Customer Reviews:
Great phone case.......2007-12-27
All the other cases I've tried normally fall apart after a few months but this one seems to be in for the long haul.
Great Razr2 Pouch.......2007-12-19
This is an excellent product, outstanding price. The phone fits in the pouch very well, is easy to get in and out. Compact and snug fit to your body. The reviews I read before I purchased did not seem to be so favorable, but I think this is an excellent product if you have the razr2 phone.
Good Leather Pouch for Razr.......2007-11-20
I purchased this from Amazon. This is a good leather pouch for Razr. The clip attahes firmly to the belt. It is pretty easy to take out the cell phone after a couple of practices. The only complain I have is the one I got is not exactly like what the picture shows.
Good overall.......2007-11-07
It appears to be a nice quality item from T-mobile. I wanted to point out that mine did not come with a Wrist Carrying Lanyard as described in the Product Features section.
Horizontal Razor phone belt clip.......2007-10-19
Overall really good item. It is made of real leather. Holds up to a LOT of use.

I Love Powerful Batteries Like This.......2007-09-27
The battery holds a charge and I got it at a much lower price than what I was quoted at my neighborhood TMobile shop. I'll be buying another one in a 1 1/2 years when this one stops holding a charge.
bad battery bad phone.......2007-01-26
ahhh I see your battery is dying. Be forewarned. I'm betting this doesn't fix the problem. I mean really how old is your phone? Not old enough yet to have made this battery tired. The Li-ion batteries usually last around 18 months (hence at 18mon a bunch of i-pod users are gonna get pissy when the i-pod doesn't work anymore and you can't change the battery.)
why hasn't yours lasted that long... oh because your phone sucks. you will be like me get a new battery and it will only last for 7 hr on standby at first and then drop down to 4 hr on standby.
Why? have you noticed yet how hot that phone is running? it is cooking its internal electronics, your ear, and the battery.
when you get a new phone - the new one will only have a 90day warranty. T-mobile will charge you for shipping. you will spend at least an hour with them on the phone.
aren't these costs adding up for you yet?

Design
Inside the t619's sleek clamshell you'll find a large, yet crisp and clear 176 x 220 color LCD display with support for over 262,000 colors. The outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary monochrome (white on black) LCD display that can display time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. Up and down buttons for volume control are placed on the left side, and camera controls are included on the right side of the phone, while most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's control pad. The phone includes 21 MB of internal memory, and because the t619 has an internal antenna, there's nothing to snag or break off.
Calling Features
The t619's phone book can handle up to 1,000 of your contacts, and you can store up to five numbers per entry, plus an e-mail address, and a note. In addition to having a discreet vibrating alert, the t619 supports both 40-chord polyphonic ringtones, which means you can really jazz up your incoming calls with cool tunes. Custom ringtones in MP3 format are also supported. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone, and more ringtones can be downloaded from T-Mobile's t-zones service. You can also assign ringer IDs and picture IDs to your favorite callers, while the voice dialing feature allows for quick, voice activated calling of pre-programmed contacts. Like all T-Mobile phones, the t619 supports voice mail, caller ID, conference calling, call forwarding, call waiting, call hold, built-in paging, and access to T-Mobile's 411 service.
This phone is fully compatible with T-Mobile's My Faves service, which allows you to call up to five of your most common contacts--on any network--without using any of your minutes. Learn more about My Faves. Additionally, the t619 is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing you to use a variety of headsets and hands-free kits for total wireless freedom when you're on the go.
Thin and stylish, with the features you need.

Messaging, Internet and Tools
When it comes to messaging and Internet connectivity, the t619 has you covered. The phone features support for Yahoo! and AOL instant messaging applications (T-Mobile messaging charges apply). There's also a built-in WAP 2.0 Web browser for t-zones downloads and mobile Web browsing. T-Mobile's t-zones service lets you receive and send e-mails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. Traditional text messaging, as well as picture and sound messaging, are also supported by the phone. T9 text entry, which is a predictive text entry technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.
A number of handy software tools are bundled with the t619, including a voice memo recorder that allows up to a minute of recording time per memo, a calculator with unit converter, a to-do list, a calendar, and an alarm clock.
Imaging and Entertainment
The t619 is easily customized to suit your style. Screen savers, themes, and wallpapers can be set to your tastes, and you can even browse and download more wallpapers from the t-zones service. The t619 is Java-enabled, meaning it supports games and application downloads written on the Java platform. Games are available via the T-Mobile t-zones service.
The t619 also sports a flight mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight.
