This is my second earpiece and I can hear through this one like the phone is up to my ear. I have to turn the volume down, not because of distortion but because it can be too loud. Other people do not know I'm using it either. I think every earpiece gets some getting used to and this one is know different. Now I forget I am wearing it.
Cannot beat the boom open/close feature.........2007-12-21
I owned this for nearly a year till my toddler flushed it down the loo. Even though I loved it I decided I wanted a change and began my search for another headset. Needless to say after 3months of wire-less phone use I ended up again with the H700.
The main salient point is the open boom to answer the calls. I've never liked the press of the button. It also saves battery life as when i'm not using the phone I close the boom.
Its the only phone I found with this feature.
Great buy. I now have the blue one as I did get tired of the 'gold' color

I was looking for the good bluetooth headset - normal price and good quality. I already had the H700 Motorola and was please with its quality, but there were several issues that I don't like. First of all, it did not fit properly on my ear and the noise after several minutes of use was disturbing. So, when I decided to change the headset I did not look for Motorola H700. Fortunately, my husband gave me for a gift this one (Dolce & Gabbana H700 Bluetooth Headset). He was impressed with the reviews and decided to buy. I want to say that this is the best one that I have! I am not talking about the looking good from outside (however it can be important to someone too), this one has good time of working (I could wear it during the entire day and the battery is enough), the noise is acceptable and the last but not the least, it fits on my ear tightly. I would suggest this product. Good price for such quality.

Design
At .55 inches thick, the RAZR V3i is virtually the same thickness as the original RAZR. And like the original RAZR, the phone's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully-anodized aluminum construction. A large 176 x 220 color display with 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover. The outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can display caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. The 1.23-megapixel camera lens is housed above this display. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control.
Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. A mini-USB port is provided, which, while useful for fast data transfer, can also be used with compatible USB stereo headsets. Note that the phone does not have a standard 2.5mm headset jack.

Calling Features
The RAZR V3i's internal phone book can hold up to 1000 contacts while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone and more ringtones can be downloaded from T-Mobile's t-zones service. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. For times when you want to be discreet, there's a vibrating alert. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear while voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family, and associates as easy as saying their names. Speaker-independent technology allows any speaker to dial numbers with the voice dialing system. And because the V3i DG is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets can be configured with the phone for total handsfree operation.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
The RAZR V3i is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun (T-Mobile messaging charges apply). There's also a built-in web browser for t-zones downloads and mobile web browsing. T-Mobile's t-zones service lets you receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. If you need email on the go, the V3i DG comes with an email client that supports IMAP, POP3, and SMTP email standards. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users. When used with a T-Mobile data plan and the phone's Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the V3i DG including a calculator with currency converter, a calendar and an alarm clock. The phone can also be used with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools PC application to manage and synchronize contacts, calendar and other data with your PC.
Imaging and Entertainment

No problems with phone yet, but don't expect to be able to take a picture with a X8 magnification.
I have just purchased this phone.......2007-04-12
I purchased this phone because it is thin and two tone gold colored. It does not have all the features I like, to do list, spades and data package to get on real time web/email. It is definite a fashion statement. To get all the features I like I should have purchased the MDA. Well, my D&G fits nicely in my purse and it looks like something I would have. I wish they would improve on features. If this phone breaks or get lost, I will purchase another phone because sending text messages is hard. I like that you can send voicemail but then older phones do not have tht capability. I purchased a clear hard cover for it and a clear phone clip, so I do not hide the beauty of my new phone. I think it's more of a female phone but a little touch on fingernails, when removing the sim card, media card, when removing the back cover and battery. Removing the back cover and battery is tricky until you figure out the secret to it. I found using tweezer help with the removing of the sim card. I have not found anything on the media card. I also found to transfer music to device from Itune was tricky too but I got it now. I wish the music player accepted variety of music types. The t-zone is priced too high for ringtones and I found an application on cnet to help create my ringtone. I like the charm that dangles on my phone. Hope this help you because I thought the phone was more that what it is but then the beauty of it made me keep it.
Classy, but lacks something unique other than color.......2007-03-11
I bought this phone around a year ago. I was content with it because it was a gold razr and eye-catching. However, it is pretty much no different than a normal razr other than it can store more information. This is the third motorola razr that I have owned and there's nothing too different. If you want it becaus it attracts attention (which I don't suggest b/c it's old news) then go ahead. I still use mine because it makes a unique fashion statement to others.
