Mouse !.......2007-12-26
Bought this mouse a couple of days ago.
Well sensetivity is pretty poor, not realy a gaming mouse.
If ur playing games in which you need precise chrosair, like Counter-Strinke, TF2 etc..u should get something else.
Guality of the mouse is good, its shiny and all that.
My rating would be something like 1.5-3
Simple Design, but great overall feel.......2007-12-23
It's a pretty basic mouse, but it's one of the best I've used. The bluetooth works well and had no issues connecting with my computer. It's well designed and ergonomically comfortable despite seeming a bit small, and I have large hands. Comes with a travel bag that is, again rather basic, but very practical. I usually find laser mice to be oversensitive, but this mouse is well balanced in terms of accuracy and sensitivity. No unique features here, but if you looking for a basic, good quality, stylish, bluetooth mouse for your laptop, or even a desktop, this is it.
Great Mouse!.......2007-12-21
I am using the Logitech V470 with a MacBook Pro and it's awesome. It works really well, and feels solid. The software doesn't take over the machine like some other companies Intellimouse ;) software. I have large hands, but this mouse fits great and is very comfortable. I also run Windows in Parallels and its great on that side of the world.
Awesome mouse!
It works.......2007-12-13
Purchased for iMac as a replacement for the bluetooth Mighty Mouse, since the MM scroll button stops working after a while, and I have to pry it apart to clean it. This is a more than adequate substitution, the wheel tilts to the right or left, allowing horizontal scrolling in Photoshop, etc. This might be hard on larger hands, as it's a small mouse, only 4 inches (10 cm) long and 2.35 inches (5 cm) wide. It is symmetrical, will work easily with either hand. I notice that as it wakes or sleeps, it interrupts the sleep cycle of my computer, something that I wouldn't notice if I chose a later time to sleep my computer. Sleep is not user settable with the software that comes with it. Wakes from reserve quickly. Crisp action.
Great mouse.......2007-12-12
I was a little hesitant about this mouse after reading that it is on the same frequency as my wireless home network, but am glad I decided to try it. I am happy to report after using it for a few weeks now that I have had no noticeable problems using this either at home or at school where there is a wireless network as well. The setup was easy, the mouse works as advertised, and because it is bluetooth I don't need to have a key sticking out of my laptop to use it. I recommend getting yourself 4 rechargeable AA's, one set to use and one to use while charging, so you don't have to keep buying batteries.

Great Bluetooth Mouse.......2007-12-30
I bought this mouse about a month ago for my new laptop. It was very easy to setup and start using. I love the Bluetooth feature since I don't have any receivers protruding from my laptop. Overall, this is a great mouse.
Perfect for my notebook.......2007-12-29
This mouse replaces the corded one that came with my ASUS laptop. The new mouse fits the hand well and is lighter than I thought since it has two AA batteries. There is no lag when moving from a stationary position. It is very sensitive and I use it on my leg or chest with no problem. Well worth the price. I never turn it off and the batteries have not been replaced yet.
Wonderful little mouse.......2007-12-29
This will be short and sweet. This mouse is fantastic. The build quality is top notch, with the materials being smooth and sturdy. The scroll wheel is smooth, but not loose, and the top shell is perfect. It also is light and small, but isn't too small for big hands like some notebook mice, and has a solid weight to it, while still being light.
The Bluetooth works seamlessly with my MacBook Pro, running Leopard, and the battery life is good. The Laser tracking is spot on, with no jumping around. The best part is that there is no little dongle that takes up a USB port.
If you want a good wireless mouse, stop looking and buy this one. I guess the best thing I can say about it is that it makes me want to use my mouse more and more.
Very Good Product.......2007-12-22
Worked perfectly with my Vista laptop. I don't notice any lag at all when using the mouse, and works on every surface I've tried so far. It's a laptop mouse, not full-size, so it takes a little getting used to if you are coming from a desktop mouse.
great feel, great look, awesome mouse.......2007-12-22
Awesome mouse that fits right in your hand. The material feels solid and not "sticky" or "plasticky" Since its got the bluetooth, the main reason I bought it, one doesn't have to mess around with the usb plug-in reciever. Great response time. All-around solid mouse.

