Razr V3 Holster.......2007-09-23
The best holster I had - phone faces in and easy to unclip to see who is calling. Holds phone safe and secure no matter what position. I bought a few for my friends too and they agree it is better than other holsters that don't secure the top of the phones.
Unfortunately I have switched phones to the V3xx and they do not make this holster for my new phone. I have tried four holsters that do not have the triangular shape that secures the top ... and the phone keeps falling out the top at the slightest swivel. I wish they made this model of holster for the V3xx.
So I caution against holsters that do not secure the top of the phone - becaues if you are like me and you move about (or bend to pick something up) ... the phone will fall out the top!!
Razr Phone Clips.......2007-06-28
For my company I have purchased several different styles of clips for the Razr phones and by far this is the most liked design. With some of the past designs the phones were easy to knock out of the holder, but with this design it securely holds the phone in place.

Compared to the "face out" belt clip I had previously, this "face in" version has proved to be a bit more stable and sturdy so far. Hopefully, it will remain so. For the price, it's not too hard to appreciate.

You can't beat this price. This holder works great. You must remove your phone before answering it. Make sure you put the phone in with the camera facing the clip. I put it in backwards at first. The phone won't stay in that way.

This is a great holster, really cheap price, I ordered a couple this time because it's only fault is that it will break pretty easily if you sit in a chair and hit it on the arm of a chair, but for the money it's great.

I got this for my girlfriend's phone. She loves the zebra pattern but the case seems cheaply made. It already is starting to fit loosely and has a small chip on one of the corners. You would think the case would at least stay strong for a couple of months!

I bought this cover for our Razr's and they cracked really easily. We didn't have to drop them on the floor either. There was also this round attachment in the back, which looked like something you'd attach to a clip that wasn't removable. Not worth it, even if it's only a penny.

This is a nice plastic, hardcover for a Motorola phone. It takes a bit of effort to get the cover on, but it does fit. Secondly, your phone may not close all the way, at least mine doesn't, but it closes enough to make your phone 'shut off'. A few dings may crack the case, but it wont completely tear it apart, at least not yet. Look at it this way, at least it won't be your phone!

Yup, it's a phone clip holster alright. Nothing special, nothing bad... just a phone swivel belt clip holster.
Sometimes when I remove the phone from the holster the little clippy prongs that hold the phone in also manage to rip the battery compartment off the back of the phone, but with careful practice I have the technique down to where that rarely happens now.
I like the LCD facing out because I can clip the phone to my dash holder, and still flip it open to make calls and see who's calling...

I bought this and it was exactly what I needed. I guess the people complaining about the thing "ejecting" or "not fitting" the top of phone just have not tried it facing the inside. I found it very disgusting at first, but then realized it is actually a very good way to protect the front screen.
Not Worth The Buck.......2007-01-04
I wish that I didn't have to wright this review, because I was actually looking forward to receiving this product, but the fact of the matter is that it wasn't worth the cost of the shipping charges.
The RAZR slips into the bottom edge of the holder fine, but the top clip is the problem. The clip doesn't go "over" the top of the phone, which would serve to snap it into place and secure it fairly well. Instead, it clips onto the top EDGE of the phone - leaving the phone prone to popping out of the holder whenever you sit, bend, move too fast, etc.
My phone popped out twice, then I tossed the plastic holster in the trash. Maybe it can be recycled into something more useful...

If you touch the phone while it's in the holster it doesn't merely fall out, it's ejected! Potentially expensive junk!

The item now pictured is not the one I purchased a couple of weeks ago. The current offering appears to have the necessary holding clips to prevent the phone from falling out. Someone must have gotten the message.

Wonderful Holster.......2007-01-21
In the past I have bought those plastic covers that fit over my razor (which broke after two months use and I didnt drop the phone), a silicon case (which stretched out too much after only three months use), and a body glove case (which I thought was poor quality). I figured I was tired of buying these expensive cases and having them break after a short duration so I decided to buy this holster at the cingular store. My mom has had hers for almost eight months so I decided to give it a try also. I am ever glad I did. It is very easy to put on and its easy to remove. To remove it all you do is slide it off instead of pulling it off. It turns one hundred and eighty degrees, it can be used in your purse or you can attach it to your belt. It holds very securely. The only two things I dont like about it are you have to take it off when you charge your phone but that isnt too big a deal and you have to remove it when you want to take a picture with the phone. Other than that I love this holster and I have no regrets about buying it. I just hope it lasts a long time.

Awful Product Vendor not very helpful.......2007-09-13
I needed a replacement for my original Motorola battery. The talk and standby time were growing ever shorter. I searched Amazon and found only a couple of batteries which would work and so ordered this one.
I received it quickly, charged it, and started to use it. It has two major problems:
1) The talk and standby times are worse than my old worn out original Motorola battery and,
2) When it gets to only two bars remaining, without warning the phone shuts off. No beep warning. No bars going to zero. No flashing battery icon. No nothing.
I did not see it disclosed in the product description, but when I looked at the battery I found that it was made in China. (I should have looked more closely at the photograph and seen the "made in China" printed right there!) China makes junk! I suspect that it was manufactured using technology which does not produce adequate charge capacity and results in a discharge curve which does not allow the phone to know when the battery is almost discharged and therefore it shuts off without warning.
I would recommend that you pass this one by. I spent only a couple of bucks on this so I have not lost that much. On the other hand, it cost about five bucks to ship the thing, I am losing time having to find a new one, and eforcity's solution to my problem is to let me ship it back for a replacement (at my expense, of course.) How much sense does it make for me to spend ANOTHER five bucks shipping to get another two dollar junk battery? For that reason I can't recommend eforcity either. The right thing to do would be to simply refund my $1.84. The excellent thing to do would be to refund my shipping cost as well. No such luck.
Give this one a pass. I will also give eforcity a pass in the future as well.

It does pull the battery cover off sometimes. It did hold the phone well.
My problem is that I dropped the phone with the holster attached, and the holster busted. I have dropped other phones in the holster and no real damage to either. But this is a cheaper plastic. I would not recommend this. The big problem is finding a good belt clip holster the the phone faces forward. I dont like the backward ones.

Worthless. It rips off your battery door when you try to take the phone off. Flimsy and broke within a week. Not even worth the 0.01 I paid for it which is sad. :(

Poorly made and weak. Pulls the battery off my RAZR everytime I disconnect it from the holder. Stopped using it within a day after purchase. There are better holsters for the RAZR on the market. Avoid this one!

The belt click is too clumsy.......2007-09-05
The black leather is soft and good-looking. Phone fits in a little tight but OK. What I didn't like is the belt clip makes the pouch stay very detached from a belt or purse. Plus it looked like it could fall down any time. So I removed it and adapted a clip from an old case, what turned out to be a bit of work, but I did it because couldn't find any really good case for this phone.
