this headset is great. sound quality is good, battery life is great and performance too. A small piece of equipment that is well worth it's price tag.
Its fit on the ear is kinda drippy, but once you get it right you're good to go. since it's light, it will easily retain its position without dangling, except you got it in wrongly. when others say the "around the ear" anchoir does not help, they mean it Does NOT help; it's completely USELESS!. No doubt it's not even included in advert photos.
this is a simple and practical accessory. Not the best Bluetooth headset in the world, as of performance, but with it's $20 tag in consideration, should be the best as of date.R izn for it's 5 stars I give

This a neat little bluetooth device. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but then I didn't need for it to do tricks for me. I just needed a bluetooth device that would stay in my ear, provide decent two-way communications, and hold a charge for a relatively long time. This one fits the bill on all three fronts. It's a bonus that it's small and doesn't look like some strange device hanging from my ear. I believe it didn't cost a lot because it's a model that's being replaced. Too bad. I'll check out its replacement when I need to get a new one.
great little BT headset.......2007-12-27
This is a great little piece of machinery. This thing is constantly in my ear. It's not bulky or (that) flashy and with my hair down, no one notices that it's there. When I first got it though, I had issues with it staying in my ear, but that could have been caused to the stiffness of the rubber piece because now, after 6 months, it stays in there perfectly.
To attest to the craftsmanship of this thing, I accidentally dropped the headset into a bathtub full of water while bathing my dog and it worked with NO issues after I fished it out and let it dry off.

This is a good value for the price paid. However, even though the product seems new, there was not formal packaging. It just came in a sealed small plastic bag. I don't remember anything that showed me the product was new, which is what I wanted. I must say, though, it is working fine so far.

I ordered for rather silly reasons: the price and the color. The red headset matches my red Palm Treo perfectly. And the fact that it sells for under 50 bucks is nothing to sneeze at. But despite ordering it for all the wrong reasons, it works well.
However, I do have some words of caution. First, it is so small that there is the danger of losing it which I almost did on more than one occasion. The fix to that is to make sure the headset in your ear snugly. Second, it shuts off after you charge it and you seem to have to hit the "on" button just right to turn it back on which is frustrating. Third, if you have a Palm, you have to re-pair it every time you turn the headset back on, which is annoying. Fourth, the sound quality is not the same as if you were speaking directly into the phone which is probably the same for all headsets, but there is no buzzing or static that is experienced with other headsets.
A great thing about this headset is the range. I was using it the other day in the house and forgot to take the phone with me to the other room! I only started to lose the signal when I was about 70-80 feet away from the phone. Since this is my first experience with a Bluetooth device, I am not sure is this is the norm, but I was impressed nonetheless!

I purchased this one to match my palm centro. I love it. I have an old motorola and the hook over my ear annoyed me, especially when i wore sunglasses. This one is smaller and because it fits directly in you ear it eliminates alot of background noise. Its takes some getting used to in positoning it in you ear. I love it so much that i brought one as a gift for my mom.
One Slippery Little Bluetooth.......2007-11-07
This is a very cute Bluetooth that complements any of the many red cell phones on the market. Unfortunately it is near impossible to keep this placed in your ear properly. Unlike other Bluetooth headsets out there this one does not have a piece to go over the ear, which really aids in keeping it in place.
The WEP200 Bluetooth goes directly inside the ear canal. It has different rubber buds to help keep it in your ear, but unfortunately none of them work very well. The WEP200 Bluetooth constantly rotates around in your ear so that the speaker is pressed against your earlobe. You have to constantly rotate it back up so that people can hear you on the other end of the phone. My wife first had problems keeping it in place and thought that maybe her ear just wasn't designed right for this type of Bluetooth. Then I tried it for a week and had the same problems.
The WEP200 Bluetooth has a cool sleek look and reminds me of Uhura's earpiece from the 1960's 'Star Trek' show - but it's really annoying to have to wear.

This is a great little bluetooth. I've had a few and each time wearing one of them, the caller on the other end complained that they could not hear me. I've worn this one for a few days now and no one has made a comment and I can hear them great.
What most impressed me was the Voice Dialing. This is not a feature I use with my Blackberry so when the little voice in my ear asked me who I wanted to call and knew there were a couple of numbers to choose from, AND I actually didn't have to take the phone out of my purse to dial them, I thought then that the price I paid for this was well worth it! What was even better, the price on this was under 30.00!
I highly recommend this bluetooth.. My only reason for giving it a 4 instead of 5 is the fit of the ear bud. I've read that there is a certain way to make it fit correctly but I've not read the manual yet to find out how...

It's light, comfortable to wear. The only down side is that it does not have a range. You need to stay within a few feet of your cell phone to get the good signal.