As mentioned, the phone sports a powerful 1.3 megapixel camera. The camera also features support for video capture. You can capture and play back short video clips, and store as many videos as you like, as long as there is available memory.
Vital Statistics
The Samsung t619 weighs 2.80 ounces and measures 3.70 x 1.80 x 0.66 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 4 hours of digital talk time, and up to 8 days of digital standby time. It runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS frequencies. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.
Customer Reviews:
Great reliable phone........2007-10-17
For cell phones, these are my rating rules:
One star for features.
One star for durability.
One star for memory.
One star for compatibility with application downloads.
One star for overall performance.
This cell phone has a loaded list of features that are handy it's fairly easy to use. I love that it's lightweight and does the job for what I need, most of the time. Overall performance is good. I've had this phone since July '07 and so far I can count the number of dropped calls on only half of one hand. The phone itself has been dropped a number of times, without injury and it is used an awful lot. The number of address book entries one can create is way more than I'll ever need. The memory on it is decent enough for my needs.
While I may have a long list of improvements below, it is important to understand that I'm hard on giving any cell phones compliments. I've had dozens of different types and use them for several hours a day. When I say I'm pleased, even with such a list of needed features and fixes, that means something.
Overall, I'm very happy with my Samsung and probably the only real complaint I have is the inability to use Google's applications.
Star summary: Minus one star for features (the list below explains why), plus one for durability, plus one for memory, plus one (I would give it only half, due to the Gmail issue, but I can't so it gets a full star) and plus one for performance.
Seriously needed features and fixes:
* The ability to have it vibrate AND ring at the same time. As it stands it only vibrates then rings, which obviously doesn't work the way I wish. Many times it's in my pocket and when I'm in a loud spot (like a coffee house or whatever) it will ring and I do not hear it. If it would vibrate AND ring, then I'd know someone was calling. Other times it might be in another room, and if it vibrates first then rings, I don't manage to get to it until after the caller had heard 6-7 rings, and by the time I rush to get to it, it has gone to voice mail. I never remember to switch between the two, and quite frankly I shouldn't have to. Most phones offer vibrate AND ringing at the same time.
* Universal adapters of any kind. Samsung is notorious for limiting consumer choice in this department. You have to purchase special chargers, headsets, etc. for this phone because of the port it uses, and because it's not a standard jack.
* Better bluetooth support. I have two bluetooth sets; one is a Motorola and the other a Mustek. The Motorola will connect without an issue, but unfortunately the set is lousy so I don't use it. The Mustek works great, and works on my boyfriend's Samsung, but my model (this one and it's newer of all things) won't recognize it.
* Improved speaker phone. The speaker phone is basically not worth using. I cannot hear anyone talking on it, unless it is right next to me, despite the fact that the volume is turned all the way up. I do not have any hearing problems and I'm known for superior hearing. Perhaps there is a way to fix that, but if so I can't figure it out so that would mean it's not easy to use. In any case, it needs work.
* Picture messaging is problematic. I've tried sending pictures all kinds of ways. First off the 'My Journal' feature (a T-Mobile feature) doesn't ever work for me. It worked fine on the very first day I used it and then suddenly the second day it stopped. I tried for over a month and I've since stopped trying. In the same instance, I've tried emailing photos and usually only one of two or three will make it through email, and to top it off, often takes 2-3 days before it actually arrives in the email inbox.
* I'm a gmail user and I really would like to use Google's free mobile gmail application, but unfortunately it does not work on this phone. While I'm at it, none of Google's cool free mobile applications do, and that is a serious deficit in my opinion.
* Camera is constantly taking unintended pictures because the button is on the outside and cannot be protected.
* A better (and documented) way of paused dialing. There is such as thing as a soft pause and a hard pause. I prefer hard pauses most of the time because automated phone services are sometimes inconsistent in how long they take to answer each menu. As far as I could tell, pauses were not mentioned at all in the manual and I found out by mere accident that I could actually create a soft pause. I have to wonder if hard pauses are also available, but I have no way of actually knowing and I haven't yet figured it out... if I even can.
* The games and applications should automatically create menu numbers. The whole scroll, scroll, scroll to get to a game is an annoyance. All other menus throughout the phone have numbers so you can avoid the scrolling problem. Why the games and applications don't have menu numbers is a mystery.
* Text messages don't create clickable links. To be fair, this really isn't a feature for this type of phone anyway since this is a smart phone capability (which I steadfastly refuse to pay inflated prices for). It just seems like this should be a tiny thing that all phones could theoretically provide.
