Regarding this iPod wall charger...
--- I wondered why the same product kept coming up with different prices. Maybe because they want to hide poor reviews and keep starting fresh? The first time I plugged it into my iPod, for a few minutes the backlight of the iPod turned on, but not the text. Then the light went off and I was not able to get the iPod to respond again for two hours. It was dead. I made sure the lock switch was off, I tried to reset, I plugged it in using the Apple brand charger that has been working fine...but nothing worked. It was gone.
--- Perhaps it was a coincidence that, despite the iPod working fine for two years (including a couple of hours on a flight just yesterday), the first time I plugged it in to charge with this product, it died. However, it also seems possible that this product provided the wrong electrical supply to the iPod and fried it, at least temporarily. I don't feel like trying it on other iPods to test this theory, though.
--- I thought I was getting a good deal by buying this for 1 cent and paying $4.99 shipping and handling. Now I realize the ploy - there is no reason to return it for a $0.01 refund, and shipping is not refunded.
--- I urge people to avoid this product.

So the obvious plus to this charger is the price, I was hesitant to buy because I was curious about the quality of the charger and so I subsequently decided to buy two of them just in case, and so far, I'm completely satisfied with it. I'm glad I bought these over the $30 apple charger. My only complaint is that you have to push the plug pretty hard to ensure that it locks onto the Ipod.

I bought this last July for my iPod Nano; after reading some other reviews, I was hoping to get 3-4 months out of it before I had to buy another. I am pleased to say, that after over 10 months of constant use, this charger has yet to stop working! Definitely recommended.

After hearing how many non-Apple accessories don't work well, I wasn't sure if I wanted to purchase this. But at the price of 1 penny (plus $5 shipping), I gave it a try. I had no problems using this with my 30 Gig iPod Video- just plug into the wall and let your iPod charge (you can even listen to music while it's charging).

I really shouldn't complain for the price, but this charger would be even better if the cord was a bit longer (it's about 3.5-4 feet long).

There really is not too much to tell. This product is a one-trick-pony, but it is very inexpensive and it works. I've recharged my 30G iPOD several times with this item and it works every time. You can also listen to your iPOD while recharging. From a totally drained battery it took less than 2 1/2 hours to recharge, and this was with the iPOD in use.

This is a low cost way to get around Apple's incredibe, ridiculous, shameless, asinine, no-excuse, utter CHEAPNESS in not providing a power cord that can be plugged into a wall socket. Without a product like this you have to plug your iPOD into your computer to charge it (the computer has to be on).

How cheap is Apple?? They didn't even provide a 5 cent CD with the programing. I had to go on their web site and download the program, which took an hour and a half because I have dial-up. Now that is CHEAP!!!!!!

I couldn't believe it myself. I had previously bought an adaptor made by Griffin, one which is constantly being advertized by all the department stores and sells for around $30-40...I got to use it exactly 5 times to charge my iPod and it completely conked out. I'm pretty much done with anything Griffin makes after that experience. As I was going on a road trip, I needed an adaptor and went with this cheaper model...well we're closing in on 6 months and it's still working, and I use it very frequently...in fact I use it more than charging it on my computer and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever, and even better I bought it much cheaper used here on Amazon. My only complaint which is minor is that unlike other comparable models, the light that displays when it is in use is always on when it is plugged in and also while charging your iPod and it never comes off to show when it is fully charged, you have to look at your iPod to see when it is done.
