Installation was a snap. No problem there. Mouse response is very good. Comfortable to use (even for my big hands). Very precise. I do a lot of graphic design with a pen/tablet, and this mouse rivals that for precision. Very happy so far.

I bought this mouse along with a cleaning kit off of Amazon for my brother for Christmas.

I was very afraid of paying good money for a mouse that may be too small, and I risked it. It is definately worth the buy. The battery life is fantastic and the size isn't too small, even for man hands. The fact that the USB thing attaches to the bottom while traveling is wonderful.

All in all worth the buy.

After all the hype of the wireless mouse, I decided to figure I'd go for the best known brand. Microsoft. Come to find out, their product, which I paid about thirty dollars for, is cheap. The USB receiver broke and I found myself trying to fiddle with it to get it to work. It's really a waste of time and definitely not a good investment.

I've used this plug and play mouse on Windows and Mac machines without fail. The use is as simple as it looks. Without reading the manual, I was able to pop open the top of the mouse, put in a battery, and then plug in the USB dongle. No software needed. I love that the USB dongle clicks into the bottom of the mouse for travel too. Been running on the same battery for 3 months now without fail.

I also have to commend the form factor. Usually, when a mouse isn't designed well it feels strange to hold. This one had it right, with a right-side indentation that allows the ring and pinkie finger (for right-handed users) to fall a little.

I'd highly suggest this product to anyone looking for a simple, easy mouse replacement.

I love the compact size and that you can store the usb dongle in the bottom of the mouse. The only complaint that i have is that i was told that this mouse had the 4-way scrolling option and it DOES NOT! But otherwise I like the mouse a lot. I would recommend this mouse to everyone that has laptop!

Very practical!.......2007-12-31

This was a X-mas gift for my husband. I was a little reluctant to buy it after reading some of the reviews since my husband has big hands. He carries his laptop in a bag and a larger mouse would have been inconvenient and too bulky. The small USB can be left attached permanently to a port and the size of the mouse turned out to be its best asset. After installing and customizing it to his needs, he had absolutely no problem adjusting to navigating with it. This one's a keeper!!!

Best Mouse I've Ever Owned!.......2007-12-29

I bought this mouse for my brother-in-law for Christmas. He loves it. I own two myself, and have had them for several months. I work for a computer software company and spend about 70% of my waking hours on a computer. I have two laptops. I bought one of these for the first laptop and liked it so much I bought anpther one for the second laptop.

Pros:
1. The tiny dongle is GREAT! I travel A LOT. I constantly am packing my laptop up and now I never have to remove a USB attachment to do so. That alone makes it worth every penny.
2. Compact design isn't as bulky as other mice I have had.
3. Runs on a single AAA battery that after 4 months of constant use has not needed replacing.
4. Has a power switch to conserve that battery.
5. Has a double optical sensor that reacts perfectly. This mouse works on every surface I put it on. Past optical mice have had issues on certain shiny surfaces, but this one seems to handle everything just fine so far.
6. The scroll wheel has two settings, a clicking spin and a free spin. The free spin zips right through long web pages and huge documents.

Cons:
1. None that I have noticed yet, and by now I should have.

Maybe someone could gripe about the price, but there are more expensive mice on the market that I have tried and not liked. And again, the small dongle is such a huge convenience for someone that travels that I would pay more for this mouse if I had to.

I can't imagine anyone not loving this mouse.

Logitech strikes a good balance of form and function - I found the mouse a little small for my hand at first, but I reminded myself that its that way for a reason and I've adjusted! Love the free scroll wheel (for quickly getting thru a deep email inbox) and the ability to scroll horizontally - I work in IT and frequently review large visio diagrams, its awsome for that.

Amazing reciver, OK mouse.......2007-12-27

I would like to preface this with saying the reason I bought this mouse was because of the size of the receiver. In that regard, it succeeds quite well. The receiver is small and unobtrusive, but for $55 it better be.

That being said, I have two major problems with this mouse: The scroll wheel and the navigation buttons. The former is sloppy and does not contain a middle click. Instead, clicking the scroll wheel will change it from smooth scroll to ratched, which is neat. However, for anyone who uses tabbed browsing, cad programs, photoshop, or many other applications that the use of a middle click is ever so wonderful, then mapping the button just below to scroll wheel to middle click is, needless to say, a must and takes some getting used to.

The navigation buttons are just in a dumb, inconvenient spot.

Mouse size is about what I would expect for a laptop mouse and the side scroll is unobtrusive, which is nice.

I'm using on a Intel MacBook and it works beautifully. The USB receiver is tiny and can be left connected during transportation. The mouse and scroll wheel have a nice "solid" feel. I programmed the 2 left buttons to enlarge and decrease the display (a nice feature for older eyes). I have come to appreciate the quality of Logitech products (I use several).

I found this camera easy to install and hook-up. It runs beautiful video. The major problem with this webcam is, it won't stay firmly clipped to the monitor of the laptop the way it shows in the picture. Otherwise, I'd recommend this to everyone as being an excellent product.

The RightLight technology with this webcam is superb. The moment i turned it on, I knew this is going to be great and skype chat with my parents and brother in different countries confirmed the quality. They could see much better quality, clear and bright image. It also has a wider view (atleast compared to my previous webcam from logitech), zoom feature without losing much clarity, and the face detection feature to is fun to use sometimes.

Cons :
> The clip to attach to laptop or stand is poorly built and does not provide a strong grip. It seems as if its designed for a particular laptop. The stand is useless too for me as it very unstable with a weak base. They should have made it heavier at the bottom so it could balance on small movements.