So far, so good.......2007-12-31
I purchased this product to use with my laptop when my laptop is plugged into my television. This way, I can watch movies from my laptop on the television or play computer games on the big screen.
I had a few moments of trouble setting up the mouse and keyboard, but quickly realized I had to first associate them with the base unit. Since then, everything has so far worked seamlessly and I'm quite happy.
Great set.......2007-12-29
The first time i received the keyboard, it was a wrong set. it was for Canadian/French set. i contact the company, they were very happy to send me a new one plus the fee sticker to ship back the old one.
The keyboard works great. Make sure there are nothing in the way of the receiver and the device or else you will loose connection during your usage.
It's compatible with Vista.
Excellent one .......2007-12-27
I got this for a good deal during thanks giving from amazon. It is really easy to use and ergonomic. But however the CD that came along with the product had some installation problems. I had to download the software from intelli software but that was easy again. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to live in a wireless world. :)
take care guys

Takes patience to use with Vista.......2007-12-26
I got this set for christmas and so far it has been a decent combo, although, getting it up and running in Vista Ultimate was a pain in the neck. Be sure to uninstall any previous keyboard/mouse drivers ahead of time or there are some conflicts that will prevent you from getting it installed right. I did manage to get it working, but whenever I restart my computer now I get an error code when windows boots.
Also, when I installed the drivers for the set, it made me uninstall Kensington MouseWorks which I use for my trackball which is unacceptable.
In all, you cant beat the price tag, but I would look somewhere else if your running Vista.
Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 4000 (3.0) Silver PS2/USB Mac/Win.......2007-12-25
I have found it to be slow to respond. Not all the hot keys deliver what they are they are supposed to. If I had this information prior to the purchase, I would not have bought it

Great!.......2007-12-22
I ordered this product for someone else & they love it! Battery usage is low & product works great.
Won't Work Beyond 6 Feet.......2007-12-18
I bought this keyboard to use with my home theater pc. At first I thought it didn't work at all then, by chance, I was using it standing near the PC and it worked. After calling tech support I confirmed that this uses the 27 MHz band which gives you a max distance from the receiver of 6 feet.
I carefully searched the product info on the logitech web site and nowhere does it mention this limitation
It's one thing to sell a product that has a certain limitation. It's another thing all together to do so without telling you about it.
Love it.......2007-11-06
I took a chance and purchased this product with no review available. And, I love it! Keyboard is light, keys on the keyboard are spaced slightly so there is no accidental hitting of the wrong key, and mouse is comfortable. I would 100% recommend.

Great but..........2007-12-19
CONS: Bluetooth receiver broke clean in half while attached to laptop (bent like a stick of gum!)! Most likely due to placing it in laptop bag with receiver still attached.
PROS: Excellent battery life, range, optical performance/response, ergonomics, size, style, value.
BOTTOM LINE: Always *stow* your receiver while you travel *inside* the mouse! Don't leave connected to USB port on computer!
A great little mouse.......2007-12-08
I bought this mouse for my wife. It is very neat and trouble free. She doesn't always remember to shut it off - but the batteries are still going strong after several weeks.
It works for me.......2007-12-03
This mouse works Ok for me. It is easy to handle and the functions are what I expected from description, besides is light and has a good price. I bought a tiny bag to carry on.
Love it - bought two........2007-11-21
I was very happy with this mouse. Small but works great.
I bought one for my desktop and another for my laptop.
Reasonable price on Amazon. Love the onboard storage
for the USB transmitter and it's small size. Works much
better than the laser mouse I use at work. Would highly
recommend.
No replacement parts from Logitech.......2007-11-08
I bought this mouse for my daughter. She lost the little transmitter. Logitech doesn't carry/sell replacements, so the mouse is useless. I call this poor customer/technical support.

