A 2-megapixel camera makes spontaneous moments last forever.

Stylish, with plenty of inspiration from the RAZR.

Thin and compact, the KRZR is the next hot phone from Motorola.
Design
Reflecting the design language of the super-slim RAZR line of handsets, the KRZR K1 exudes pure luxury with clean lines, precision detailing, and premium materials shrouded within a distinctive metallic gloss front finish. A 1.9-inch color screen on the inside of the flip brings images and videos to life, while a small supplementary color display on the outside cover keeps tabs on your incoming call information, and more. The 2.0-megapixel camera is housed above this display. The KRZR K1 features an internal antenna, so there's nothing to snag or break off, and a MicroSD slot adds ample storage space to store content. Lastly, a mini USB port is provided for data synchronization.

Calling Features
From L.A. to Lisbon, the KRZR K1 connects you effortlessly with friends, family, and your favorite content, thanks to support for all four GSM bands (850, 900, 1800, and 1900). The phone supports speaker independent voice activated dialing, as well as Bluetooth wireless headsets, so you can cut the wires and talk hands-free. A number of ringtones come preloaded on the phone, and more ringtones can be downloaded from AT&T Wireless' MEdia Net service. Polyphonic ringtones are also supported, and there's a speakerphone for those times when you want to talk while doing other things. Picture and ringer IDs allow you to set photos and ringtones to identify incoming callers.

Messaging, Internet and Tools
The KRZR K1 supports all the messaging tools you need, such as MMS, SMS, EMS, and IM messaging capabilities. Plus, EDGE data support means you can surf the wireless Web on the built-in Web browser. There's even a built-in email client so you're always in touch. You can also use the KRZR to hop on AT&T's MEdia Net service, a service which lets you read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. And don't forget, with AT&T data service and a data plan (not included) and its Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.

The phone ships with a number of handy tools including an alarm clock, a calculator, a calendar, and a voice recorder. It supports the Sync ML data synchronization standard over Bluetooth or USB.

Imaging and Entertainment
The ultimate all-in one device for extraordinary imaging, the KRZR K1 lets you capture your latest jaunt to Cape Town with its 2.0-megapixel camera that features an 8x zoom, and video capture and playback capabilities. Take your travel soundtracks with you while jetting across the globe with the conveniently integrated MP3 player, airplane mode, and Stereo Bluetooth headset support. The removable MicroSD card slot supports cards up to 2 GB, so there's always room for all your favorite music files.

Support for Java-based gaming is built into the phone, and games are available for download via the AT&T MEdia Net service.

Vital Statistics
The Motorola KRZR K1 measures 4 x 1.65 x .6 inches and weighs 3.6 ounces. It operates on the GSM 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies. Battery life is rated at 5.83 hours of digital talk time and 300 hours of standby time. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.

This phone is only worth buying if you are getting a deal on it for signing up. I upgraded to this from my razr a while ago and am not impressed... These are the drawbacks I've encountered:
1- You spend more time cleaning the damn mirror finish than you do talking on it
2- No headphones come with it... I paid two hundred dollars. No headphones.
3- No micro SD card either, this really upset me since this costs less than the headphones and still it isn't included.
4- Text messaging is SOOOOOOOOOO slow.... Forget using predictive text, as it lags two to three incoherent words behind. This may be solved in a software update, but none have come out since I got it.
5- The camera is 2 GP but when I take a picture I watch it change from focused to blurry just before it prompts to save! WTF?!! You have to sharpen EVERYTHING!
6- Web browsing, I think not. The mobile browser is far too slow and too compact to view anything. Half the time email will not open.
The list goes on. In the end it's an average phone that might play music. Very flashy, little substance.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed by Motorola...again.......2007-12-10

I bought a brand new Motorola C600 back in the day. After about a year, it became very difficult to hear callers as they spoke and as time progressed, it just got worse. After having the phone for two years, I went against my better judgment and bought another Motorola phone--the KRZR.

