It's so-so.......2007-12-21
For a mid range priced device it's not horrible. It has a very comfortable design with a car visor clip to cradle and charge your device anywhere. The connection process with your phone is a little complicated and will occasionally need a reset for some unexplained reason. But the sound has the potential to sound very good.
My biggest problem with this device is that if the phone is not in direct site of the ear piece, the quality of sound dramatically drops off. Even if the phone is in the pocket of your pants on the other side of your body from the device the quality drops off simply because your body is in the middle. The range estimate is solely based off of direct line of site where no bodies, walls, doors, cars or anything else are between the device and the phone.
Great reception, providing...........2007-12-12
I like this headset but will have to limit the usage to the car. It comes in clear and loud which is good. But this is only the case if it's on the seat next to me.
If I am out and about and it is on my left side forget about reception. Even in a jacket pocket on the ride side increases static by 25% easy.
If you want something for the car I would reccomend this. If you want an all around headset, pass.
Very Happy with Headset.......2007-12-06
I use this with a Cingular 3125. This is my first bluetooth headset, and so far it works great (2 months). I did have a problem where it stopped syncing with my phone. I called tech support and they were very helpful in resetting the unit. I was surprised at how quickly I reached a live person.
Best Bluetooth Ever!.......2007-11-26
This is the third time I've purchased this item, and it likely won't be the last. Sound quality, style and ease of use make it by far the best bluetooth hands-free device out there. The only reason I've had to buy 3 is that I broke one in the bottom of my briefcase and lost another one. Much better than the newer Jabra BT500...don't waste your time.
I Love Jabra BT250V.......2007-11-23
I use many kind of headset but Jabra is the best the voice very clear vibrating alert is important too.I advice every body to buy JABRA BT250V.

Very Reliable, with drawbacks.......2007-10-30
I owned the 250v for 3 years! and if the piece that held the eargel on hadn't broken I wouldn't be in the market for a new one. This unit is great, with some inconvenient drawbacks. First, turning this thing on and off is supposed to be a matter of holding the multi-function button for 5-10 sec. Good luck with that one....I never turned it off because I couldn't. Also there is a tiny blue strobe on this thing that let's you know its on. Yeah not a great feature when its stays lit constantly while it charges on my night stand. I can't speak for its standby or talk time because I charged it nightly and had a car charger for long trips, but I never ran out of juice either. Would I buy it again?....Yep, its too comfortable to pass up.
A Perfect Fit.......2007-09-10
I purchased this headset because I was having trouble hearing with the Motorola set I got with my phone. The headset was a snap to set-up, and it is extremely comfortable to wear. My old Motorola set had a tendency to flop around while the Jabra sits comfortably on my ear. Unlike the Motorola, the Jabra's speaker is designed to fit in the ear, which makes it much easier to hear. It comes with two sizes of ear gels, but even with the large gel, I have to lightly press it into my ear during a conversation in order to achieve optimum volume. It's range also seems to be a little limited, but all and all it's a marked improvement over the Motorola headset.
Not bad, but...........2007-08-07
I bought this for my wife a while ago and pairs with her samsung slider phone (can't remember the model number off of the top of my head) quite easily. I've had occassion to use it myself (when I have to use her phone) so I feel that I can confidently rate it.
Overall, it isn't too bad for a handsfree. There are times when I call her (even on a land line) and it sounds like she's digitally stuttering. In my opinion; not good. It's realatively light weight and you can wear it for a long period of time without alot of discomfort (she does wear it quite often during the day). The different ear pieces give you the ability to give a custom fit feel to it, which is nice. I've read in some of the other reviews for the bt250v (a similar model) that it has a tendency to fall off if you move your head too quickly; I can see why.
Truth be told, I almost purchased one of these for my own cell phone use (I own a Motorola v360) but I read the reviews for the Plantronics Voyager PLT 510. :) I'm glad I did - but that's another review.
Sturdy & Durable.......2007-07-16
The headset is light and fits the ear perfectly. Unfortunately, often people have a hard time hearing me. I can hear them perfectly. I am most impressed with its durability. I forgot it in a pants pocket. The pants went through a wash and dryer. The headset still works albeit with the same problems I mentioned above.
Great product.......2006-12-27
I like the BT250, because I can hear the conversations better than when I used the types that hang outside your ear. I have a little bit of hearing loss from shooting in the military, and I can hear well with the BT250. I would but the BT250V over the BT250, so you could get the vibration alert in th same package. That is the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5. Jabra makes a great product.

Ok, but not for me!.......2007-10-27
This headset was light and worked very well, it just didn't fit my ear well at all. The earpiece dangled straight down in front of my ear hole, and I could not bend it to fit. If I kept a finger pressing on the earpiece, it would go into and fit my ear hole pretty well, but then I might as well have been holding the phone itself against my ear!
I returned the headset for credit. I have not yet (10/27/07) received the credit for it.

If u can understand my title, then thats what to expect from this headset. When paired to my i860, it doesn't work no farther than 2 feet. About 5 feet on my Treo. The rubber earpiece doesn't really stay in the ear. constantly playing with it to hear. Hands Free? not so, it may free your hands from holding fone, but they will be needed to constantly adjust or hold this POS in ur ear.

do yourself a favour and buy something better.......2006-02-26
This is my first BT headset. I tried to read as many reviews as I could before buying a headset, and I liked the behind-the-ear design of this one, plus the Jabra name sounds good at the market, so I decided to buy one. It was easy to pair, but later on, it lost pairing a few times. I don't like the feel of the main button (on-off and call answer). It doesn't give any feedback to your finger. You can accidentally hit it when taking the headset on. This is important for me because I don't wear it at all times (only when talking).
Sound quality is good, I have to admit.
The main thing I hate is, once you have an incoming call and press the button, nothing happens for approx. 2 seconds. If you start accepting the call and telling your name, the caller will miss that. The headset will not tell you when the connection is made, you can only guess. I think there should be a beep played or something at the very beginning of the conversation, so as you know when to start talking. This is really annoying as it is now.
I also don't like that this headset is thick. It keeps your ear away from your head, which looks funny. Please, don't believe those reviews saying that you can even forget you're actually wearing it. It's simply not true.
The unit is not working in windy conditions. Your partner will not hear you and they will be begging you to go indoors immediately.
And the worst thing is only to come. My headset died in 6 months. It was never dropped or anything. The sound just became more and more distorted and my friends reported a crazy background noise (sg like if I was standing in the middle of a thunderstorm), which I couldn't hear in the headset. In a few days time it became worse and worse and at the end no understandable voice was coming through.
I will not even try to get a replacement. I was thinking about buying the bt500, but I read lots of bad reviews about that one also. I decided to get a Plantronics Discovery 640 instead.
Good when there is not any surrounding noise.......2005-12-14
This unit has good sound and supports enhanced features like voice dial and redial last number. The sound quality (in and out) are good when in a quiet environment, like driving or in an office. If walking outside on a nice day you will still create too much noise for the other party to hear you, which is also the case if there is a small breeze or it is windy. The range is less than advertised unless you are in direct sight of your phone or other Bluetooth device. For example, I get noise if the phone is in my right hip pocket and the Jabra headset is on my right ear. However, I do like the way it fits and the sound I receive is good. Overall I like it and do use it often. I do wish they used a univeral power supply so that I would not have to take theirs with my on my trips.