Customer Reviews:
Good little mouse.......2007-12-31
Fits the bill for me perfectly. I have smallish hands and prefer to use a laptop mouse with my desktop computer. I am not crazy about the silver and black color scheme, but that's superficial. Another superficial oddity, there's no red light beam on the underside of the mouse, a new technology? Maybe this will help with battery life, if I get six months as advertised on a single alkaline AA, I'll be quite happy.
I noticed that the mouse is easy to control, is smooth and responsive, has a nice click. It has no start up delay: my old bluetooth wireless mouse would lag for a second or two on first movement after a period of inactivity. This mouse doesn't do that, a welcome improvement. The included software is a mix of mildly useful and unnecessary features.
I trust Microsoft's name with hardware, they have long made fine mice and keyboards. I also know through experience that they stand behind their manufactured products, and I chose this particular mouse because it came with a 3 year warranty.
Overall, a great mouse. I spend a lot of time behind a computer, for work and recreation, so having comfortable ergonomics is important to me.
limited range.......2007-12-30
The mouse is comfortable enough, but I have found the range to be quite limited. The manual says about one meter, I found it to be more like one foot. Any further than that and you start to lose clickes and responsiveness.
The magnifyer is not very good either. It takes a few moments to load and is grainy and not very adjustable - there are better 3rd party free downloads out there. (I think MS Powertools has a better one)
I would pass if I were buying this again. Look for something with more range.
Microsoft's best (non-bluetooth) wireless notebook mouse to date.......2007-12-19
This is my third MS wireless notebook mouse (see my uploaded product images). I also have the optical 3000 (original version with the 2 piece adjustable USB receiver that rotates - a design flaw in my opinion, as I will explain), and the laser 6000. I will briefly go over the differences between the three models.
Disclaimer: I am not a gamer; I use my laptop primarily for web browsing and office apps. I also have not installed the Microsoft drivers as I didn't want to interfere with the trackpad & trackpoint functionality on my laptop, so I cannot comment on the software or extra features that are available with the 4-way scroll wheel and additional buttons (on the 6000 and 7000).
The 3000 was a great wireless notebook mouse for its time, with long battery life, good ergonomics (for a portable mouse), and decent accuracy. After two years of use, it still works fine except the left and right buttons sometimes fail to register on light clicks, and require repeated forceful clicks to be acknowledged. The only other problem I have is with the 2 piece "J" shaped USB receiver design. While it seems like a good idea to be able to rotate the receiver for optimal reception, the design makes the receiver just flexible enough that it doesn't always stay put when snapped into the bottom of the mouse. It often becomes loose enough so that it stops engaging the "off" switch at the bottom of the mouse, causing the mouse to turn on and waste precious battery life. (Note: Microsoft later came out with a design revision that changed the USB receiver to a single fixed piece like in the 6000.)
Due to the problem with the USB receiver on the 3000, I relegated it to home use only and purchased the 6000 over a year ago to carry around with me. It adds: laser tracking, horizontal scrolling capabilities with the 4-way (now smooth) scroll wheel, and a (tiny) additional button on the left side of the mouse. However I felt that there was a reduction in ergonomics due to the flatter profile of the mouse, and the larger scroll wheel housing forces my fingers to spread apart more, resulting in a less comfortable feel. I was extremely impressed with the improved laser tracking though, so much so that I also upgraded my desktop mouse to a laser model. It's just much more sensitive than the LED optical pickup, and requires less movement to drag the pointer across the screen while retaining pinpoint accuracy.
I recently purchased the 7000 to replace the dying 3000, and it is an improvement over the 6000 in terms of ergonomics. It is slightly longer than the 3000 and 6000 (but has a smaller USB receiver than comes with either), and the scroll wheel housing takes minimal space now, so it feels better in my hand because I don't have to spread my fingers apart as much, and there is more surface area to rest my palm on.
The 7000 also adds a new right side button, and both side buttons are integrated into the smooth curve of the mouse making them easier to click than the tiny left side-only button on the 6000. There is a battery indicator light on the mouse now, which illuminates briefly after the USB receiver is detached from the mouse. In addition, the LED on the USB receiver now lights up whenever it detects motion from the mouse (it remained on constantly in the 6000). The 7000 retains the other great features of the 6000, making it a winning design in my opinion.
If you're a light mouse user, any of Microsoft's wireless notebook mice products will work fine for you. If you are a heavy mouse user though, you will appreciate the slight refinements Microsoft has added in the 7000.
P.S., Microsoft touts the 2.4GHz frequency of this mouse as an advantage over the older 27MHz technology, but it's probably more of a gimmick than anything as I've never had range problems with this or the older wireless mice. The good news is that this mouse doesn't appear to interfere with other 2.4GHz wireless devices in my house, and it works fine even though the USB receiver is on the other side of my laptop. I'm also running a Microsoft wireless laser desktop 6000 on my PC, an 802.11 router in my office, and various 2.4GHz/5.8GHz/DECT cordless phones throughout my house. I have yet to experience any sort of connectivity or interference issues with my wired and wireless electronics.

