This is NOT a real Motorola product, the M logo which is supposed to be illuminated from behind is not, there is a little blue LED below the logo - not even close to the real thing. Naturally I am leary of using this to charge my new MOTORIZR Z6tv (Verizon) as I don't want to toast my battery - I tried it on my old Razor phone as a guiny pig and it seemed to work (no smoke came out of it) but i won't use it on my new phone unless I have some kind of emergency and have to. Bottom line (as always) ***YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR***

This thing works great. I had a friend ship a similar charger from a T-mobile store and it died after a few weeks. This has been great so far and the small lock makes the wire so much more manageable and tidy.

I purchased this product with skepticism because it was so inexpensive.
The auto car charger is constructed well and seems to be made with good materials. I have used it for a month and it charges the phone as expected. This is how much an auto adapter should cost and not the ridiculous price that Motorola and it's resellers charge.

Cons: Too cheap to make it worth returning
I bought this to simultaneously charge my Motorola Q and Motorola S9 headphones (they're ***** btw). It charges Q fine, but will not charge headphones even if it's the only device being charged... strange, all other Moto chargers work fine. Maybe I just got a defective one? Anybody else charging S9's with this?
Update: read the S9 manual, it does say that it wont charge on the headset end. Oh well.
Pretty Handy Doohicky.......2007-08-19
My cell phone and HS850 headset require two differnt adapters. Since I travel a lot, this can be a minor nuisance. This device allows me to get by with one adapter and charge both units simulataneously.

This battery worked for about an hour talk time at a time. If I charged it every day, talk for an hour in the evening, the battery would be dead when I got up in the morning.
There are several varieties of the SNN-5779 battery that fit the Slvr L7: BC50, BC60, and BC70. When I needed a new battery I ordered this one based on it matching the SNN-5779 part number. Only later did I realize that my battery was a BC60 and not the BC50 variety. I trashed this one and ordered a BC60 which gave me two to three days of battery life with an hour or two on the phone per day. I wonder how much more battery life I would get with a BC70.
