Customer Reviews:
The Most Expensive Keyboard you'll ever own.......2007-12-31
If you are looking for the best looking keyboard on the market then look no further. The diNovo Edge is like the overprice Mercedes you've always wanted. With regards to its performance it's the most functional and balanced keyboard I've ever used. Like your over priced Mercedes you get a well built slim line keyboard. No need to replace batteries, as the batteries are integrated into the keyboard. The charger is very good. I've run my keyboard for over two months before I needed to recharge it. The tactile feel of the keys are comfortable and the touch pad on the right provides convenience if your using your keyboard in a living room configuration where a flat surface is not always available for a mouse. The docking station used to recharge the keyboard is great if you have room on a non-cluttered desk but for those people who love clutter it makes for a challenge to charge your keyboard.
Very Good Experience even with a MAC.......2007-12-30
I have a MAc Mini connected to my LCD and was looking for an integrated keyboard and mouse that would look great in my living room.
The Dinovo Edge was the perfect match.
Leopard identified the keyboard and installation was a breeze. The mouse and keyboard worked straight away. I had to customise the shortcuts which was very easy using:
http://5thirtyone.com/archives/751
The only drawback I saw was that the mouse could be a little difficult to use (small touch area) Other than that, it is excellent.
Elegant Keyboard.......2007-12-20
Has everything you expect from a keyboard, but has so much more. As soon as you start to type, you feel and hear the difference. The look is very elegant. A little costly, but worth it, imho.
Slim and stylish.......2007-12-18
This takes up very little space, is almost preternaturally thin, and runs for well over a month before it has to be dropped back into its included charger base.
I especially like the little touch pad, which can be used to control the mouse in a pinch (a real mouse is, in my opinion, still necessary).
The action of the keys is that of a short-throw, high-end laptop, like a Thinkpad. I love this, and I can really type quickly with it. If you like something that feels like an older electric typewriter with big keys that move a lot before registering a hit, this is not the product for you. The key action is light, but has tactile feedback. One of the best in the market right now.
When I first got it, I connected it using my existing Bluetooth adapter, and it worked fine but wasn't recognized until Windows came up and loaded the drivers. This is a problem for making changes in the BIOS and other things that happen before Windows is running. It may not happen often, but it is necessary from time to time. The solution is to use the included dongle instead. It connects to the keyboard by itself, without drivers, and makes it look like a standard USB keyboard before Windows is up. Now that I've switched to that, it works just like it was wired.
very nice keyboard.......2007-12-08
I took a chance buying this pricey keyboard but I've been very satisfied with it. The look and feel are great. The key layout is very well thought out, with buttons like mute and mouse-click in all the right places. The only downside is the touchpad, which is so small and cramped -- not much larger than a postage stamp -- as to be rendered useless. Instead of the touchpad, I use an external ergonomic mouse (the joystick mouse made by 3M). Overall, though, I am very pleased with the keyboard and recommend it to others.

Customer Reviews:
Space bar only works sometimes. Customer service sucks.......2007-12-20
I purchased this keyboard/mouse combo in Aug of 2007. I like the look and feel of it, however almost immediatly I started having problems with the spacebar not responding. Unless you press hard on the middle of the spacebar it will not leave a space. I have read many others have had the same problem.
I called Logitech customer service. (I could not find a toll-free number so it was on my dime) The man I spoke with was nice, but the first solution he had for me was for me to send my keyboard to logitech first and then they would send me a replacement one in 4 to 8 weeks. I told him that was unacceptabble as I dont have another keayboard to useuntill the replacement one arrived. He then told me if I have my proof of purchase(I got it here on amazon so I could print one) I could fax it in to logitech and they would send me a replacement one in 4 to 8 weeks.
It took some time to set it up.......2007-12-06
It was love in first sight. I give it a perfect score by the appeal and feel of the keyboard and mouse. However, it took me some time to set the keyboard and mouse up. I didn't use the software that came out of the box, instead I downloaded the latest software from the Logitech website. At first the bluetooth receiver only picked up the keyboard and the mediapad and had a hard time finding the mouse. Finally, about an hour or so, the receiver picked up the mouse and everything worked perfectly. There was no delay and cons like how the others reviewed it. However, the next day I downloaded the updated software and had to do the entire process again. This time I had a harder time because the receiver couldn't find all three hardwares! It took me about a day to figure out what was the problem. The problem was the hub. All you have to do is turn off the hub with the software Logitech gives you and the receiver will find all three hardware instantly . After 2 days of hard work, I can say that I am happy with my purchase. So the hard part is just setting it up. As for some of the bad reviews on this product, it's just the problem of setting it up.
Excellent Mouse.......2007-11-07
I have literally used this mouse every day for work and play for about two years since it first came out. I have barely used the keyboard it sits in storage so i wont comment on that.
Bluetooth: I havent had any problems with the bluetooth on the mouse. I dont use the provided USB BT becuase it just connects straight to my laptop's internal bluetooth and unlike other bluetooth mice this doesnt lag much when it comes back from power saving mode its available very quickly.
Construction: Extremely durable. I have thrown, dropped, kicked, scuffed and abused this mouse for a long time and it still works perfectly and is in good condition. I have had to replace the plastic slide pads undernearth a few times now because ive had it for so long.
Software: I dont use the provided logitech software at all, its only useful for the extra mouse button configuration but the mouse runs fine without it.
Battery: The strong internal battery combined with their power saving system is absolutely awesome. Mine usually lasts about a week of solid use before i have to recharge it. And the battery indicator on top of the mouse is relaiable and linear. By that i mean it wont say its full then half an hour later die. Most of the time you still have half a dozen hours of use left when its on its lowest indicator level. Takes a couple hours to fully charge.
Accuracy: The tracking is precise you can definately use this mouse for fast paced gaming or design applications. I havent had any tracking or accuracy issues.
Feel: I have your average large male sized hands and I find it very comforatble and it has a good weight to it. It has sufficient ergonomics to 'rest' comfortably but enough grippy pieces to allow for detailed movement.
Pros: Strong/Sturdy, Confortable, Reliable, Accurate, Great Battery, Quick Recharge, Great Bluetooth
Cons: Expensive.
very pleased .......2007-10-24
I was kind of nervous after reading some mixed reviews about this keyboard but it has worked flawlessly for me so far and this is on a 5 year old compaq laptop with XP. the battery life on the mouse and keyboard seem good (coming from a college student who is either at the computer doing homework, at the computer sitting online, even if for most of the day the mouse hasn't died on me yet. the range is great. and i just plugged everything in once i got it and it worked just fine. the main reason i bought this was because of the media pad/number pad i got sick of trying to work in excel with the single row of numbers on my laptops keyboard. the media pad was kind of awkward at first not being attached to the keyboard but i have frown to like it. not too mention the keyboard and mouse look pretty cool too. I would definitely recommend this keyboard. and being the poor college student i am i just bought it refurbished for about half the price of a new one and it looks new and works like new.

