Great picture !!.......2007-12-25

I bought this Samsung TV for our family Chritmas gift... This is our first flat screen HD TV.. I did a lot of homework prior to the purchase.. I also purchased the Samsung HD-DVD player at the same time.... The picture on the TV is excellent,and perfect for sporting events... My wife has already mentioned purchasing another Samsung for the bedroom... Hmmmm, maybe Valentines Day ... Anyway, if you're looking for an excellent LC-HDTV, this is the one... I've already done the homework for you... By the way, I got a great price on it too, $699 from Amazon.. I was in Best Buy last weekend and saw the same TV on sale for $899... Enjoy the great shape picture with outstanding color !!!

The product seems fine. The difficulty was trying to get it here. It was only 19 days late. That delivery system needs a lot of work so that people can get there product when you say they will.

I bought this TV for my husband and it's been great. Picture and sound are very good. If you're a AAA member go to the web site and they'll e-mail you a 10% off coupon for Circuit City. To make sure all the wires were hidden I had Firedog install and mount it. I was very happy I did because it was fairly complicated if you want it to be wire free.

Pros: Wonderful color. Many different inputs. Great contrast.

Neutral: Like many other have said, watching SD Channels is not exactly beautiful if you are up close. But if you are sitting a about 8-10 feet away, I would say that it loos better than an SDTV does for SD channels due to the better contrast and brighter colors. If you are a decent distance away, you do not see the picture distortion. I would not let other saying the analog tv does not look goood, stop you from buying it unless you are going to be sitting uncommonly close.

This is one of the top rated TV's of this size by Consumers Reports. I could not decide between this and a Plasma so I decided to buy this set for my sun room and get the plasma later for my great room. When I received the TV expected it to be good but it is almost unbelievable. My old set was almost un-viewable in daylight hours because of the sunlight entering the room. This set has virtually no glare. The colors are bright and vivid and the sound is outstanding I like it so much that I ordered the Samsung LN-T4661F for the Great Room. (Another top rated Consumers Reports for this size) I received this set and the second verse is same as the first. If anything the second set may have a bit better sound but it is hard to tell. If you want a glare free TV with great color and outstanding sound I would recommend either set based on the size of your room.

Component video (also called Y/Pb/Pr) features a three-jack video input, which provides separate connections for luminance (Y), blue color difference (PB) and red color difference (PR). This television was a great addition to our bedroom. Perfect size and what a great picture. I loved the price as well. I would recommend samsung to anyone who is looking to buy a LCD HDTV. I thought only Sony put out great pictures but Samsung ranks right up there.

Extremely Unsatisfied.......2007-07-27

I ordered a TV that I never ended up receving due to a problem with the condition and not enough in stock. The only way I would have even knew that information was because I called up to find out. If I had not called then I would never have knew why besides the refund. Very dissatisfied with the service and communication provided by Amazon. I will never again go through Amazon. It is not worth the headache and I will just go into a store and pay a little more in the future.

A good HDTV, but not perfect........2007-07-16

This was our second HDTV, the first being an excellent Samsung DLP. Overall, I've been very pleased with the performance of the display. What keeps it from being perfect are its dearth of inputs. With a playstation, tivo, vcr and coax cable attached all the inputs are used -- including the side inputs. The second, and perhaps more unfortunate issue is a slight ghosting effect during rapidly moving sports programs. Not intolerable, but noticeable under close scrutiny. These two issues keep this television from being a 5 star item.

I purchased a 19"; 26" and a 32" all within 10 days. The SAMSUNG quality and features are excellent. The only design problem with all 3 TV's is when you turn them on there is a very dim and small red light that flashes. You really can't see it. White or blue would solve this problem!
