Awesome mouse!.......2007-12-27
I highly recommend this mouse! It's the most bang for your buck as it has the basic needs of most people. The weight is very light and the easy-to-click feature makes it so simple to use!
my favorite mouse.......2007-11-13
I've used a lot of mice in 25 years of computing. In recent years I've settled on this one - I keep buying more and more of them for all the different systems around the office. Just a really good feel, smooth action, accurate tracking.
Logitech optical mouse.......2007-11-09
I have had this mouse for only a few days. It works well with no installation involved. The absence of a trackball to do the job lessens the parts for wear and tear. I hope it works well for a long time.
Logitech Optical Mouse.......2007-10-31
No more dealing with the ball jamming under this mouse as there isn't any ball. Free flowing cursor with ease - no more hangups.
Good value, does not have hiccups of wireless mouse.......2007-10-30
Works like it should.
I got this as a replacement to a wireless mouse that periodically lost track of what it was supposed to be doing (seemed to depend on whether the power cord was between the USB port and the mouse). I don't have time for that nonsense and this wired, optical mouse does exactly what it is supposed to do.

Works on Polished Granite/Marble.......2007-11-18
I travel extensively and end up working on many different work surfaces in hotel rooms. I have tried many wireless mice including different Logitech models and none have worked well on on granite and marble surfaces until I found the V320. Even the Nano (which I prefer due to the tiny receiver and advanced controls) will not work on these surfaces.
review of Logitech V320 Cordless Optical Mouse - Black.......2007-09-07
First, as far as I can tell, there is no operational difference between this black version of the Logitech V320 wireless mouse and the grotesquely ugly grey and silver version of the Logitech V320. It was worth the price difference for me to have this much more attractive black version. The images of the product shown here on Amazon are *exactly* what it looks like.
I am using this product with Windows XP Pro SP2, without the Logitech driver.
PROS:
* Stylish design and color.
* Very responsive and accurate, which gives you a wide range of actually usable mouse speeds via the Windows Control Panel --> Mouse pointer speed adjustments. If I am doing some digital photo editing, I can slow the mouse down via Windows to give me greater control. When I am browsing the internet, I speed the mouse up to make swift movements across my dual display setup. In fact, the fastest setting in the Mouse Control Panel is almost too fast.
* Fits my hand well. I am a man, but I wear gloves in size small (male) or size medium (female LOL), so the diminutive size is handy not only for travel but it fits my hand much better than the huge desktop mice (such as the Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 1000 which this mouse is replacing).
* Furthermore, the ergonomics are excellent: the curvature on the top feels perfect, the sides are rubberized for easier gripping, and the Teflon pads on the bottom are large and allow the mouse to slide easily across my desktop, and these pads look thick enough to last a long time before wearing out.
* The left and right clicks are sure and smooth. It does NOT require much pressure to click the left or right buttons, and this is important to me to reduce the stress on the tendons of my arm. I can click and click and click and my arm does not grow fatigued.
* The scroll wheel is also reasonably responsive.
* There is an on/off button on the bottom.
* Or you can plug the receiver into the mouse and the mouse will automatically turn off. When you remove the receiver, the mouse automatically turns on again.
* It uses easy-to-find inexpensive AAA batteries. I use alkaline batteries, because a mouse is a very low-drain device, but of course you could use NiMH rechargeable batteries--I use and recommend Sanyo eneloop batteries, since they hold their charge much longer than regular NiMH batteries.
CONS:
* In order to middle-click, you must press down pretty hard on the scroll wheel. I do find this quite aggravating, as I often need that middle-click to open new tabs in Firefox. This is my only complaint about the mouse, as I love everything else about it.
UPDATE: I thought I would add the following information: This mouse does *NOT* turn off automatically after a period of disuse. Yay! I have a Kensington Optical Wireless Mini mouse (model # 72214) that *does* turn off after a few minutes if you do not move or click the mouse, and I find that behavior quite aggravating. Let's face it, modern mice are *very low drain* devices, so it already costs next to nothing to operate them on regular alkaline batteries. I don't need the nuisance, just to save a few pennies a year, of grabbing the mouse and having it not respond until I click a button. Also, a mouse that is rechargeable is going to co$t much more, and comes with the additional bother of being *required* to recharge it periodically.

