Under-Ear Glory!.......2007-12-17
This headset fits well and provides hours of microphone and headset capability with no fatigue. Plus, it looks cool. Adjustable clip to put less weight on lower ear when attached to shirt/jacket.

Decent but not great.......2007-12-10
I have had these headphones for just over a month now. They still work the as when I first used, which isn't all that great. I really don't have much of a problem with the sound quality from the earbud and it fits fine in my ear with minimal discomfort. However the main problem I have is with the mic. I often get compliants from my friends on xbox live that they can only part of what I say (about 1 in 3 words). Other times however it works fine. Sometimes I ahve noticed that this is because the mic is not directly facing my mouth, in those cases I simply adjust it.
Pros:headphone has good sound quality and easy to adjust volume
easy to turn off mic
earbud is semi comfortable
Cons:Mic is often unrealiable and has some quality issues
earbud hurts to wear for a long time (2 plus hours)
earbud is hard to keep clean
Not good headset .......2007-11-10
I purchased this headset after the one that came with the xbox broke... Do not buy this headset, buy an overear one. This one is hard to get into your ear, very uncomfortable, and goes so far into your ear and gets covered by my brother's ear wax... Also, the mic is not that sensitive, and my friends can not hear a thing I say online. You can;t even bend the mic towards your mouth!
DO NOT BUY IT!! GET AN OVEREAR VERSION!!!

I haven't been this pleased with a purchase in a long while........2007-10-09
With the retail price being so low and there being a few negative comments already posted about it, I really wasn't expecting much when I purchased the headset. Fortunately, I was wrong. I wore this headset for 4 hours the first day I brought it home with absolutely NO discomfort. I definitely recommend this! Check the Customer's picture for commentary about the fit.
A pretty good headset, better than OEM one.......2007-10-01
I bought this headset on my way to a friends house because I had forgotten my OEM one. Would have bought a wireless, but then I would have to charge it and would have still been without one for awhile.
Fit:
First it does take a little time to figure out how to put the headset on correctly, and have it stay on, but once you figure it out it fits great. Far more comfortable than my wireless headset, which I purchased at a later time. The boom extends to about an inch to an inch and a half from my mouth which is perfect, you dont get the breathing sounds being picked up, nor do you need to yell to be heard. The boom is semi-flexable, so you can position it for your face contours. ***Added 12-17-07. I have actually stopped using this headset, although i like the shape more than the OEM headset, the part of this headset that goes in your ear starts to hurt after an hour or so. So for extended gaming, not a good choice.***
Sound Quality:
Great sound quality coming through the earphone. No problems there. Volume adjustment is easy, as is the mute/unmute. Both are located on a "box" in the middle of the cord. I have heard no complaints of my voice quality to others, unlike my Mircosoft Wireless headset that pics up the sounds from my TV or someone talking on the other side of the room.
Other:
My only problem with this headset is that the cord could be a foot longer or so. Any corded headset obviously has a cord in the way. Occasionlly though, I will pull the cord out with some eratic movements (moving the controller left in a useless attempt to get my guy to move left more while playing a game), or getting up and walking around while still talking. ***Added 12-17-07. Another problem I am having is with the boom. It tends to get twisted somehow, and will not work in certain "configurations". I am not sure how the twisting is occuring, but its a frustration every time I go to put it on and the mic dosent work so i have to untwist it. I have since gone back to the OEM headset.***
I am very happy with this headset. I would like to see the volume and mute somehow put into the actual earpiece and a longer cord, a simple 1ft cord extender from RadioShack fixed that by the way.

This headset is the first one I've ever used. It is comfortable enough to wear all day. I wear glasses and other headsets I tried tended to smash my temple band against my head and become painful after 30 minutes. This one doesn't interfere with my glasses, even when I am putting it on or taking it off, which I can do fast enough to answer calls on the third ring. I use this with my cordless Uniden phone and the sound at both ends is perfect.
I also use it as a usb headset (connected through a USB hub) for Skype on my Mac PowerBook G4 running Leopard and it works great for that too.
I have used it as a headset with my BlackBerry 8830 and it worked fine but the first time I tried it, my BlackBerry internal mic did not kick back in after I pulled out the plug for the headset and so no one could hear me. I plugged the headset back in and then unplugged it and this solved the problem. That issue hasn't repeated itself but I don't want to screw up my phone so I've only used it with my BlackBerry one or two times.
Great for Gaming.......2007-12-10
This is superb for online gaming, and I'm sure it works well with a phone too. Great for "plug and play" with Windows Vista. If you have it, and you still want to use your computer speakers, but use the mic for communication, make sure you set your speakers to default in the sound category of the control panel. When you plug the mic it Windows Vista sets it to the default speaker. It's a great microphone and I would certainly recommend it to gamers.
Excellent Headset.......2007-10-24
The under the ear feature works very well. The headset is very stable.
The swing arm on the mike provides excellent audio quality. The swing feature is really useful in adjusting the mike closer or away from your mouth.
I have used it in my car on my cell phone, on my desk with my landline and with Skype (the USB adapter is real handy). Great results everywhere. No one says it sounds like I am using a headset, I am cutting out etc. The incoming sound quality has also been fantastic. Really beats the quality on my expensive blue tooth headset.
The cord has a microphone volume adjustment, a mute feature and a volume control. All work well and are very handy.
Great product, highly recommend it.
Under the ear !!!.......2007-08-23
I am a little disappointed with this product. I was expecting something better:
1 -) Hard to install and keep it to / on the ear.
2 -) OK to use it with a mobile phone but , the cable is very heavy and very long when USB adaptor is attached ( not advisable to take it along with Laptop for voip calls)
3 -) The voice level is somehow low even though the maximum volume is set thru the controller attached to the cable.
Great Headset.......2007-08-04
This is pure and simple a great headset. I wear one entire business day, and this was the most comfortable. Having both USB and 2.5mm connections makes it good for many purposes. That one can adjust microphone sensitivity as well as ear-piece volume makes it terrific.

Not for me - too small .......2006-12-28
I'm considering selling mine on ebay after only 2 weeks. It's hard to get the mic itself to come around to being in front of my mouth and I've had several complaints about being too quiet. I have been able to force it over but it really needs a longer mic stalk. I have also not found it as comfortable as so many reviews here led me to believe it would be. It's usuable but I really think I would like to find something else. I consider my head, ears, etc. to be of pretty average size so I don't think it's just my physique leading to these problems.
