in my arm or wrist.

Customer Reviews:
It didn't work for me, either.......2007-10-11
I should have paid more attention to the reviews as this didn't work for me, either. I got the same message, doesn't recognize usb. I don't know if there could be a driver for this. I don't think the product is necessarily defective, it just doesn't work with Windows XP.
Frustration.......2007-06-16
These PS2-USB "adapters" are the worst thing to ever come from mankind. Why? All they do is switch over wires to a different plug. They do not "magically" make ps2 products usb compatible or the other way around. Almost never in the product description is this told. Many people have bought these to be very disappointed that they don't work. On the other hand, if you know you have a compatible keyboard, they work well. Make sure your keyboard states it's compatible with usb-ps2 adapters before buying an adapter! The work of actually converting formats is done by the keyboard, not the "adapter".
Don't buy. Waste of money........2007-04-02
This product doesn't work. The manufacturer doesn't say that explicitly that it won't work with normal keyboards. Total loss of money.
REPLACEMENT adapter.......2006-09-25
The description here does not tell the whole story. The manufacturer's website states:
"This product is designed as a replacement adapter for keyboards that originally shipped with a PS/2 to USB converter. If your product did not ship with a converter, we suggest trying a USBPS2PC instead."
I believe this is why the other reviewers are complaining that the product doesn't work. I'm going to buy the "USBPS2PC", which I also found on Amazon (product number B00028OP2Y).
defective product.......2006-09-07
This item does not work. I bought it with 'lupoc' and after informing them that it did not work they were not very helpful in resolving this issue and their service was bad to put it mildly. Don't waste your time with this, it is a defective product.

Customer Reviews:
Awsome If you get a working one.......2007-12-14
This keyboard/controller combo works awsome if you can get one that actually works right. I have used these for years but have probably returned about 10 of them. They come defective, keys often type backwards and the controller buttons come stuck.
Great performance, poor quality.......2007-10-12
This Keyboard/Controller can't be beat when it come to ease of use and comfort. However this is my fourth one I have had to buy in three years due to the same flaw every time. The left Directional control keeps giving out in the X axis and makes the system believe you are always holding down, Until the plastic parts inside along the X axis break and you are no longer able to move fowards or backwards only left and right rendering the unit unusable. I am buying a fourth today since mine just gave out and I play FFXI, and I will proablly buy another in a year or so because there is nothing else out there like this and it's a nessecity if your playing a game that requires a combonation keyboard and controller. Hope this helps.
A must for online players!.......2007-06-13
My brother plays FFXI on th PS2 and almost REQUIRED this item (because it is such a great item!) and recently purchased one. I told him about all the bad reviews and how buttons are stuck ... but he bought it anyway. It was just as reviewed. Circle button stuck, mode button shuts off. But after you get past that the good points begin to stick out.
First off, the "broken" button works fine (as long as you aren't obsessive compulsive about the button clicking or pressing 'in'... a light tap works fine) and the mode button shutting off has something to do with the rumble function... but with such a big controller we didn't even want the rumble. After turning off the rumble or vibration function the mode button worked fine. I played .Hack//G.U. for half an hour with this controller to test it out and it works fine with these small tweeks. The keyboard (as previously reviewed) works wonderful and is the best part of this controller.
So considering this is a rare and no longer purchasable item, I would highly recommend it. The only people who won't enjoy this controller are those who are obsessive about the buttons and vibration function not working properly.
They're nice. . . while they're functional. . ........2007-05-31
I am an avid player of Final Fantasy XI, and this keyboard/controller is a very convenient tool. The keyboard works quite well, the controller part on the other hand. . .
I have had to replace three of these for the same reason; the analog sticks shut themselves off somehow, then you have to go and unplug and replug the controller cord in to fix the problem. This can be very bad when auto-running in Valkurm Dunes or any other dangerous area. >.>; That, and sometimes the analog sticks make you turn around and walk backward for no apparent reason, and it's hard to stop. I don't know how this happens to every one of my controllers, I am very gentle with them! >.
< I like these while the controller is working properly, but I do not like being forced to replace them every 6-8 months for the same irritating problems. . .
careful.......2007-05-25
we like the product however you might want to be careful where you get it from. ours was damaged when we received it. however, we were able to fix the problem.

Customer Reviews:
Googolboard Keyboard.......2007-12-29
Got this for my mother who has macular degeneration and trouble seeing. Also, bad arthritis in her fingers makes it difficult for her to use regular sized keyboards. This keyboard seemed to be just what she needed. It's well built and comes with plugs to work in just about any computer. Keys are easy for her to see. The wide key spacing works ok for her, but since she has touch typed all her life, she has some difficulty getting used to the key locations. For now she has to "hunt and peck".
Googolboard Ez Keyboard.......2007-07-12
Needed this keyboard due to dexterity issues. Does this trick just fine. The only thing that would be nice to have is some function keys.