The diNovo also turns the PC into a Bluetooth control center, letting users synchronize data between their Bluetooth PDAs, cell phones, other devices, and their PCs. Communicate instantly using your Bluetooth headset, or easily exchange data between your PC and your Bluetooth PDA, cell phone, and printer. Thanks to the power of Bluetooth, you can do it all without wires.
But what is Bluetooth, anyway?
Bluetooth is a standard wireless technology aimed at allowing users to make effortless, fast connections between various devices, such as mobile devices and computers. The sophisticated mode of transmission ensures protection from interference and increased data security and offers greater wireless range. Your Bluetooth devices by Logitech will work up to 30 feet away from the included Bluetooth wireless hub.

Customer Reviews:
Great...BUT Does NOT work as Advertised with Vista.......2007-12-03
This is a great keyboard and mouse combo, but if you have Vista the Bluetooth hub only works for the keyboard and mouse, it will not work to sync your cell phone, working with headsets, etc.
Probably way overpriced for just a standard wireless keyboard and mouse. While I like it, I wish it would work as advertised with Vista.
If you have XP you are fine and it will work, but Vista kills the additional bluetooth functionality.
Good Feel Is the Only Plus For This Expensive Device.......2007-11-12
I have owned a diNovo media center for about a year. Here is my opinion.
Good:
*Excellent tactical feel.
*Assignable keys.
BAD:
*Frequent pairing errors and lost network.
*Very short battery life on the Media Pad.
*Media Pad does is different height (no kick stand).
*Can't read function key numbers.
Bloated buggy software.......2007-07-22
64MB of software, constant checks for updates, items in my system tray - just for a keyboard and mouse? Ridiculous.
I kept this keyboard/mouse going for about a year on a home theater PC, but am retiring it now. It was nothing but trouble - constantly losing contact after sleep or reboots, requiring lots of fiddling with Windows and Logitech configuration interfaces. An additional wired mouse, at least, is required to maintain your system.
I don't know if it's a Microsoft or Logitech problem, but I'll avoid buying new Bluetooth gizmos from now on. I replaced this with a non-Bluetooth RF keyboard/trackball combo that I love.
Also, the separate keypad eats batteries much too quickly
Now, I'm just trying to salvage the Bluetooth USB dongle for use with another Bluetooth device I foolishly bought, but I don't want the huge Logitech install just for that. Wish me luck.
Not bad at all.......2007-05-09
I haven't experienced many problems with this setup at all. I'm gone from home all day but when i get back its just any random keystroke and my bluetooth is back online. I've had it for several months and only had to change the batteries once. The mouse lasted significantly long before it needed to be recharge. My only issue is its intermittent ability to function before the OS loads.
Awesome & Easy to Setup - Best Keyboard Yet.......2007-04-13
This is perfect (so far) and exactly what I needed. I have been looking for a new keyboard to work with my desktop, which sits right next to mu Polycom Conference Phone. I have been looking for something that was silent and took up less desktop space. I work out of a home office when I am not on the road so I need something that works. I spend a lot of time on the phone, so I want to be able to type without everyone on the call knowing it. Perfect. Setup took about 15 minutes with absolutely no hitches and no issues - the first time that has happened for me with a LogiTech prouct. I had read these reviews and was prepared for a grueling install, but instead it happened so quickly I was right back to work fully functional.
I use my HP Media Center as the base PC for my office and printers - the workhouse of my office, but I have a ThinkPad X60 Tablet in a docking station. I connect from the Media Center to the ThinkPad using remote computing and it works like a champ new keyboard, mouse, keypad and all.
This is a great keyboard, mouse, and numeric keypad combination. We will see how long the batteries last, but so far so good. A++
