Great product.......2007-11-26
This is a great product, it has trippled my talk time and only needs to be charged about once a week. I would reccomend it to anyone who still has the vx 3200 phone.

Talk time is like tripled, and standby time is not measured in days. Pricey, I think I can get a better deal with like a generica branded extended battery for over half off. But when it comes to batteries I guess if you want OEM you will have to pay more for it. No complaints

yes and no.......2007-05-26
The extra life it provides is great. but it is too big and protrudes from the back of the phone. This prevents many of the covers for this phone from fitting. It also makes it awkward to use while sitting flat on its battery side. If not for those 2 little problems I would give it 5 stars hands down.

My purchased extended battery worked very well and lasted and lasted. It readily fit my VX6000. However, the body is one-half inch thick; compared to the usual one-quarter inch. Otherwise, it is an excellent buy.

The battery does not hold a charge for an EXTENDED period as I had hoped. I was not disappointed in the shipping, however, The order arrived quickly and was well packaged.

I recommend this battery if you talk a lot on the VX8000 or watch VCAST clips often and your battery runs down before the end of the day. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS:
* Greatly extends standby and talk time, sometimes I only need to charge the battery about once per week if I've done minimal talking. The standard battery required charges around twice per week.
* Good ergonomics, the phone feels more comfortable and sits better in the palm of my hand, perhaps because of the new weight-anchoring at the bottom 1/2 of the phone.
CONS:
* More weight and bulk, with the extended battery the phone is almost too large to fit comfortably in a pants pocket, however the phone still fits well into a belt-attached leather case with magnetic button closure (another recommended accessory, can be bought from many web shops).
