I received my cable in two days in perfect condition. Exact item for my SYNC phone (SGH-A707). Never tried the software because that is not what I was interested in. I went to Samsung website and got some software there, because the website printed on the disk is not available. Thanks for the good, accurate and speedy service.

The USB cable is working as I expected but the CD that comes with it doesn't have the drivers for SGH-A707. The price is A LOT cheaper than what you would get at the AT&T website even after adding shipping charges. I'm happy with it overall.

I bought this cable for a Samsung U520. It does not recognize the phone, I finally found and downloaded the driver for my phone, but it still does not list it in the software as stated in the ad. I find it useless to do anything with the data on my phone. Instead, I bought a 1 gb MicroSD card with a MicroSD card reader, and I can easily put music, pics and videos on the card and play them on my phone. The purchase of this cable was useless. The only thing it DOES do is charge the phone when plugged into the USB. That's why I gave it 1 star. Don't waste your money. If you're wanting it to put music on your phone, and your phone has the card slot, go with the card and the card reader. That is just too simple

Cable/software does not work.......2007-09-26

I bought this cable/software to transfer pictures from my C417. The software does not include my phone as stated in the description. I played with this for a while. Unlike the other review, I did not wait to see if the cable charged the phone. I am not happy. Maybe I missed something here or maybe I was not shipped the correct cable/software or maybe I just spent $10 for nothing!

Windows Does Not Recognize This Cable..........2007-08-31

When plugged into the USB port, a blue LED on the cable turns on. Unfortunately, Windows XP has no idea anything was plugged in--the system does not recognize this cable as new hardware. I tried it on 2 different PCs--nothing. The only reason this has even one star is that it does actually charge my Samsung T319 phone.
