Just OK.......2007-12-05
I wasn't expecting much, but am glad someone else paid for them. They are very flat sounding and uncomfortable for an extended period of time. Using iTunes to make a pretty sharp V pattern in the equalizer makes these very usable and helps alleviate the tin can sound. If I where spending $20 on headphones I would buy an entry pair of Sennheiser's .
Quite a letdown........2007-08-01
Honestly, I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into when I bought these headphones at a local music store on the cheap, but I wasn't prepared fot the poor qulity of this product. The ear cups are designed to sit on top of the ear, instead of cupping it, and this leads to discomfort and sound leakage. The folding setup is too free-shifting and will constantly fold up as you try to put these on. The Cables leading to the earpieces are a bit on the fragile side, and the 6' cable is both a blessing and a curse. The sound comes through at a nice volume, but the treble is weak, and the bass is rather flat
All in all, i'd recommend further research before deciding to purchase these.
I should have known better...lol.......2007-01-28
I wasnt expecting much. Just needed some headphones to save my Sony headphones from breaking so much. I wanted something to use at home while I let the Sony club phones rest. I knew for 18 bucks they would suck...but I have headphone for my MP3 player better than these things....

JVC HA-M300V - decent headphones at a great price .......2007-03-19
Many people are now using earbuds to listen to music during exercise, but I intentionally purchased these to use instead of the 'buds' that came with my mp3 player. For exercise purposes, they stay securely on my head (never falling out of my ears), and using the volume knob along with the volume settings on my mp3 player (Creative Zen Nano) they block out almost all ambient exercise noises (treadmills, TV, talking) without hurting my eardrums - another advantage over the buds. With sensitive hearing, there was a comfortable maximum setting.
For use with other devices, such as my computer with a 1/4" adapter, in quieter settings, I still enjoyed the benefit of not hearing ambient sounds, and feeling comfortable wearing them.
I only found a few minor faults with these headphones. Especially during exercise, I found myself wanting a little more bass. In a quieter environment, I still wanted a little more. The cable is also a bit long, so I had to use a rubber band to wrap up a few feet of it, and put that part of the cable in my pocket during exercise. For those of you who like your music loud, these may not be the best headphones. As I mentioned, with the mp3 player I use, I discovered a maximum volume threshold.
Overall: great headphones for the average music lover who 1) wants to listen to music without external interference and 2) likes to listen to their own playlist when working out.
light, comfortable and good sound.......2007-02-11
the title really says it all. there are great little headphones that are also portable enough to carry with a laptop. the in-line volume control is great. you don't know what you are missing until you try it.

Great for the price..........2007-12-14
This rating is based on the fact that they were only 15 bucks including shipping and handling. I bought them simply because I needed a cheap pair with a long cable to use when I practice my bass. Plugged into my ipod, I discovered that these are pretty decent. I own a pair of Sennheiser PX100's which I use for basically everything else. The bass is pretty tight on these headphones. The biggest thing that separates these from higher quality headphones is the fact that 1. they feel cheap and 2. the mids/highs seem a bit weak, and don't match the clarity of the bass. I recommend these to anyone that already owns a good pair of headphones, but wants something decent as a backup.
Just look at the price.........................2007-09-21
Everyone just buy these headphones, they're only 15 from amazon, I've seen other sellers on this site selling these headphones for $8.00. So to all of you people complaining, just stop. If you paid more than $15 for these headphones, then complain all you want, but for $15 these are the greatest headphones around. I use them for everything from processing dictation to practicing on my amps.
Wonderful!.......2007-07-30
For the price these headphones are a great buy. Great quality sound and lots of cord to move around on. Very pleased with this product. Also, packaged very well for shipping.
You've got to be kidding..........2007-07-27
OK - I'm reading through the past reviews after plugging these things in and I'm thinking to myself "are these other people deaf?".
Overall, the quality of these 'phones is pretty poor. Tinny and weak, with little noticeable base at all; and when I plugged them into the headphone jack on my PC speakers, I get a VERY annoying high-pitched whine while idle.
I bought these headphones based upon other user reviews, and I have to say I'm quite disappointed. I expected a great deal more, under the circumstances. Sure, they're inexpensive headphones - and in this case, I got what I paid for.
Good product, pleased customer.......2007-05-28
Im reviewing this product simply to support and basically empower whats already been said about this product. Its very comfortable, fits nicely, and i can endure it on my head for hours. It also has great sound. Given that you pay about 15 bux for it, its certainly worth it. I cant compare to the Sennheiser HD202, however, because i havent tried that product yet.
