I got the bluetooth adapter and mouse for a great price. I was concerned since the cost for both was less than the mouse alone at other sites. I use it with an old laptop attached to a big tv in the family room. Very happy with the purchase and performance.

The mouse worked well with my chipset, but beaware that earlier bluetooth chipsets do not have the power to work with this mouse, although the dongle that is bundled with this is excellent.
The mouse was very difficult to use and unresponsive at times, requiring multiple clicks to choose items. It was sluggish across the screen and very insensitive, even after maxing out all the mouse settings in either direction.
Looking through the forums at Anycom informed me that many people had a similar problem and RMA's were being issued. Considering that these problems arose earlier last year, I was upset that I was sold a defective product. I just send my mouse back to Newport, California for a replacement.
The features are solid, the size is acceptable but prone to cramping at first. For a travel mouse it is exceptional, being rechargeable via USB. Usuage with the USB cable attatched is OK but somewhat awkward as the cable comes from the "head" of the mouse, not the "tail."
Would I buy again? only if I didn't find another product that was rechargeable, bluetooth and optical.
Small, precise and reliable mouse.......2006-03-16
This mouse is great to carry with your notebook computer. I have a G4 Titanium running Tiger and this mouse works well in OSX.
1- It comes with a small black pouch with two compartments were the mouse, the BT dongle and the charger can be transported without loosing them. This is a good thing since all of the items are small.
2- It has good reception, I have used this mouse as a remote to run a presentation 4Mt. away from my computer without any problem.
3- Very precise - 800 DPI- very quiet.
4- Nice design, good construction. It is not a flimsy product. it has an on-off switch
5- It may be too small for some people. I believe is a great design, very comfortable.
6- The BT dongle is great, it is very small. For instance the microsoft's mouse and BT dongle are big.

I've never written a review, but I've relied heavily upon the voluntary opinions of other Amazon buyers, so I felt a really good product like the Anycom Bluetooth mouse deserves an unsolicited review.
I know experience and taste vary by individual, but this mouse is awesome from my viewpoint.
Pros:
- Bluetooth - connects immediately; provides smooth accurate tracking
- Size - very portable; some may find it too narrow; I have a hardtime going back to a wider mouse
- Battery life - I get at least 2 days out of it before charing and I'm a fairly heavy user
- USB charge attachment - allows you to continue to work while recharging
- Product Design/Quality - Nicely engineered; good quality material- not tinny - it's built to take abuse
Cons:
- Haven't really found any - It took me awhile to figure out how to connect until I read the manual line by line (I don't tend to do that) then I realized it was pretty straight forward.
If you're looking for a quality bluetooth traveling mouse this is the one.

Great option for laptops or home entertainment center.......2007-05-11
I originally went looking for a Bluetooth mouse because I wanted a wireless mouse for my laptop, but I didn't want a large USB receiver hanging off the end. This was the perfect solution. The rechargeable base is invaluable, since the batteries only last about a month. I was able to use the mouse effectively from at least 30 feet away, although I suspect you could take it a little further. At that distance it becomes more of a matter of seeing the pointer on the screen. I always do a lot of research before I make a purchase, and I'm more than satisfied with this device. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I also used it with my home entertainment center, since it doesn't require an in sight receiver. Everything remains hidden behind your media cabinets. Now I just need a decent Bluetooth keyboard.
Great looking and functional Bluetooth mouse.......2007-02-22
Pros:
-Power Switch!!!!! Not having this on one of my older BT mice was a sure way of that mouse running out of power when it was inside a bag. Also, having a power switch means you can turn on the mouse and have it link up with your computer without having to click on a button, which on my other mouse would send that click to your computer.
-Ability to replace batteries.
-Ability to use mouse while it is recharging
-Stylish. I've gotten lots of nice comments on it.
-Nice feel to the mouswheel. It has solid "steps"
-Comes with a nice little tiny bag to protect the rubberized finish of the mouse.
Cons:
-LED on top of charging puck blinks annoyingly when charging
-Charging clip attaches to user side of mouse hence the charging cable comes out on the user side of the mouse. I have no idea why they didn't have it coming out the other side... It's annoying to have the cable coming towards you if you're using the mouse as you're charging it.
-The nice rubberized finish of the mouse is eventually going to wear away from dings...

It took less than two minutes to configure the mouse and begin using it. Connectivity is excellent, and tracking is as good as any wired mouse. It is very small, but its weight and length are comfortable even for large hands. Highly recommended.