This product works well and has a high cool factor with its tinyness. I have generally had success with it and do not typically get complaints from people I talk with.
My complaints are that the voice recognition does not
seem to work well when driving on the highway even with the windows closed. I guess the background noise is too high. It seems to work fine if you are driving slowly around town. It is also impossible to talk to someone outside in windy conditions. I do occassionally have it fall out from my ear, but it is easy to grab and put back. Finally, can we please get more bluetooth products that don't blink all the time! Let's face it folks the novelty is gone- I don't need to announce to the world that I have a bluetooth headset.
Having said the above, I still rate the product highly and would recommend it. You have to know going into this that it is not going to perform at an ultrahigh level with the size being so tiny.
Decent headset.......2007-12-14
To be fair, some of my comments may be more related to my phone (Samsung A900m on Sprint) and not this headset. I had a lot of difficulty using a Motorola and Plantronics headset on this phone with range and static. Pairing has always been easy, but static has been a huge issue.
This was the first headset I found where the headset could actually be a few feet away from my phone and I could still hear everything clearly (and well as the other party hearing me in non-windy conditions.) The unit is small and easy to put in my pocket. Securing in the ear takes a few pushes and pulls, but it does stay secure. Sound quality isn't super rich but nevertheless clear. I haven't used the headset more than a few times a week, so I can't comment on the battery longevity as I am not a heavy user (and I can comfortable charge it once per week.)
The charger box/case is convenient, although it would be nice if a USB charger cable was included (I've got so many devices nowadays to charge...).
If you have a Samsung phone, this headset probably provides the best performance possible in this price range.

seamless connection and clear voice catch with noise reduction. a little cumbersome button handle though... but works with all the samsung phone withougt any troubles... I'd recommend.

I like the Samsung WEP200 headset. It's small and light yet solid and durable. It's an in-ear model, which I like a lot better than over-ear. And it doesn't require an earlobe hook, which I find cumbersome and uncomfortable. It has a small charging station box that doubles as a carrying case; it's light and only a little bigger than a matchbox, making it easy to carry in your pocket. I have had headsets with better sound, but they were much bigger and much more expensive.
Pros: Small, light, durable, in-ear, no ear hook, inexpensive, carrying case
Cons: Sound quality is average.

This is very good. Fits perfeclt in the ear. Does not hinder with my earrings. Only negative is that the ear starts aching if I wear it for a long time.

I purchased this product so I could chat with my family while driving to and from work. It conveniently fits in one ear without the headset looking microphone so you don't feel like you are working at Old Navy or in a call center. You should be sure to plug it in before driving so there's no extra fiddling around, the only inconvenience associated with non-wireless capabilities. Quite often the person I am speaking with complains of not being able to hear me very well, but after a microphone adjustment it seems to be aleviated.

This headset is great. My friends can hear me better when I talk with the headset plugged in than without it. And I hear better too. I used a Motorola headset before but the Plantronics is far better than the Motorola.

I have owned several bluetooth headsets. My ears are sensative and comfort is important. This headset fits perfect and the sound and mic are super. I have never had a complaint using this headset. It paired with my iPhone with no problems. It has a long battery life and is by far the most comfortable headset I have ever worn. I have used it for 6 months and no complaints.

I got this in July 2007 and when I first got it to sync it up with my W810i, I was really pleased. The headset sits on the ear OK and it doesn't protrude out of your ear like a cocoon. The speaker works pretty well inside your car and indoors but if you are outside and it's a windy day, you had better put your hand across your ear because the person you're talking to, won't hear hardly a thing. Battery life on this headset is above average as the average talk time is between 4-5 hours on a full charge.
Fast forward to November 2007 and one day I was putting the earpiece over my ear and the rubber connective portion of the earpiece ripped off from the silver battery part. It is currently en route back to Sony after calling them. They will be sending me a new one once they receive my broken one.
Bottom line: Great looking long lasting battery Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset seeks gentle handling owner for sensitive fragile technology. If you get one, make sure you get an empty Altoids box to put it in when you are not wearing it.

This was an excellent earpiece, except it has no noise reduction. Everything else about it is great...the design for odd ears like mine keep it on the ear well. Noise reduction is vital, though, and I am surprised this late of a model didn't have it.

I have tried this unit with two different samsung phones and it connects consistently and sounds great. Excellent volume and good comfort on average sized male ears.
Amazon free shipping was painfully slow! Item shipped from 71 miles from my residence and it took three weeks and a day for delivery! At least I didn't pay for the slow shipping.

Not bad... but not great either........2007-11-09
I've owned two different headset prior to purchasing this one. From my previous bluetooth headset experience, I have always had difficulty hearing what other people were saying! However, the problem was not because of sound quality, it was because of the sound amplitude. This headset is great for the $25 I paid for it, but comparatively, not so much. This product has a lengthy battery life (of at least 8 hours) and it is very easy to hear whomever you are talking to... so long as you're not moving. The distance I was able to be away from my phone was much shorter than normal as well (maximum of about 10-15 feet).
Pros: Long battery life. Sound volume is much louder than other headsets. Others can hear you with clarity.
Cons: Distance from headset to phone isn't too great. More static than other headsets. Takes time to get used to having the 'bud' in your ear and ear placement piece gets uncomfortable after a while (about 30-45 minutes for me).
Overall: Good headset for the price.

hi purchased 5 months ago and is working great, the only is hte rubber hear got lose and lost. but the sound is very good, reception is good more than 8 feet. Battery last for ever, i only have to charge it twice a week and i use it all the time, if very comfortable form my hear. i'll buy another one if this one again.. love it.

It worked one time and then began to give an incredible noise the next several times I tried to use it. Don't know what the problem was but suspect it was incompatible once they{Cingular} had the signal.
