I purchased this case for a Treo 680 and it appears to be built for another unit. It is far too large for the 680 in both the length and width. The phone just bounces around in the case so I returned it. You should try the Smartphone Experts P6 case for only $19.95, it fits perfect and is very high quality.

Product is exactly as advertised, it fits nicely on a belt buckle, it's not too bulky like other carrying cases. Easy to use magnet snap front, easy open and close. Treo fits perfect insided the case, and the price was right...LOVE IT!

The leather and the magnetic closure are nice. However, I had to use pliers to loosen up the belt clip and after carrying it on my belt for a few days I found it bulky and uncomfortable, especially when sitting.

I bought this item because it said it worked for Palm Treo 680.
NOT TRUE! The Palm Treo 680 is much thinner than the Palm 650,
so it just "swims" inside this case...
NOT at all pleased! I will sell it to someone with a 650.
If you have a 680, DO NOT buy this!

Palm TREO carry case.......2007-06-24
I use this case with my TREO650. It is a great improvement over the old flip style case. The magnetic close works well. The phone seems so much smaller now that the vinyl case is gone. One small problem, the stylus CAN fall out. Be sure yours is a snug fit.
Reasons I like it........2007-05-17
The clip is really strong and I need to use two hands to open it to slide it over my belt or pants fabric.
The lid does not open when I don't want it to... even though it's just magnetically fastened.
Fits the Pam Treo 680 perfectly along with room for a half dozen business cards. I'm able to connect a charger or the wired headset through the corner gaps.
It's black and the padded leather is smooth.

All the reviews I have read pretty much sum up the case. It is personal preference. Yes the belt clip is VERY difficult to use but hoping with time it won't be so difficult to use. What is nice about the clip is it is not bulky like some can be and you don't have to worry about it breaking or losing a piece. Knowing when I purchased it that it would add bulk when clipped to my belt or when I put it in my purse, the case is exactly what I expected and am satisfied with it. I have to say though I have to watch which way I put the phone in the case because otherwise it pushes the on button even in the lock position.

I like this product alot. I am new to the whole side holster thing but eventually got used to it. It clips on VERY well so I had to bend out clip just a bit (my own preference). The only issue I have with this product is the side of the holster. Either way you put the Palm in you can plug in ear phones but not your Palm car charger. So if my phone needs to be charged while in my vehicle I have to remove the phone from the holster.

Very secure case for your Treo.......2007-03-29
I had a Verizon case similar in design which worked well except that the bet clip slipped off my thick belt. Once I lost the Treo in a park but was fortunate enough to find it. The belt loops on this case make it impossible to lose. I have had this case several months and no problem with the loops. It also comes with a detachable belt clip which also seems a cut above the competition - it hooks AROUND the belt versus just clipping onto it.
The case is a nice looking design but nothing special compared to other similar cases. It is harder than the Verizon case so it probably provides a little more protection. The only problem I have had is that taking the Treo out of the case often turns it on or answers the phone - not sure why since this never happended with the Verizon case. Expensive but highly recommend for security against loss.
