I looked at and researched many LCD TV's at this size and by far this Samsung offers the most for your money. The picture quality is amazing in HD! SD is good but its hard to watch after seeing the NFL in HD! Viewing your digital photos on the TV is very cool as well. I would highly recommend this TV.

This is Tv really good. The picture is amazing, sound good too.I bought DVI HDMI cable and now I can hook up my computer. Depend from your video adapter on your`s PC you can make different configurations.But I coudn`t connect my TV through opical connection.It is doesn`t work and remoute control can be more faster

Great tv for the price. Samsung has the best quality for a lcd tv vs. anyone. If you are looking for a clear picture and sound quality then this is the tv. Best of class in the 40 inch tv land.

I was hesitant to switch from a sony to a samsung. I should have done it last year. The samsung is by far the clearest and most exciting HDTV I have ever seen. I do not have one negative comment at ALL! Those who say the analog channel is inferior are simply confirming that the digital is soooo good, when the anolog is on there is no way not to be dissapointed...buy this TV not the 4061, worth the extra $100 for the real glass non reflective screen, sound is excellent for a stand alone system A++++++++++++

Bought TV through Amazon Warehouse, was shipped through Ceva (formally Eagle Shipping). Was called days ahead of time to set up a delivery time. Everything arrived as scheduled and included the "whiteglove" treatment (delivery, unpacked, checked to make sure tv,remote worked, was undamaged, took trash with them, and they set it up and plugged in cables (not sure that is regularly included)). the set is AWESOME. it has a very in depth, but easy to use menu system. tons of inputs, and has a fantastic picture quality. HDMI and componets work great, no noticable flaws. PC input is fantastic and has great picture quality. sound is wonderful and the tv even has sounds for startup and shutdown. remote is customizable for different electronics (universal) and has a lite-up option to show keys in the dark, the remote is a little on the large size for the number of buttons. ran a program through my pc to the tv to check all pixils (red,yellow,blue) all pixils responded correctly with no screen door effect. overall i love the set and shipping/delivery was great!

Great TV; Inadequate CC function.......2007-11-18

I bought this TV about a year ago. I love the picture, input & outputs, and general performance. Since that time, I've suffered a large hearing loss, and I've discovered that this set doesn't offer Closed Captioning processing with HDMI inputs. I don't know if that's a typical deficiency for other HD sets, but it has become a serious deficiency for me. Oherwise, I really like the TV, and it would have received five stars.

A good TV.......2007-06-13

I use this TV mainly for TV viewing so how it functions as a monitor or gaming device isn't something I would know about. It's my first experience with LCD and I actually went to Circuit City to look at in the store.

The picture is amazing especially in HD. I've watched Discovery's Planet Earth on it and sometimes you feel like you are in the picture. Regular stations are clearer also but you have to stretch it, if you want full screen. Nothing I can't live with.

The best part of LCD is that in a bright room with lots of glare, the picture stands up perfectly. When I first got it, I played a lot with the different types of picture: Dynamic in bright light, Movie at night, etc. but eventually it didn't seem to matter that much.

Overall a great TV. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Quality TV for a great price.......2007-05-28

I did a lot of research before buying this TV. This was the second best technology out there when I bought it (1080p had just been released), but definitely still the best for the money. 1080p is still at least five years out there (1080p is only useable as of spring '07 with way-too-expensive blueray players, etc.)...and who knows what technology will bring in five years. Anyway, Samsung is one of the best so the TV has great picture quality and colors, it has a sleek and sophisticated look, it's lcd so there's no residual imaging, and on Amazon you can get a heck of a deal. The TV arrived quickly and worked perfectly, and at by far the lowest price anywhere. Great product, smart purchase, full recommendation.

In a word "fantastic". Great picture on both analog and HD and the picture quality for DVDs is very very good. It was easy to connect to our Sony DVD surround sound system and cable system. Will certainly consider other Samsung products after our experience with this TV. Also, must give an A++ to Eagle and their delivery service. They were professional in every way.
