I have nothing negative to say about this case. It fits the phone perfectly. The clip is easy to use and rotates on your belt. The faceplate can be easily removed when you are using the touch screen. Overall an awesome product!
A really excellent case with minor flaws.......2007-02-06
I tend to break things.. especially cell phones, which apparently I love to drop. After dropping my Treo 650 into a sink full of water I decided it was really time to buy something protective.
This case is fantastic. The rubber is very grippable, which has reduced my dropping of it. When I do drop it, the rubber is thick enough to protect it from any serious damage (and no more scratchs!). The button covers don't hurt functionality at all and the holes are cut out perfectly. Like a lot of other people I threw away the screen protector, it's overkill and I like having a touch screen.
FYI - insert the phone into the bottom of the case. I tried to do it from the top and ripped the rubber a little. All the same it still fits great.
The flaws - the rubber is really grippable, and it grips onto my hair. I have to be careful when taking the phone from my ear to swing my hair away from the phone first. The SD card slot and the IR port are completely covered by the rubber. You can't use them without taking the phone out of the case (or cutting your own holes, but I'm not that brave). I don't use these features that often but if beaming stuff is a way of life for you, this is not the right case.
Overall I love it. The bottom line is that the thing does what it's supposed to, perfectly. It doesn't wiggle around in its case, the holes go exactly the where they're supposed to. I use the clip some of the time but mostly I carry it around in my purse. Oh, and now I have a Treo 700p and it works with that too.

I really like this product, when I ripped throught the packaging it's all that I expected. I wish I new of this product before I scratched my phone. It's the ultimate phone protector. It hugs the phone completely, protects the screen with the flip screen case covering and the letter keys are easily manueverable. Thought it does take a little time to get used to the skin covering on the launch buttons.I haven't used the holster yet so no comment on that. The only flaw to this item is that the company knew that there are slots for both the SD memory card & SIM card. But unfortunately they didn't provide allotted slots in the skin. So therefore you have to cut them out yourself. Overall I still think it's a good investment cause it protects your expensive phone!
The best case for your 650.......2006-11-05
I bought this after I tried about 6 cases from a good friend of mine. It is the only one that i had no problems with: it holds the Treo very well in its holster while having it available with a one hand operation. Very good product, indeed.

Good protection for the Treo not the SD card.......2007-04-17
I chose this cover to help protect the screen plus I liked the swivel lock and SD car holder. The case works ok but I do have a couple problems with it. First, my previous case (Body Glove) for previous Palm (Zire) held 2 SD cards securely with an elastic strip. This device does not secure the SD card and it falls out too easily. Thankfully I was able to retrieve the lost card. The other downside to the product is the long belt clip. Clips like that are notorious for digging into your side unless you're a skin and bone type which most people are not. I've been using the clip off my old Body Glove cell case which works better. One last complaint is that the cell phone isn't secured to the case and can easily slide out if you don't have a tight grasp of the Treo. Over all the case is ok but it could be better.

Excellent item, just a couple of minor draw-backs.......2007-10-22
The Speck Products Toughskin for Treo is an excellent item and performs well. It absorbs shock from drops and protects the expensive smartphone/pda is is on. The grip is comfortable and makes the device easy to hold. The buttons work well under the covers. The only minor draw-backs I have noted, were: 1. The cover often causes the SD digital card to release it self. 2. The plastic cover causes you to have to use 2 hands to access the touch-screen functions (or you can remove the screen protector, but then loose the protection from it).
Overall, and excellent product that I highly recommend to anyone in public safety or other industry who where phones are treated rough!
