Vista users beware!!!.......2007-12-07
Though not entirely the fault of Micro Innovations, Vista users will have nothing but trouble with this mouse. The packaging specifically states "Vista Compatible" but you have to really work to get it to work. Vista is terrible at recognizing USB mice, and there isn't a clear solution out there. Once I finally got this mouse to work, it only lasted a month before Vista no longer recognizes it. I have yet to find a solution that works.
When it does work, it is quite user friendly. While small, it is still easy to operate. One drawback that I have found is that with frequent use, the retracting hub is harder to lock in place.

This is a very good little mouse. It functions perfectly. The only thing that is against it is the hub the wires contract into. I get it caught on things sometimes like the table edge. I am very happy with my purchase.

I adore this little mouse. When I purchased it I was unsure, the thin little cable was not likely to last a week! But I have had it for several months now, and I think it is the best mouse I have had, including optical types I have had for my desktop. It's comfortable, compact, cute and reliable. Well worth the money.

This is a fantastic mouse.
Going from an old Compaq 2 button ball style mouse to this Micro Optical Cool Blue Mouse is like a new world.
The scroll wheel glows a cool blue light while it is on, really nice to look at.
It responds with your hand movements,no hesitation, the optical pickup is quick.
The buttons can be configured to any preference when you use the various settings in the software.Even the scroll wheel can be set to scroll 1 line or more with each detent click. I set it to 3 lines per click, it seems to be the best for a page.
If you click down on the scroll wheel, you get a four directioned arrow, now just move the mouse any direction to scroll the page, this is a cool effect.
Simple to install, with the pc off, just plug in the mouse to the PS2 connector, turn on pc, install the floppy disc driver, when it says its not "certified" by Microsoft, just skip it and click continue, restart pc, and it works fantastic.
Oh yeah I got this at Staples for $14.95, cheaper than Amazon this time!
This is a wired Optical Mouse that uses the PS2 port, so it will fit any "older" pc too.Its not made for notebooks.The PS2 cord seems a little shorter than a standard mouse cord,but the pc sits close to my desk, so this isn't a problem to connect to.
This is one of the coolest pc mouse's to use, a really great device.This company makes good quality products at low cost,they make branded accesories for other pc makers too.

If you visit Micro Innovations website, you will be surprised that they never have this product. That is the reason when you upgrade your computer and try to find an upgraded driver for this mouse, nowhere to get it. Very frustrated.