I loved the compactness, the V-Cast features (which turned out not to be worth it--talk about slow web surfing!!), and the deep red color of the model I chose. However, now, again after one year, the phone is LOSING ITS ABILITY TO AUDIBLY RING. It sometimes rings aloud but most often I have to keep it in my HAND so I can feel the vibration if someone calls. Why don't I keep it in my pocket? Because the vibration is SO WEAK, you miss it. Even when it was fully functional, the phone vibrates so weakly, you can't feel it in your pocket. I'd strongly recommend skipping this phone.

5 out of 5 stars Motorola KRZR.......2007-11-27

I purchased my Motorola KRZR about a month ago to replace my Motorola RAZR. My observations on the KRZR are:

1) Very attractive shiny blue finish. Downside is that it is very easy to get fingerprints on it.
2) The KRZR is just as thin as the RAZR but is not as wide, thus making this an even smaller phone. It's up to you to decide if this is too small for you, but I like it!
3) The reception is much better than other phones, i.e., LG, Sony-Ericsson, etc., that I have had in the past.
4) Due to the 2 megapixel camera, the picture quality is excellent. Even though camera phones have small picture screens, I can see excellent detail in my pictures.
5) The sound quality is very good. I can listen to music through the regular speaker on the phone and it still sounds good.
6) The KRZR takes an optional MicroSD memory card. I have a 2GB memory card in my phone with over 200 songs on it and the memory card is less than half full.
7) With the bluetooth technology, you can listen to your stored music with wireless headphones.
8) The battery life is outstanding. From a full charge, the battery will last me a whole week before it dies. That being said, I'm not a heavy cell phone user...only about 350 minutes a month. Still, a whole week on standby, never turning off the phone, is great!

Bottom line: Excellent phone overall!

5 out of 5 stars The best ever had.......2007-11-25

I bought the phone about 3 months ago and just love it. It has so many more options then any of my other cell phones I have had in the past. The camera portion of it has so many different options. Like if you want black and white, antique, bluish or even negative, you can have it. Also you can adjust the lighting conditions. The only down fall about this phone is that it takes a while to get used to and also how to get around. I am still finding new items with this phone, that I didn't even know were on it.

I wouldn't recommend this phone for a guy though, due to its sleek girlie look.

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Good cellphone!!!.......2007-12-20

I've had the Razor V3xx for about two weeks now. Now I'm a techie, but just because I'm a techie, not all of my toys have to be the "new hardware/software." I didn't buy into the Razor fad when it first came out. I've always been a Nokia fan. Plus I've had the Sony Ericsson w300i. I didn't care too much for Motorola. My mom has a Motorola, but it's a different style. So far her's works great. She's not technically inclined, but she gets by.
Now I don't need my cellphone to be a music player because I have the discontinued 30GB iPod (which I've dropped like three times on concrete and still plays!!!) I don't need to surf the web on it because I value screen size and besides I don't want to pay the extra money to surf the web when I have a laptop. I mainly use it just as a cellphone, but I like style.
I have some friends and coworkers who have the Razor (some have the V3xx and others have prior versions). I asked them about how's the reception, can they hear clearly when people are talking, can people they're talking to hear them clearly, and battery life. I've been on edge because of the prior slim designs, but this is a bit heavier. It feels durable and feels good. I've debated between this one and two Nokia versions (with AT&T, the 6555 and the upgraded version of the 6102).
So far I've been happy with the reception, volume, and battery life. I use it daily and near traffic. In all places, inside a store, next to the road with heavy traffic, inside a noisy bus and have been happy with the way it works. I heard them clearly and they heard me. I haven't had to say, "What was that?" yet.
If you value, programs/software on a cellphone, this is probably not what you're looking for (go for Nokia, as far as I know). If you want a cellphone and have it to be stylish, then yes this cellphone is for you. It's better than previous version of the Razor.
BTW, I wouldn't choose the iPhone. Don't go with the flow!!