Now there's a mouse that works so well, you're free to focus on what you're doing instead of on your mouse. The Logitech Wheel Mouse Optical records motion optically, so there's no ball to break or get dirty, even in the dirtiest workspaces. And because there's no ball, the Wheel Mouse Optical glides smoothly across most surfaces--no mouse pad required. The optical sensor has twice as much accuracy and speed as some optical sensors currently on the market. With 800 dpi resolution, this is a great mouse for gaming. You can save time by using the buttons for shortcuts, and with easy scrolling without scroll bars. Click the scroll wheel and the Logitech WebWheel feature puts browsing commands and Web sites at your fingertips. The mouse's shape nestles into your left or right hand. The Wheel Mouse Optical features a five-year warranty.

Great!!!.......2007-12-01
This company was Great, i had my mouse in record time, I would not hesitate to order anything from them, in fact my daughter liked it so i ordered 2 more.I really was happy to find the mouse at a reasonable price because i have used this style for a long time and I dont really like the newer styles.
Tank.......2007-10-26
I've had this mouse roughly 5 years now (as of 2007) and have bought Logitech and other branded mice since. This is still the only mouse I haven't had a single problem with. It's survived 5 moves, 4 of which were rather abusive to it. I call it Tank and I feel this mouse is the single most under appreciated mouse ever manufactured. This mouse is defiantly on my personal "best hardware of the decade" list.
Works good........2007-08-23
I'm using this mouse for a few year now and had no problems with it.
Works fine, Click a little too loud.......2007-07-05
Works fine and was at a great price. If i were to get picky, I'd say the click was a little too loud.
Not quite as good as the last Logitech mouse.......2007-04-25
I've had my old Logitech mouse for more years than I can remember. In the past few weeks the wheel started acting up and I finally decided it was time to order a new mouse. This one looked a lot like the old one so I ordered it. I plugged it in and it worked right away. So far so good. The wheel worked great! Another plus. The pointer was true and the wire long enough to suit my needs. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, but then the annoying clicking of the mouse brought me back around. click, click, click.... I decided I could get used to that over time. Then I realized that this mouse does not have one of the buttons the old one does. A simple push of that button and I'd go back a screen on the Internet. The new mouse has a round thing that looks like another button, but it doesn't do anything -- it's just decoration and a place to show the Logitech logo. I'm so disappointed to not have the "back" button any longer. I was so spoiled for years. I needed a new mouse and this one wasn't too expensive, so I'll keep it. Not altogether pleased with it though -- thus the "4" star rating.

Customer Reviews:
Can't beat the price+performance.......2007-12-10
I picked up this mouse for about $10 and I've been pleased with its performance. Here's the rundown:
PROS:
* Price
* Optical sensor - movement is very fluid on a Mac
* Easy to hold in your hand
CONS:
* It doesn't include some of the bells and whistles that most people have come to expect of mice.
* It has a very long cord, which I don't quite understand. Most people have their mouse next to their computer, so having a long cord doesn't make sense.
SUMMARY: The buttons click well, the scroll button is very accurate, and the optical sensor is right on. For $10, you have no reason to complain about the lack of bells and whistles. If you're looking for a basic mouse and you just need something to work well out of the box, then this mouse is for you. If you're looking to spend more money on something that includes more functionality, then look elsewhere.
PC/MAC COMPATIBILITY: I'm running OS X 10.3.9 on a 800mhz iMac and both buttons and the scroll wheel behave exactly like they would on a PC with no downloads.
If and when it ships.......2007-03-18
Ordered this to replace a failed eight-year old wheel mouse. Don't really know how good or bad it is since Amazon's estimate shipping time will be the end of May. I ORDERED THE ITEM AT THE BEGINNING OF MARCH. DOES IT TAKE THREE MONTHS TO PROCESS THIS?