Awesome in the right situation.......2007-06-16
This keyboard is a great product under the right conditions. For minimal typing or gaming, it works fine. Do not use if you type heavily and often. A touch typist will not like this keyboard as it has little tactile feedback and the buttons don't respond unless hit on the right angle. What I find this keyboard useful for is the magical festival where geeks get together and game: lan parties. In lan parties people bring their computers with others in groups to play video games and such. It's like a sleepover without the sleep and a higher electricity bill. This keyboard is easy to carry with you and folds up nicely into cargo pockets or a small carrying bag. The best part? It's impervious to spilled mountain dew. It is not my primary keyboard, only my portable one. If you like the cool factor of the keyboard and don't do heavy typing, this keyboard will be a good one. If you don't need a portable keyboard and type a lot, this keyboard will sit on your desk and mock you all day for buying it (you won't like it).
Great design, worthless product.......2006-11-10
The flexible floppy keyboard looks wonderful, supercool, but is worthless in use. About half the letters and spaces you type do not make it to the screen unless you really pound the keys. So you spend half as much time again going over your text correctong typo'.s Life is too short. with tears in my eyes I threw this gorgeous sexy keyboard out the window.
exactly as promised - but not ergonomic.......2006-11-03
This is a cute little bit of silliness that every techno geek will enjoy having. It works the same as any other keyboard and you can roll it up and stuff it in your backback!
One disadvantage is that it lies flat ~ probably inevitable ~ so for long stints it could be tough on the hands. Someone clever can probably come up with an angled stand that's portable.

Not pleased.......2007-11-11
This item cost a lot more than others I've tried, and does not work as well. It will not work with my KVM switch, though it works okay with a directly conneted keyboard and mouse. It certainly did not justify the price premium over the $6.00 BYTECC BT-2000 models I've purchased elsewhere. I have used several of the Bytecc models on our network and they performed flawlessly with KVM, direct connect keyboard and mouse, and with bar code scanners.
No More Mush Board.......2007-11-04
Works with my old IBM PS2 mechanical tactile click keyboard and my new Dell (We stamp our name on everything) Ispiron. The Ispiron came with a cheesy USB keyboard and no way to connect a PS2 device. It's good to have a real keyboard back and toss out that cheap mush board that came with the computer. Anyone know where I can get a real mechanical click keyboard with a USB interface?
Works for Dell Vostro.......2007-10-13
I bought this to connect a PS2 mouse and kbd to a new Dell Vostro 1000 Laptop, and was a little worried since there are many reports of USB/PS2 adapters that don't work on Dell. I've had zero problems with this - just plugged it in, connected the devices, and they work!
Must Have.......2007-09-13
This ps/2 to USB converter solved my problems when I hooked it up to my laptop. I haven't tested it with a KVM switch yet, but this is a must have when you don't want to use the trackpad or keyboard built into your laptop.
Works great, even through a KVM.......2007-05-15
I have been using one of this at my workplace for several months now. I use it to connect a USB only pc through a Linksys KVM switch. It has worked without a hitch. Just this past week, we bought another usb-ps/2 adapter, but the purchasing agent bought the model 27225 from Cables to go and that one does not work through a KVM. So we are going to buy another Trendnet adapter instead.

Customer Reviews:
Wish I would have gone to Kensington.......2007-06-24
I got this wireless keyboard for a Gateway laptop through Gateway while tyring to problem-solve a compatibility issue. The first one was defective so I exchanged it for another - and that one was defective, too! Both times it was the mouse. I tried to get Gateway to take it back and refund my money because it turned out not to help the compatibility issue and they refused. The keyboard, even though it worked, could not keep up to my typing, forcing me to slow down, go back, start over. Frustrating all around.
Please, if you're stuck with this unit, try what someone further down suggested, go right to Kensington. This is NOT a good product, but if you save your receipt, the box guarantees it for five years. I lost that option by thinking only Gateway could refund my money.
Mouse died an early death.......2007-01-11
My keyboard and mouse are right at 1 month old, and the mouse already died. So far the keyboard is doing fine with no problems, but the mouse is totally useless. I also really did miss my extra buttons on the mouse. Left and right click just aren't enough!
return to sender.......2006-12-17
this wireless keyboard does not stay connected to the RF transmitter; it loses its connection after a couple of minutes - be it at 2 feet or 2 inches distance. there is no discernable pattern, yet the problem is consistent enough to render the keyboard entirely useless.
on the positive side, kensington support was very helpful and replaced the keyboard with the 2.4GHz, flawlessly operating pilotboard 64390. don't buy this one, get the 64390 instead.
Great Mouse, Poor Keyboard.......2006-12-12
Note that I have used this on my Mac.
I don't use the keyboard anymore because the keys require too much pressure (or as one reviewer noted, it skips letters). It is incredibly frustrating to look at your work and see a dozen places where Word is telling me I have typos.
When I first got this, I exchanged it for a new one because I thought the keyboard was defective. Not so. The keyboard requires the finesse of a gorilla.
I really like the layout of the keyboard and the hot keys across the top. I especially like the keys for changing font between bold, italic, etc.
One note: the volume control knob changes the system volume, not the volume of iTunes alone. I'd prefer that the knob change only the volume of iTunes and not everything else.
The mouse is wonderful. I use it with my left hand and it is very comfortable. I was using it on my bare desk but I purchased a $3 laser mouse pad and it really improved the tracking.
Installation and set up were a breeze.
Great board.......2006-11-08
Nice board. I like the colors and the style and how the buttons push down.
