As comfortable as it is functional
The Wii Remote is equally comfortable in right and left hands and houses just the right number of buttons for gaming- not so many that new players will get confused, but enough so that Wii games don't feel constrained. On the face of the remote are the D (or "plus") pad, a large "A" button which is used for major on-screen actions, and two small options buttons. Between the game buttons are a plus and minus buttons (which often act as "forwards" and "back"), as well as a "Home" button to engage the Wii home screen to change settings or check remote battery levels. On the back side of the controller is a trigger-like "B" button, perfect for timing releases of a bowling roll in Wii Sports.
Thankfully, battery life is excellent with the two included AA batteries, just as with the previous generation of Nintendo wireless controllers.
Immersive intelligence
Along the bottom of the Wii Remote, four blue LED lights indicate which player position the remote is currently set to. The controller automatically connects to the Wii console via Bluetooth wireless technology. Did a bit of research before I bought these cables. The salesfolks at the store where I bought our Sony XBR4 HDTV insisted you have to buy the $110 cables - nothing else will do - "why buy a great TV and lose so much by using bad (= cheap) cables" - etc. Most of the reviews said otherwise. I went with the folks who said you may as well give them a try; you're not out much dough if they don't work and if they do work you've saved a bunch!! Bought `em - love `em.
One note: we have a short run between the component and the TV (6.5 ft cable). Based on reviews and ratings, if I had a longer run, I would probably have gone with a different cable.

If you're not obsessed with high-end performance, you will be more than satisfied with this HDMI cable. The connection could stand to be a little tighter, but by no means do they ever come loose on their own.

These cables are well made, transmit the signal just perfectly for a 1080p with the PS3 blue-ray player. The connectors are well made and should last quite a while. For the money, these are pretty tough to beat. I have had others where the connector was a bit loose and had to get new ones.

A Step Down From the 2nd Generation Nano.......2007-12-31
Are there really that many people that need to watch videos on their music player? I can see the appeal of the Gen 3 Nano if you are a constant train or plane traveler but the new design does nothing for me who just wants to listen to music. I think the new bulkier design and large screen aren't nearly as convenient or aesthetically pleasing as the previous Nano. I have a first generation 4gb Nano but wanted to upgrade for the additional battery life and memory. After looking at the new Nanos I decided to go for a refurbished 2nd generation. I was able to get it direct from Apple for $150 with a 1 year warranty. I love it and am glad to get one before they disappear completely. I think it is a lapse on Apple's part that they now only have the video friendly Nano available.

I moved up to this version to get 8 GB instead of the 4 that I had. I have found that I prefer the older version (generation 2).
I prefer the 2nd gen for several reasons. I like the shape better and I like the size of the selection wheel. The 3rd gen selection wheel is 1/4 inch smaller than the previous version. Doesn't sound like much difference but you definitely notice it. I also find myself (almost every time) over-running my selection as I "wheel" through a list (no matter how much I anticipate it coming up). And in order to keep it small (and the screen bigger) Apple put the wheel right down at the bottom edge of the face. This makes it more difficult to place your thumb on the wheel and (something they probably didn't think about)this makes it extra difficult to operate when the iPod is mounted in a device, which most people use nowadays. So when I have my Nano in my portable charger/radio/speaker device, I can't reach the bottom of the selection wheel - not a great design.
It is not nearly as tough as the 2nd gen. You could throw the 2nd gen across the room (mine was) and it would barely get scratched. The 3rd gen has a chrome back that was scratched the first day in my pocket with nothing else in there with it!
I don't like the fact that they waste half the nice screen on the first part of the menu with random (yes random) album art that has nothing to do with the menu.
Yes the screen is very nice, but I think too small for video, unless it's for the occasional podcast. I would choose a larger iPod if you plan to watch movies. I didn't get it to watch movies so think the extra-large screen is a waste. But if you want to watch video on an extra small device then the nice screen makes up for the other negatives I mentioned.

For the price (paid less than $30)this is a pretty good headset. The audio quality is not that great. Not much on the lower frequencies, sounding a bit like talking thru an older model telephone. The other feature I don't like is the on/off switch. It's too small making it hard to activate. As for the positive side, I like the way the ear piece fits comfortably in the ear and provides plenty of volume. Unlike the Motorola headsets that just sit over the ear, the 510 wraps around the back in a comfortable way and the earpiece helps to balance the weight on the ear so the headset becomes barely noticable when worn.

I bought this headset based on the hundreds of positive feedback written here. In a month of use, overall, it works well, and fits comfortably, even with my glasses. But perhaps I was a bit hyped about how good it would be. I paired it with my LG VX5300 phone. Here are the minor quirks I noticed:
1) Pressing and holding the button to initiate voice dial always took about two seconds after the beep before the phone would actually begin listening for a command. I would often repeat voice commands because of this.
1.5) Not sure if this is a phone issue or headset issue, but commands often had to be repeated anyway. Louder.
2) Pressing the call button twice in rapid succession to call the previous caller did not always work correctly. Maybe about 60% success rate that it works the first time.
3) Occasionally, callers or callees would say it was really static-y, though I did not hear the static on my end. (Yet phone was in close proximity to the headset.) This has only occurred two times in a month of use. After redialing, it was fine. Not sure if a headset issue or a carrier issue.
4) In my house, headset can move about 30 feet away from the phone before I start to hear crackling. I guess this was expected. You can't walk all around the house and keep a call :P.
These are all the negatives, but overall, it works quite well. Still worth 4 stars.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He has had several motorola bluetooth headsets before this one. I read the reviews and thought I would get it for him and see what he thinks. He knows his technology. It was easy to hook up to his Motorola Q, and the noise reduction was excellent. He often drives with the window down and I couldn't even tell. The call was very clear and I could not tell he was on his headset.
If my husband gives it 5 stars, then you know it is a good product!

Make sure you know how to change your computer media player to the correct format because mp3 format is the only format this player accepts!! I had to go to the Sansa website to read troubleshooting problems and replies to figure it out. Other than the pain of having to do that it is a neat little first player for kids. Next one will have a screen.
