I bought this for my iPod dock two months ago and it's been problem free from day one. It's not the cheapest out there, but still a good deal considering it's from a well known brand. What's nice is the cable is longer than what comes standard with an iPod, so I can put my dock on my speaker and still reach the power outlet directly below.

My first Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger was for a relatives iPod which impressed me with its simple design and speed of charging. The second unit was for my wife's iPod. The 120 volt plug flips out for charging and folds neatly back into the body when complete. The unit is well designed and sturdy and I cannot see how any plastic component could fail. Electronics has a mind of its own. At work, we recently purchased a $22,000 ultrasonic transducer from a well known European manufacture and it never worked. Purchase products with warranties from reputable sellers.

I purchased this charger as a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it and uses it nearly every week. Both she and I have a first generation iPod Nano (4GB), and the Griffin PowerBlock AC Charger has worked flawlessly for charging both of our Nanos. It charges the devices much faster than pluggin into the USB port on a computer. My wife doesn't often have her computer turned on more than 15 to 20 minutes at a time, so charging with a computer is not a good answer for her.
While it is true that Amazon does not really advertise this item properly, it is pretty obvious by the picture(s) and description that it is meant for iPods. If you wish to charge a Sansa or Creative MP3 player then you should look at purchasing a Griffin PowerBlock Universal. However, I haven't found it listed here on Amazon so you will likely have to purchase from another on-line merchant.
My wife and I are extremely happy with our Griffin PowerBlock and would highly recommend it to any iPod owner.

My 11 year old daughter saved her $$ and did some on line research and ended up buying these. She loved them for the size which allowed her to take them into bed, on the bus etc. The audio in my opinion was "OK", but she was very happy.
We had bought them along with their noise reducing ear buds which I use while traveling in planes. I can wear them x- country very comfortably
Unfortunately we had technical problems and contacted JBL. I happened to email them on a Sunday afternoon and in about 15 minutes a real person (Josh) responded. A real person.... on a Sunday!!
He resolved the issue- which ultimately required a warranty replacement.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and Josh. I woudl buy their products again without hesitation
What a disappointment........2007-05-26
On my first foray into looking for the perfect mini speaker for my Ipod, I bought the Aiptek Mist for Nano (not realizing it only works with Gen 2 Nano)---boy, was it a cute little thing. Disappointed they don't make that product for Gen 1 Nanos, I searched Amazon for the perfect replacement mini speaker that would work with my Nano Gen 1. The JLab Miniblaster had 4 stars. Folks, speak up, because I cannot be the only one who was shocked by the low quality of this product!!
*When I first plugged it in, you couldn't hear anything because of interference from my TV remote!
*When I finally heard sound it was fuzzy at best and never got much better
*The volume level is only a smidgen better than what I can hear through my earbuds when they are out of my ears!
I read and re-read the direction and am convinced I did everything properly. I even tried it with battery power only, in the house, out of the house. No luck. This is a lousy product and I am giving it one star. This is being shipped back today.

Works, but cycles charging and stopping.......2006-11-17
I purchased this charger as an additional one to keep in my bag for travels. It does work in that it charges the battery completely, comparable to the original one, but there is a flaw.
I usually charge the phone with it on so that I can receive calls at night too. When it's done charging, it stops, but then within a couple of seconds to about a minute, it starts charging again, presumably since in that time the battery's charge has dropped below the threshold. It then stops charging after a couple of seconds when that small amount is restored. Every time the charger starts and stops, the phone emits a soft beep, which gets annoying, since in the middle of the night, I'll hear a beep every couple of minutes. I have to get up and disconnect the phone.
I think the original charger has a different chip that keeps the charger from restarting once the battery is charged while it remains connected to the phone.
With all that said, I got the charger when the cost was one penny, and you really can't ask for much at that price. Like I said, it does serve its purpose in terms of charging the battery.

I ordered a charger for my LG VX6100. This seller advertised the charger as compatible with my phone. When the charger arrived, it came with an invoice that said it was only compatible with about half of the phones it was supposed to work with. It did not work with the VX6100, as clearly stated on the enclosed invoice, but contrary to the advertisement on the web site. The item only costs $4.50, so it does not pay to return it. Buyer BEWARE!!!!

This charger appears to be identical to the one that came with the phone new. I had to replace it because my puppy damaged it, not because it broke. It's called a travel charger, but it's the only one I use. I don't ask much of a charger--just do what it was designed for, without fuss. This one works just fine, the plug is lightweight enough not to fall out of the outlet, and it didn't cost much. What more would I want?

The only item that I had a problem with was the leather holster being too small so it ripped when I tried to put the phone in it. I immediately called the number provided in the shipment and after explaining the problem and giving the lady some information from the package the holster came in, it was determined that they sent me a holster of a smaller LG phone. She said not to worry about returning the one I received, and they shipped out the correct one to me. Actually, I would have been happy with the value I received for the price even without the leather holster, but am extremely happy that they made good on the incorrect item so easily.

Everything that was promised was delivered. Individually, it would have cost a fortune to buy separately. A few of the items were a little on the generic side, like the signal enhancer which is a small-shaped piece of metal that goes behind the battery and "catches" stray radiation. That's what it said on the package. And the phone caddy didn't have a lot of stickyness to it. However, the price alone that included the case, the ear/talk piece and car charger was a bargain by itself. Now this would be the Christmas gift to get that would make the person think you spent a ton of money. Good deal, great bargain!

Many of the accessories either didn't work with the LG 225, didn't work well, or broke shortly after we started to use them. I would not buy this accessory kit again.
Cell Phone Accessories.......2007-01-18
I received my items before Christmas, but the boom mic was not working. However, it was quickly replaced with no questions asked, which was quite refreshing. The boom mic works ok, although my friends say they can hear echoes when I use it. The cell phone case works fine and fit well, but I don't use the belt clip holster or the Car Vent holder. I am using the antenna booster, but I can't tell if it helps, but I know it does not hurt. Overall, a good product for the price, especially if you hate spending more money to dress up your phone, as I do! I have NO complaints about the company.

I did not use everything in this kit as the only thing that I tried was the cell phone case which was a disappointement.
I have to take the cover off the phone because the hole to charge the phone is not large enough to remove the charging cover from the cell phone. The hole for the speaker is not large enough as it covers the speaker which makes your voice sound muffled. You have to remove the cover from the phone to take the picture because the case partially covers the phone.

The only slightly valuable product is the phone cover and car charger. The phone holder looked used and broke before I even got it put in the car. I tried to go ahead and put it up in the car and the sticky pad provided is worhtless. Does not hold the empty phone holder, let alone with a phone in it. The hands free ear bud is so small and light it won't even stay in.

Most of the Accessories doesn't work for LG CU500. Car Charger, Car Mount Phone Holder doesn't work at ALL. Leather Case tore in next couple of days as it doesn't fit for LG CU500. About the other Accessories, I haven't started using them but i am sure that they are not gonna work like Car Charger. I asked for replacement but I hardly had any response from the seller. My sincere advice..........DON'T BUY & SPEND MONEY on this USELESS Accessories.