3 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware...........2007-10-11

So i got this phone for my sister as a replacement for her previous phone which was an old V3. I do love the styling of this phone and it has a very sturdy feel when compared to other phones in its price range. The flip opens very fluidly and I love the casing. However, thats where everything ends. I mean motorola has this beautiful screen and uses the UGLIEST interface I've ever seen.
Honestly, if you were one of those people who bought into the Razr fad and seem to continue to buy more just out of habit, i really recommend going to your local AT&T first.
In the cell phone market and I'm talking internationally. There are two leaders in terms of quality and design and those are Nokia and Sony Ericsson (SE). You might look at their phones and think that they have a cheaper feel to them or just seem to simple. But its not the outsides that set them apart. Its the insides. What I've always hated about motorola is that it seems like while they update the hardware from time to time, they still use the SAME useless unintuitive software they came out with like 5 years ago. I have been a loyal consumer of SE and if you take a phone from 5 years ago and compare it to one out now, you will notice more fluidity in the menus, faster shortcuts, a more intuitive system. The same goes with nokia, which used to have a simple interface but now has buffed up there menu system to compete aesthetically. I really recommend trying both phones and seeing how quickly there menus work compared to Motorola. I've lived outside of the country for 3 years and SE and Nokia always lead the market. Samsung solely relies on making their phones thinner then everyone elses and motorola is just banking on this "High fashion" razr/krzr/slvr styling. Yet I see them as the dominant phones in the US market! CHECK OUT SE and NOKIA before settling on simple style. Once you make the switch to either, you wont want to go back.

4 out of 5 stars nice phone indeed.......2007-09-21

This is a nice phone. I upgraded from an old Nokia and like this one more. I was trying to locate the sensor mentioned in the other review but can't find it, even with the help of manual. The only red dot is the camera :)
Reception is good for now (a month of use) and I think the battery life is good as well. Ring tones and arrangement of features are easily changed to your own liking. Camera if just fine with 8x zoom but the pictures look good only with using no zoom at all. But what else would one expect from an 1.3 mp mobile camera? Love the styling though, flat and wide, and I personally love this color.

1 out of 5 stars Neat phone, typical poor Motorola quality and service.......2007-09-14

The phone is neat and comes with a lot of great features, but buyer beware-the warranty is basically non-existant. We had a problem with the keyboard and called for warranty service and they said that the warranty is invalid if there is any water damage. We explained that there was no water damage, it just stopped working. They asked us to check a "dot" sensor on the phone. If the dot is red, the warranty is invalid. We asked how the dot could be red when the phone (2 months old) never got wet, and their rep told us that rain, sweat or being exposed to humidity or condensation! An unscientific survy of razr uses at a soccer game found 4 of 5 with the dot turned red-and hense no warranty.

So bottom line is, it is a good phone, as long as you don't sweat or live in a location where it rains or gets humid.

There are much more reliable options out there.

3 out of 5 stars What happened Motorola?.......2007-09-12

Picked up this phone when it was time to upgrade from my first Razr. What a disappointment! It's heavier and chunkier than my nice, slim, lightweight one. It has a recurring problem with an echo that my carrier assures me is 'my phone not their equipment' and the battery life is poor, even though I almost exclusively use it just as a phone and don't use the camera/video/MP3 features at all. I should have kept using my old phone! I was very disappointed in the product and it may result in not purchasing a Motorola again. I wouldn't recommend it if you're accustomed to the old Razr and are expecting similar quality. On the the plus size it is durable, easier to find(due to it's increased size) and if I were planning on using the MP3 capabilities would be fine. The wallpaper etc that come with it were disappointing as were the ring tones, but this is easily changed. I wouldn't buy another one, but it may meet your requirements if they're different than mine.