Excellent portable mouse.......2006-04-19
I did a lot of research on Amazon.com before I finally decided on this mouse. I wanted to replace my (extremely) small Kensington USB mouse with a retractable cable. At home, I use a Wacom tablet. Next month I am traveling abroad, so I wanted a slightly bigger mouse that can handle more frequent use than the Kensington. Wireless was key for portability. I also wanted something rechargeable, and I didn't want the USB adapter sticking out.
I received it today, and I'm on my first charge. So no comments on batteries (which can be replaced with other AAA NiMH for optimal performance if desired anyway).
- I have large but skinny hands. Mouse is small, but its long length helps in terms of where to place your fingers. Of course convenience is not comparable to a full-size mouse, but if you want portability, this is about the right size.
- I have a PowerBook that runs Tiger (10.4). Excellent Bluetooth connection. Also very good response, very little delay. Only reservation is for the scroll wheel, which requires subtle pressure for accurate scrolling - this is ever so slightly uncomfortable if you have large hands, because the mouse is flat and your hand is adjusted over the mouse so that it is a bit hard to apply adequate vertical pressure on the scroll wheel from that position. It is hard to explain, but not a big issue for me.
- USB charger works well. The added size of the USB adapter helps with comfortability (still flat, but becomes an otherwise full-sized mouse) - despite the fact that the cable attaches to the bottom of the mouse.
- As mentioned by others, installing the batteries is a challenge. Pull the notch on the bottom of the mouse as you slide the top (part with the Anycom label) away from the clickers. Once I figured it out, not so hard.
Overall, I don't seek perfection anyway, so this mouse does the job adequately for me. I haven't tried any other Bluetooth mouse before, so I'm more or less in awe.

Cool looking, a small as I need but entirely useable, incredibly easy to recharge. I love this mouse. After the initial pairing, I've never had to do anything beyond switching it on and using it. I think the interval before it goes into powersave mode it fine and I think the wake-up time is a about 1 second. I don't know how long it will run on one charge, but I take it with me when I travel and I haven't needed to switch out the batteries. The battery cover is a bit tricky to master, but it isn't a real problem once you understand how it works. I have very big hands, but after a short period of adjustment, it has become an unconscious interface, like all good tools. I expected only to use this mouse for travel, but it is now the only mouse I use. I've only used it on an XP machine. I hightly recommend it.

I did end up getting this to work! I'm glad because it's small and easy to take with me. Works easily while charging.
I made sure I read compatibility for this as I switched to Mac. This mouse doesn't work with OSX. I even went to Anycom's website to update drivers, but there aren't any. I can't say how it works for Windows, but stinks for Mac. Is very well designed and well fit for my small hands....too bad.

I confess. It was the design that lured me to buy this one. This is not a bad mouse, but there are some flaws.
First impression: I rip the box open and take a look at the mouse. The surface is flat out sexy; looks kind of like velvet. It is small. Real small. But I wanted to try a mini mouse so i'm not going to complain when I have to sell it because I don't want carpal tunnel. The battery compartment was a little stiff but I got it to cooperate. It was tricky to pair it to my mac but what you have to do is press the connect button on the mouse while your computer is searching for it. After that it worked. The three dots on top of the mouse that look like LED lights; they are decoration.
After further use: Don't have carpal tunnel yet but it starts to hurt rather fast if I use it while sitting in certain positions. Since I can't tell how much battery life I have, the only way I know its about to die is when it sporatically starts disconnecting. Otherwise, battery life is ok.
My biggest boast: The charger is AWESOME because you can use it while it charges.
My biggest beef: If you leave the mouse idle for about 10 minutes, charging or not, it basically goes to entirely to sleep. Specifically, the Bluetooth module inside the mouse goes to sleep along with the rest of the mouse and you have to move the mouse for about 5 seconds before it awakes itself and gets reconnected. Isn't that what the on/off switch is for?
Overall: Installation may be tricky for novices. Probably not for big hands, but hey I still have it. AWESOME looks. AWESOME charger. LOUSY idle cycle.

Want a dependable,good looking,low priced bluetooth mouse? The Anycom BTM-100 rocks. My wife and I have HP laptops with bluetooth capability and we travel all over the world with them. Portability and wireless is important to us. The Anycom is a small, wireless bluetooth mouse that has a good feel to it and is also rechargable. I looked at every mouse around and tried them firsthand in the stores. The scrool wheel works great, the mouse is as accurate as my touchpad and It does not lock up,look or feel cheap. It comes with an on/off switch to save power and comes with two AAA rechargable batteries and the usb docking station that allows you to recharge the mouse as it is being used. Along with a 2 year warranty it comes with a nice black carry pouch to store it in. The mouse rocks, its as good or better than any other mouse out there and for what you get you can't beat the price! Happy trails. Dr. Vijayan.

Inexpensive comparing to other BT mice.
But:
- had to click a few times in order for it to work

was driving me crazy. Maybe mine was defective.