Great Mouse For The Money!!.......2007-03-18
I love this mouse! There is no lag issue for me and I only paid 19.99 @ Target.
Mouse Mania.......2007-01-24
Logitech has a winner! I bought this one for home use after using one at work. It really meets my needs. Cordless is the way to go and this mouse does all I need it to do and more! Battery life is superb! Logitech..you got it all...thanks for making such a great product!!
Receiver a little too big .......2007-01-14
The mouse is very nice. The lagging is not a issue like the first review said. It sometimes happens, but you can play with the settings. The receiver is a little big, but you can hide it behind your monitor. I'am running Windows 2000 and Linux. Both operating systems saw the mouse. Even Windows. It comes with a USB to PS/2 Converter. I'am plugged in via USB. I may change it to PS/2 if it starts acting up. The main reason I bought this mouse was the battery conservation. Which so far has been pretty decent. Other then the receiver being a little big, it is one of the best mice I have used.
Best mouse I've ever owned.......2006-11-20
What's not to like about this mouse? It's very precise, it has no lag (I'm not sure what that other guy was talking about, I've never had any lag at all), it has long battery life, it's ergonomic, and it's nice and solid. I've had mine for so long that the little Logitech logo on mouse actually wore off and it's still working great, despite having been dropped, stepped on, getting water spilled on it, etc. One thing, though. Laptop users might not want to get this, because the wireless receiver isn't a small USB key like it is for some wireless mice. Instead the receiver is this lump of plastic that's almost the size of the actual mouse, and it has a long wire attached to it. A laptop user might still like the mouse (I did), but it's designed more for desktop systems, I think. All in all, you should definately get this mouse.
Great for the Price.......2006-10-12
I don't know what the lag complaints are about. I just bought this mouse 3 days ago, but I have experienced no lag at all. In fact it is working better than my microsoft corded optical mouse that it replaced. I am very happy with this mouse and generally prefer Logitech to other brands. You should take a look at the Logitech G7 Laser Mouse for a high end cordless (great for gaming).

Customer Reviews:
Good traveling mouse however.........2006-01-31
This mouse is very compact and easy to install and use. The one thing that I have found wrong with this sometimes they respond and behave in a wierd way. It is like some signal from who knows where is grabbing the mouse and moving it on it's own accord. I have two of these and have purchased one for my sister and have found that they are inconsistent. One of mine is perfect however the other one is sporadic and my sisters sometimes has a mind of its own. I will be looking forward to a new series of these as I find this to be too inconsistent with it's performance.
No more nubby laptop mouse!.......2005-12-13
This mouse is fantastic. It tracks on anything including pants legs and sweater sleeves. It's nice to be able to kick back in a chair and use an arm or leg as a mousepad for web surfing. Need pinpoint accuracy? Simply use a traditional surface like a table or notebook. The batteries last forever! I use this exclusively for 2-6 hours per day and the batteries (2 AA) last for 4-6 weeks! Amazing. The only drawback is that the two mouse buttons "click" when pressed. A silent button would be better for use in a library. I'll buy another Logitech mouse should anything ever happen to this one.
The Product is Great, Amazon is not!.......2005-07-28
Logitech has done well with this wireless mouse. It works flawlessly at distances, in my experience, upto 3 feet. The batteries last upward of 6 weeks while I seldomly remember to "turn off" the mouse when away from the computer for extended periods.

So the product is great(...)
Petite and sweet.......2005-06-16
I ordered this to replace another "cordless" mouse that came with an RF unit that was as big as a mouse and had a cord that was as long as a regular mouse cord. Not exactly practical for a laptop user looking for less clutter! This one cost a bit more and took a few days longer to arrive, but it is sweet. My HP laptop recognized it immediately, and while the size is a bit smaller, it isn't uncomfortable, and it works very well. Response is at least as good as the corded Logitech mouse it is replacing. 4 stars only because I just got it. I'm sure it will rate 5 as time goes on.
Nifty!.......2005-01-10
This mouse is a must-have for anyone who uses a laptop and doesn't like using the touchpad.
The mouse is smaller than the desktop version, but it's performance and comfort rivals a full size wireless mouse. It has an on/off switch on the underside that saves battery life, and it comes with a black travel case that stows easily for travel.
I highly recommend this mouse.