Motorola RAZR V3xx Phone (AT&T)

Amazon.com Product Description

Featuring the perfect blend of broadband-like speed, dynamic multimedia capabilities, and cutting-edge design, the MOTO RAZR V3xx is the first Motorola handset to ship with High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and EDGE technology. The iconic RAZR design is still here, as is the all-metal construction, this time, though, the phone boasts an updated and streamlined design, enhanced media capabilities, a 1.30-megapixel camera, a hot-swappable MicroSD memory card slot, and more. Simply put, the V3xx is the perfect combination of performance and style, and the perfect complement to Cingular service.

Cingular, Motorola, and HSDPA high-speed data: the perfect combination.
Design
At .58 inches thick, the RAZR V3xx is virtually the same thickness as the original RAZR. And like the original RAZR, the phone's design takes the standard clamshell form factor to the next level with an impressive, fully-anodized aluminum construction, and 60 MB of internal memory. A large 240 x 320 color display with over 262,000 colors dominates the inside of the top cover, while the outside cover of the handset sports a supplementary 96 x 80 full-color display that can display caller ID pictures, time, call information, battery and signal strength, and more. The integrated VGA and 1.30-megapixel digital camera is housed above this display. Use the VGA camera for live two-way video calls at up to 15 frames per second. Up/down buttons are placed on the left side for volume control, as well as the camera button and mini-USB port.

Most of the phone's features and on-screen menus are controlled by a five-way center button on the handset's backlit control pad, which is precision cut from a single sheet of nickel-plated copper alloy. A mini-USB port is provided, which, while useful for fast data transfer, can also be used with compatible USB stereo headsets. Note that the phone does not have a standard 2.5mm headset jack. Lastly, a charging port is placed on the bottom of the phone, and an unobtrusive internal antenna is safely tucked away, keeping the phone's design compact and portable.

Calling Features
The RAZR V3xx's internal phone book can hold up to 1000 contacts while the phone's picture ID system allows you to assign pictures to your most common callers. The phone also supports polyphonic ringtones as well as MP3 ringers, allowing you to use portions of your favorite songs to alert you to incoming calls. For times when you want to be discreet, there's a vibrating alert. A built-in speakerphone makes it easy to talk without having the phone to your ear while voice activated dialing makes calling your friends, family and associates as easy as saying their names. Speaker-independent technology allows any speaker to dial numbers with the voice dialing system. And because the RAZR V3xx is Bluetooth enabled, wireless headsets for calling, and even wireless stereo headsets for music can be configured with the phone for total handsfree operation.

Messaging, Internet, and Tools
The RAZR V3xx is a messaging and wireless Internet powerhouse. With HSDPA and EDGE technology, the RAZR V3xx delivers broadband-like speeds for downloading, Web browsing, and data exchange. Leveraging these advanced capabilities, the RAZR V3xx allows for live two-way video calls at up to 15 frames per second, over the air music and video downloads, direct media streaming, and more.

Support is built in for sending and receiving pictures, text, graphics, sound and video via messages. When used in combination with the phone's built-in still and video camera, MMS opens up a whole new world of messaging fun. And because UMTS and HSDPA support built right into the phone, you'll be streaming and downloading at speeds so fast your head will spin. Used in combination with one of Cingular's MEdia Max plans that supports Cingular Video (additional Cingular charges apply), the V3xx will allow you to play high-quality news clips, sports clips, weather clips, and more--right on your phone. And with Cingular's exclusive partnership with HBO Mobile and HBO Family Mobile, you'll never be at a loss for something good to watch.

There's also a built-in web browser for MEdia Net downloads and mobile web browsing. Cingular's MEdia Net service lets you do more than just stream videos--it lets you receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

Getting on the Internet is easy with the V3xx. When used with a Cingular data plan and the phone's Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.