Good choise.......2007-10-22
It is really effective that the batteries can be recharged inside the mouse. It has an ideal size for me and it has a nice design.
Just what I was looking for.......2007-08-17
I tried several versions from cheaper clearance stores and none worked. Paying a couple of extra dollars was well worth it.
the best ever.......2007-04-14
the best mouse i ever had, i works fine, and i love the recharge option, it works as a wired mouse while charges, so you never need to put it away and wait until charged.
Small enough to fit on a pocket but big enough no to be inconfortable to use it.
Its a true traveler mouse. Buy it, you dont be disappointed.
Travel Mouse.......2007-03-23
I really like this little mouse. It's been very handy to have. The "release" for the Storeaway is a little too sensitive. I'm always finding the storeaway released and the mouse is on while in my bag! :(
Bad scroll botton.......2006-02-24
It is a bad copy of the BenQ mouse. The unique good feature is that it is rechargable with any USB port of your PC. But the scroll allways is scrolling bad.

Does everything i need it to do.......2007-12-26
This wireless keyboard works perfectly. It also has a very long range upwards of 20 feet, which is useful for people using a tv as a monitor.
Great Keyboard.......2007-09-09
I needed this keyboard to type messages on the Wii. It does exactly what I need it to do.
Wireless keyboard.......2007-01-12
I received the Fellowes wireless keyboard today. Set-up is a breeze. I love all the multifunction keys. I have been searching for a wireless keyboard for a long time. What a delight to find this one. It serves all my needs very nicely.
great for cut-copy-paste.......2007-01-10
I do a lot of work on the computer that involves a lot of cut, copy and pasting between documents.
I recently bought a new computer. My old one was an e-machines. The old e-machines came with a non wireless keyboard that had 3 cut, copy, and paste buttons on the left side of the keyboard. I have found them invaluable in the tedious copy-paste operations I do in my every day work.
I was extremely disappointed to find that the e-machines keyboard buttons didn't work on the new computer, despite installing the proper drivers. I went searching for a replacement keyboard of any type or brand that had cut-copy-paste buttons anywhere on the keyboard. That is very hard to find for some strange reason.
Imagine my surprise and delight when I came across this keyboard. It has EXACTLY the same configuration as the old keyboard. It looks exactly the same in every way except it is wireless. I'm sure it must have been manufactured by the same company e-machines used.
The new keyboard works great. If you do a lot of copy and paste, this is the keyboard for you!

Nice Mouse.......2007-06-21
I have used a few wireless mice in the past and I like the feel of this one much more then others I have tried. The only complaint I would have would be the short battery life.
Excellent Apple Replacement Mouse.......2005-04-20
As the owner of an iMac G5, I found a need to replace the keyboard and mouse that came with the machine - and this is the mouse I've finally settled on - and it's perfect.
In the past week I've tried out the Logitech Cordless Duo Mouse, the Kensington Wireless Optical Desktop mouse (both part of a keyboard/mouse package) as well as the optical Macally iceMouse, and I wasn't please with either of them - primarily from an ergonomic standpoint.
But after orienting myself to how I would work with my machine at home, I realized I didn't have a need for a wireless keyboard, but a wireless mouse would be a huge benefit. So I returned the iceMouse and purchased the RFMouse, and it's awesome!
Here is a quick run down:
[PROS]
1. Excellent ergonomic design - extremely comfortable to hold.
2. 3-buttons and a scroll wheel, which is all I need.
3. Wireless w/ rechargeable (4) batteries included.
4. Battery charger located in the receiver, which is a nice bonus.
5. Color coordinates with the iMac.
6. Very smooth scroll wheel, with great tactile response.
7. Power switch ON the mouse so you can reduce battery consumption - brilliant!
[CONS]
1. Scroll wheel seems to sit a little higher up toward the hand than the previous mice I've tested - definitely easy to get used to, it just means moving your finger up a little more to scroll and click.
2. That's it!
It's a great compliment to the Macally ICEKey Keyboard, which as a combination is a perfect replacement for the stock Apple products. Granted, everyone has their own preference when it comes to mice, but after testing out 3 mice that appear to be the leaders that cater to the Mac line of computers, the Macally RFMouse is stellar.
Enjoy!
P.S. To the reviewer who gave the product 1 star because it is right-hand biased - how is that review suppose to help anybody? the majority of mice on the market are for right-handed people - and it's been my experience that if a mouse is left-hand oriented, THAT is printed on the packaging - I think most people assume it to be right-handed.
Lefties are left out.......2004-07-22
Although nothing from MacAlly tells you this (neither their web site nor the photo nor the packaging), this is a right-handed mouse, which makes it useless for me.

