Outlook Synch Users.......2007-08-31
Product worked reasonably well except when it came to synching with Outlook Contacts. Tricks (Things I learned the hard way) (1) You have to have at least a phone number for a contact or the program will stop and the phone will reboot. (2) You can not have letters in the phone number field of Outlook or more trouble.

Does NOT work for the LG VX5300.......2007-07-05
The product description states it will work with several phones including the LG VX5300. However, the cable does NOT fit the VX5300 phone and has a label on it that says it is for the VX8300/VX7000. The CD did not contain the driver for it. It points to various sites but none have the driver for the VX5300. The seller told me to return it for a refund but the shipping would cost me about what my refund would be. So I kept it. If you have a VX8300/VX7000, then it will probably work. If you have anything else, I don't think I would get it.

works with my LG-VX5300, found a free program called BITPIM that works as an interface for adding/removing pics, ringtones, contacts, whatever.

I have a UX245. As you can tell from the item name, this product should have been compatible with my phone. However, when installing the cd, you are asked to pick your phone from the list. My phone wasn't even on the list. Then I got a message saying it woulrd corrupt my computer if I continued to download. However--who wants to send it back for a refund when you lose shipping and the shipping was as much as the item!!!!!!!!

Does not load.......2007-09-16
I have tried to use this software on my VISTA system for Samsung SYNC SGH-A707 system and the driver does not load on my computer for the cable. I can use the real Samsung cable for VISTA along with the latest version of Samsung Sync software (software available for free from the Samsung website) to use VISTA with the phone with more capabilities then are actually listed for the phone from the Mobile Action website.
If I could rate this a ZERO I would.
HOW SOFTWARE WORKS ON THIS KIT.......2007-08-26
For all software dealing with cell phones, one needs to keep updated. This item is sold as is, and the customer must rely on www.mobileaction.com first for support and the features that WORK on their phone for the kit model number MA-730. Not all phones work with the software for everything, some do, some work for only one thing using the model kit from Mobile Action called "MA-730." Kit sold here is the MA0730 by Mobile Action, customers must go to their site and see support for the phone they have first. The MA-730 Bluetooth kit is the most univeral one around, but the cell phones themselves have limitations, not the kit. Mobile Action tells customers specifically what does and does not work for all models with this MA-730 kit.

Item includes basic, yet fully functional software called BitPim using our custom install CD. Technicaly support is provided by BitPim's help files and it's online support pages that also includes a helpful forum. We recomend to customers that need technical assistance or who simply do not like the included software to purchase software with support. If you're interested in putting personalized ringtones, pictures, etc. on your LG phone without the unecessarily expensive costs of downloading them, you should definitely buy this.
It fits almost every LG phone and connects to almost any computer. Installation is pretty simple, nothing to worry about, really.
Overall, it's definitely worth it to buy this, no doubt about that.

While the data cable is good; the included software doesn't work very easily or very well. If your interest is easy transfer of files, mp3's, and ringtones to your phone memory, then you will be disappointed.
While it does do the job, it takes more time that it should, and ultimately frustrated me to come up with another way to transfer files.
