I've had issues with other tapes(fujifilm), these tapes work great for HDV, only 1 dropout so far on the 4 tapes that I have used so far, compared to 1 dropout every 7 minutes with fujifilm. a great product and I will be reordering soon

I've been using these for over three years now. Purchased them from multiple stores (all in the US). They always work just fine. I use them in two different camcorders. I've also used tapes form JVC and Panasonic. These work just as well as all the rest. Something I noticed about all the reviews that complain about yellow packaging is that none of them have used the tape or experienced any type of problem. I'll keep getting these. I just wish they came in the longer version.

I bought two Sony 120 Minute Hi8 casettes for my sharp camcorder. I used it over the long weekend.The recording was just phenomenal. On playback,it seems as if all the events happen again. It is a must buy.

I use these Sony tapes in my Sony DCR-TRV310 Digital 8 camcorder. The quality is great, even after you record over it. Sixty minutes in D8 is fine for me and I see no reason to disapprove of the tape's performance!

Captures great in a Sony TR7000 camcorder. Works great in both Hi8 and Digital8 modes, though only captures 60 minutes in Digital8 format. The tapes retained clarity and sound quality after multiple edits. The material of the tape is the second-highest quality used in Sony tapes.

I ordered three 3=packs of the Maxell VHS HGX T-120, as pictured even now, and got three 3-packs of a different Maxell VHS product.
Now that I've found out on my own that the original item is no longer produced as such, it would have been appropriate to inform me of that fact...I could have purchased them locally and saved a rather hefty $11.95 shipping & handling.
I was assured an "RA" for return, but have never seen it.
At this point I will keep the items...someone should update the pictorial advertising to avoid this minor confusion and disappointment. - M.

The tape is working fine till now after many repeated recordings in my 8mm camcorder. The price...for two tapes is not much but i think you can also get other tapes like sony for this price or some dollars more. The quality of the plastic used to manufacture this tape is not good though but there is no need to look after it as the basic function is to record and play, for that its fine.