Customer Reviews:
Keyboard is barely acceptable, the mouse is horrible........2007-10-16
I actually got this product because I was attempting to use up some store credit at Best Buy and thought that a wireless keyboard and mouse would be nice to have. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more wrong.
The keyboard is acceptable for day navigating your machine and surfing the web, but the rate of dropped key-presses makes it unusable for writing out anything lengthy, and coding becomes an impossibility.
To give this a little perspective, when using a wired keyboard to code I have about one mistake every 30 lines, with this wireless keyboard I had a mistake or two on each line.
The mouse is even worse, it eats through batteries like there's no tomorrow, doesn't have more than 3 feet of range, and doesn't track properly on most surfaces.
I would stay away from this product at all costs, even though it has come down in price by almost $40 it is not worth it.
Disappointing.......2007-08-22
I bought this keyboard after killing my Apple Keyboard by spilling coffee in it. I needed a keyboard desperately and pulled into a CompUSA going out of business. The keyboard appealed to me with the wireless capability and the Mac compatible design. I'm experiencing batteries that die quickly, a hub that doesn't light up to indicate low battery warning, missed keystrokes, keystroke lag, keys that are starting to fade after only 2 months, an eject key that opens and closes the CD carriage simultaneously, no support response from Kensington after two emails, and compared to Apple's designs--a rather gaudy design when you really look at it. It looks more like a white Windows XP design by it's standards (very subjective comment there). I don't use the mouse as I already have a Logitec MX Laser. I should have given it a 1 star rating but I am still using it until I buy a new Apple keyboard, and it is functional. Avoid this keyboard!
On my fourth, awful product, great warranty.......2007-05-09
The wireless range is quite poor. Range is improved somewhat by 'pointing' the dome of the receiver right at the mouse, e.g. velcroed to the bottom of your display. The keyboard and/or mouse just flake out after a few months.
We haven't had trouble with the driver in Panther and Tiger, the volume and itunes controls work fine, when the stuff works at all.
The one saving grace is Kensington's excellent warranty service. The system has a five year warranty. The 800 number gets you to a human pretty quickly. Tell them your troubles, your serial #, your address, guess at the purchase date, and a week later a whole new kit arrives. The new ones work fairly well for a few months, then start dropping key and mouse strokes. I do wish they would actually take the dead ones back for postmortems, maybe they'd learn to make reliable gear.
It's junk.......2007-04-10
Doesn't work right... It takes forever to get it to connect to the receiver, then when it finally connects, half the keys don't work. I'm not talking about the extra function keys, half the alphabetical keys don't work. S, B, T most of them don't work. Waste of money.
Not worth the savings!!!.......2007-03-27
I bought this to use as a secondary keyboard and mouse at home to use with my MacBook Pro. I have the Apple Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard at work, they are fantastic!!!
For starters I had lots fo trouble getting the software to work, maybe it was an Intel issues but for what ever reason it took a while and several tries at downloading from the Kensington web site to get it to work. Then after a few days the Mouse stopped working. So I started bringing home my Apple Bluetooth mouse, not a big deal it's small enough to bring home everyday, but it is a pain. Now today only about three weeks after I bought it the keyboard stopped working, I changed the batteries but still nothing, restarted, still nothing.
It's not worth the money you save, go with the Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse from Apple, they are well worth it!!! I may try the Logitech Keyboard and Mouse set but it's till RF not Bluetooth, I don't know why manufacturers are not making more Bluetooth sets rather than RF.