What I haven't tried:
* I cannot vouch for the mp3 player.
* The second video mode. In fact, I didn't even know about that until I came here to post my review.
Bottom line: It's a good buy and is a great little phone.
Gawd Awful.......2007-10-16
I bought this phone November 2006, and it has been a terrible experience. The phone seemed fantastic for the first 3 months, and then it started malfunctioning. This phone has the worst reception of all phones i've ever had. It has dropped almost every call I have ever had outgoing or incoming. Everytime I tried to send a text message it would always say Retry over and over and over and usually I would just give up. I got so frustrated that one of my friends gave me his old Tmobile phone, a 1997 Motorola with an antenna and no battery cover on the back, and I prefered that phone to this POS Samsung. I will never trust samsung phones again, particularly this brand.
capable, simple phone with a few problems.......2007-09-27
i've had this phone for a couple days and i am liking it, i don't much about cell phones though, i just like something i can us for texting and a few phone calls.
over all its a great little phone with all the basics, although it does have a cheaper feel to it, but i could just be used to the heavier razor. i like this phone, its easy to figure out.
but here are a few cons to this phone if you're considering:
-you can't rearrange the display menu. which is kind of bummer because you have to hit a few buttons to get anywhere, but its not horrible, just a couple clicks and you're there.
-the camera button is right on the side, so if your holding the phone and accidently hit it while texting or dialing its a bummer.
-the ringtones are crap. sorry. this the one thing that i have nothing good to say about. they suck. i hate buying ringtones because i think its silly, but i am going to because these ones suck/
-its really quiet. i can barely hear it ring. but thats okay for me because most of the time i am texting and not everyone wants to know when i get a message.
-the backlight stays on while charging, i don't know if that is changeable or not, but once its stops charging, but its still hooked into the charger, it stays bright, which in turn runs the battery down.
other than those little complaints, i have to say its a pretty simple, easy phone. i would suggest it for someone who needs something easy, a first time cell phone user, or just someone who doesn't want to deal with all those extra buttons and features.
T-Mobile Samsung t619 Phone.......2007-05-24
This phone was free with the "My Favs" plan. The phone is OK. Not great, not super duper, just OK. It is a tiny phone that weighs next to nothing and has a rather cheap feel to it. The camera button is pushed everytime I pick-up the phone because it is very flimsy and practically pushes itself.
You have to jump through way too many hoops to get this phone setup the way you want it. The ringtones provided with the phone really suck, as do the Fav icons. But not to worry, T-Mobile sells ringtones and Fav icons, which is why they give you the crappy ones. Thanks, T-Mobile!!!
I really like the My Favs plan, but if I had it to do over again, I would spend some money to get a decent phone along with the plan.
Can you figure out why the phone was free??? Gosh, Batman, you're so-oooo smart!
Pretty good, for awhile.......2007-01-03
I liked the key pad, the t9 messaging functionality, and generally the layout of the keys and buttons (the navigation arrows are a little small so I have to use my thumbnail instead of thumb). The pictures are good, but a little softer than better (more expensive) cam phones. The customization is kind of weird--I'm stuck with a ping background in phonebook that I can't get rid of (not bad if I were a 13 year old girl, of course), and the "rainbow" option for text only works for direct dialing, which I virtually NEVER do. But the worst thing was that after having it for less than 10 days, it got a "burned out" section in the bottom left hand portion of the screen. It affects all the screens, covering roughly the bottom 1/9th of the screen, and is only about half as bright as the rest of the screen. I liked it, but have to return it. Bottom line is that if they're discounting it so deeply they're giving it away, there's always a reason (usually cheapness in the mix somewhere)--there's no such thing as a free lunch, so I'm returning it for a better phone. Probably the 6133, but we had problems with that also (supposedly because of an older, 32Kb SIM card, but I'm dubious) and had replaced.

no instructions, no customer service, useless product.......2007-12-06
I have a SGH-A717, a phone present in their list, unless you already know everything this product is useless, the driver from their web page doesn't work, the posted info is so limited to be useless too
The discription is correct........2007-08-24
I received my cable in two days in perfect condition. Exact item for my SYNC phone (SGH-A707). Never tried the software because that is not what I was interested in. I went to Samsung website and got some software there, because the website printed on the disk is not available. Thanks for the good, accurate and speedy service.
Software not compatible for SGH-A707.......2007-08-09
The USB cable is working as I expected but the CD that comes with it doesn't have the drivers for SGH-A707. The price is A LOT cheaper than what you would get at the AT&T website even after adding shipping charges. I'm happy with it overall.
