I bought this to store my digital scrapbooking files because there were just too many to bog down my PC. I filled up an 8 gig flash drive in about two weeks and needed something bigger. I had no idea that you could fit so much information in such a small space. Its only slightly bigger than the 8 gig I had and holds 10 times as much. Now I can really play!

I paid a premium for the small size but it was worth it. I used to have my personal stuff spread out over a bunch of computers now I keep it in my pocket. I've had this for 7 months and have carried it around with me nearly every day. It has operated flawlessly the entire time. This little beauty has treated me very well.
Update: died after a year. But I treated it pretty roughly - carried it around with me every day.

I am a professional macintosh consultant. I bought this drive to become my tools drive (macs can boot off firewire drives to test whether problems are hardware or OS related, and run tests/repair routines on the internal hard drives).
It's small, very light and very reliable. My clients never believe it's a 30 GB hd. And because it's firewire, it boots pretty much every mac made in the last 8 or 9 years!
The LED did break out of the front of the drive within the first month tho. It's still rattling around inside, but I don't care to part with the drive long enough to get it fixed/replaced.