>AutoFocus is a bit slow at times if you move the webcam around.

Easy, Crisp, and It Works!.......2007-12-19

It took me about five minutes to install the software and make my first Skype video conference call. The video image is quite good and I also like the ability to take photos and videos. Over the last few weeks I had a video conference call with a group of Chinese professors, captured the final presentations of my college students, and taped a three month old. The price was competitive and the produce met my expectations.

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor

MacBooks come with an Apple remote and preloaded Front Row media playback software.

The Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor has a 2.2 GHz processor speed, super-fast 800 MHz front-side bus (FSB), and an enormous 4 MB of Smart Cache, an L2 cache that can be shared between the cores as needed. (An L2, or secondary, cache temporarily stores data; and a larger L2 cache can help speed up your system's performance. The FSB carries data between the CPU and RAM, and a faster front-side bus will deliver better overall performance.)

The Intel Core 2 Duo's 128-bit SSE3 vector engine handles 128-bit computations in a single clock cycle, accelerating data manipulation by simultaneously applying a single instruction to multiple data. And its two execution cores are designed to share resources and conserve power, helping it to achieve higher levels of performance since it uses fewer watts. New Mac User.......2007-12-31

I bought this as a replacement for my 4 y/o Sony laptop. I only used the laptop for teaching and since this was only a bit more expensive than the other Windows based laptops I was looking at, I decided to go for it. I can honestly say I don't regret the purchase. Will I become a total Mac convert and leave Windows? No, that won't happen, but I can see why so many people love the Mac OS. If you just stop thinking of how things were done in Windows and just start trying to do them in a common sense manner, you find it actually works. I've already learned that I'm making it much harder on myself in trying to figure out how to work on the Mac because I am trying to work like I did on my Windows machine.

The best part about the whole experience, is Boot Camp. I basically bought two laptops. With Boot Camp, I can load Windows and have the best of both worlds right at my fingertips. I love it. I gained a new laptop, a new OS, and didn't sacrifice anything from my previous OS. All of the software I need for teaching still works, and I have a whole new world of software to explore. I do recommend that you purchase a memory upgrade though. The 1 GB is nice, but things run much faster if you give Leopard more room to move around.

Windows Users - BEWARE!!.......2007-12-27

Writing this review on my old laptop with windows. Very unhappy with new macbook. Windows don't cover the whole screen making my 13 inch essentially a 10 inch. Very confusing and hard to navigate. Never tried Vista but lifetime windows user and I feel like I just walked into Starbucks for the 1st time and don't know the silly names they give their sizes. Can't "double tap" the touch pad - have to click on the button, so using one hand to navigate is not possible. Going to give it a shot over next couple of days before exchanging it for a windows based laptop.

It's a great laptop with the new operating system from Apple(Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard). The dual processor from Intel is too good but 2GB instead of 1 in any version should be perfect! So... 4 stars just for this little "detail".

I've had a Mac since the Mac SE came out in the 80's. I've been through lots of Macs. LCIII, Quadra 660AV, Performa 6400, Powerbook G3, G4, G5 iMac and MacBook Pro. They are all still working! That's the great thing about Mac's , they never die. All of my old ones are in use by grandkids, nephews, and others. The Leopard system is the best one yet. I was forced to use a Windows computer at work which really sucked. But the company finally wised up and moved to Macs and phased out the IT guys, they weren't needed anymore.

Is a very good product, good materials. Just have a problem if you need to carry out more than your 15.4 laptop (Dell fit perfectly) and a few paperworks. A Dell Battery charger and other stuff like that a big mouse, may be too much for the limited space. Great is you dont need to carry much more than your laptop.

Best gadget in 2007.......2007-12-31

This gadget was reborn with the new OS (OS 2008). The browser does everything that a full browser does, and youtube works beautifully on the new OS. The scrolling rss news feeder in the home screen is an excellent way to get news updates. Another nice thing is the internet radio (an fm radio is also available).
There are loads of freeware downloadable software like canola which gives an ipod touch-like experience. I also liked maemopad+, a multi-purpose sketch software.

This is a wonderful little PC that works! You can surf the internet, read and write email, listen to music or podcasts, watch videocasts or movies. I even used it to remotely control other computers. This is a great little product for a really good price. I highly recommend it. I would buy it again.

Absolutely amazing.
Am seventeen and was looking for a goal to shoot for with my programming lessons. Went out on a limb and decided to write software for Maemo.
Works flawlessly. Ebooks, music, Python, Wifi, Bluetooth, Security software(Nmap, Aircrack), Writing. All open-source.
Only issues I've had so far are the kind that are fun to fix. One wish, though: Java support.
More I use it, the less I want the laptop I originally asked for.

Does not power up after initial charge.......2007-12-30

This item arrived DOA after initial Charge. The replacement also did not start after initial charge. I was able to get it to start after removing the battery for 5 hours. Then it worked great until I powered down, then the same problem. I could not get the update software to find the device even though windows Xp found and gave it a drive designation. I thought upgrading the OS system would fix the power problem. Nokia support could not help, I was told to send the unit in for warranty repair. When it was working for the short time it was promising. Maybe just a bad batch, I think I'll order the N810 instead and cross my fingers.

The Nokia N800 is a great little computer. clear hi-res screen, great battery life, surprising sensitive wi-fi antennae. It's not the fastest machine on the block, but for everyday use it's great.