A number of handy software tools are bundled with the V3xx including a calculator with currency converter, a calendar and an alarm clock. The phone can also be used with Motorola's Mobile Phone Tools PC application to manage and synchronize contacts, calendar and other data with your PC. The phone also sports an airplane mode feature, which allows the user to safely use the non-wireless functions of a phone (such as music, games, or organizer functions) on an airplane during flight.

Imaging and Entertainment
The RAZR V3xx's integrated 1.3-megapixel camera and VGA video camera bridges the gap between phones and quality digital cameras. Animated screensavers and full screen wallpapers are supported too, so you can set up the RAZR V3xx to suit your tastes. Lastly, the phone supports java-based games and applications.

The RAZR V3xx is a serious music phone. When the feeling strikes you, jam out to your favorite music on the unit's advanced MP3 player. The phone sports a microSD/TransFlash memory card slot, so you can load up all your favorite music and bring it with you (memory cards sold separately). And because the phone supports MobiTV and MobiRadio, in addition to streaming video and TV, you can listen to your favorite radio station via the supported digital radio service--great for times when you feel like listening to new music (additional Cingular charges apply).

UMTS Wireless Broadband Coverage

Warning: If you want to enjoy the full audio and video capabilities of your UMTS phone, please select a MEdia Max service plan option during checkout. If you do not sign up for a MEdia Max service plan option, you will be paying per KB when you use the over-the-air UMTS audio and video features on your phone (upwards of $10 per minute).

Vital Statistics
The Motorola RAZR V3xx weighs 3.63 ounces and measures 4.05 x 2.08 x 0.58 inches. Its lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3.17 hours of digital talk time, and up to 330 hours of digital standby time. It features UMTS with HSDPA capability, and runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM/GPRS/EDGE and 850/1900 WCDMA frequencies. The phone comes with a one year limited warranty.

2 out of 5 stars Not quite what I hoped for.......2007-10-04

I have changed to GSM and selected the V3xx phone as the Motoroal V60 was the best phone I have ever owned. The Razr V3xx has some short commings that anyone considering it should know about. First of all you have to have the phone really centered on your ear to hear it at its best 1/4 inch makes a difference. The front screen is too small to read incoming call numbers, so it is useless for caller ID. Both inside and external screens are hard to read in bright sunlight. The srceens are great in reduced light or indoors. The start call(green) and end call(red) buttons are right next to buttons that start the AT&T browser or CV both of which will cost you if you press one by mistake and cancel as quickly as posible, you learn to look at the buttons you are pressing, not a good idea if you are driving. I have not been able to find a good blue tooth device to use while driving. I have purchased two units with built in speakers and three ear piece devices. The best is the Motorola H700 (I bought it from Amazon to avoid fake look alikes and the $99.00 asked by AT&T). The H700 is scratchy but usable in a car. The quality and volume of the blue tooth on any of the devices I have tried is about equal to the built in speaker. The last issue with the phone is battery life, if I am lucky I get two days charge on a battery. I probably place or receive four to five short calls a day. Sometimes I run out of battery on the second day, so now I just plug the phone in each night. My old phones Nokias, Motorolas, and Panasonics (all digital not GSM) lasted between one or two weeks on a charge. I guess I'll have to adjust to the new technology!

1 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE FROM AMAZON (or any other phone).......2007-09-19

My boyfriend bought this phone for me from Amazon and it was the worst idea ever! First, when I got the phone it couldn't be activated due to technical problems (due to Amazon, not AT&T). I called Amazon for assistance, and they forwarded me to their cell phone department who said 1) they didn't know what the problem was, 2) there was no one else that I could speak to, and 3) they would email (NOT call) me back. Amazon gave me the run-around for over two weeks. Finally, i took the phone into an AT&T store. They informed me that is was most definitely a REFURBISHED phone. They also told me the reason there were so many problems activating the number is because the phone number BELONGED TO SOMEONE ELSE! I called Amazon to discuss the fact they had sent me a refurbished phone when I had bought a NEW phone, and they did not have an answer. The very nice customer service representative said that he would have someone email me back (because the cell phone specialty department did NOT make any calls). It's been two weeks and I still do not have an explanation as to why I was sent a refurbished phone or why I was assigned a number which was already assigned to someone else.

DO NOT buy phones from Amazon. Although you pay less for the phone, it's not worth it!!! Just go it the store and deal directly with the cell phone company.

1 out of 5 stars Poor quality, pooer service.......2007-09-14

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great phone case.......2007-12-27

All the other cases I've tried normally fall apart after a few months but this one seems to be in for the long haul.

5 out of 5 stars Great Razr2 Pouch.......2007-12-19

This is an excellent product, outstanding price. The phone fits in the pouch very well, is easy to get in and out. Compact and snug fit to your body. The reviews I read before I purchased did not seem to be so favorable, but I think this is an excellent product if you have the razr2 phone.

4 out of 5 stars Good Leather Pouch for Razr.......2007-11-20

I purchased this from Amazon. This is a good leather pouch for Razr. The clip attahes firmly to the belt. It is pretty easy to take out the cell phone after a couple of practices. The only complain I have is the one I got is not exactly like what the picture shows.

4 out of 5 stars Good overall.......2007-11-07

It appears to be a nice quality item from T-mobile. I wanted to point out that mine did not come with a Wrist Carrying Lanyard as described in the Product Features section.

4 out of 5 stars Horizontal Razor phone belt clip.......2007-10-19

Overall really good item. It is made of real leather. Holds up to a LOT of use.

Motorola RAZR V3xx Pink Phone (AT&T)

    Amazon.com Product Description

Featuring the perfect blend of broadband-like speed, dynamic multimedia capabilities, and cutting-edge design, the MOTO RAZR V3xx is the first Motorola handset to ship with High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) and EDGE technology. The iconic RAZR design is still here, as is the all-metal construction, this time, though, the phone boasts an updated and streamlined design, enhanced media capabilities, a 1.30-megapixel camera, a hot-swappable MicroSD memory card slot, and more. Simply put, the V3xx is the perfect combination of performance and style, and the perfect complement to AT&T service.

    Design

The streamlined looks and cutting edge technology of the RAZR V3xx is now available in an eye-catching shade of pink.

Used in combination with one of AT&T's MEdia Max plans that supports AT&T Video (additional AT&T charges apply), the V3xx will allow you to play high-quality news clips, sports clips, weather clips, and more--right on your phone. And with AT&T's exclusive partnership with HBO Mobile and HBO Family Mobile, you'll never be at a loss for something good to watch.

There's also a built-in web browser for MEdia Net downloads and mobile web browsing. AT&T's MEdia Net service lets you do more than just stream videos--it lets you receive and send emails, read news headlines, get weather updates, download games and ringtones, and more. iTap text entry, which is a technology that makes it easier for people to enter words and text on handsets, is built into the unit--a plus for mobile email and text messaging users.

Getting on the Internet is easy with the V3xx. When used with a AT&T data plan and the phone's Bluetooth or USB data capability, the phone can be used as a wireless modem for laptops and PDAs.

And because the phone supports MobiTV and MobiRadio, in addition to streaming video and TV, you can listen to your favorite radio station via the supported digital radio service--great for times when you feel like listening to new music (additional AT&T charges apply).

    4 out of 5 stars at least it's pretty..........2007-07-04

The Man(tm) and i renewed our contract with pacbell/cingular/cingularatt/cingular/att just recently. i've been hankering for a new cell phone (since i lost my previous one and was using one my friend gave me, which was older than Methuselah) and was willing to shell out the coins for this gorgeous gold razr. and lucky me, unless you live in compton and have a deft desire to either be shot to death for carrying something so pimpalicious or is one yourself, i'm probably one of the only few non-ghettolistas who will be carrying this beauty for the next two years. well, okay, so perhaps a few wanna-bes will want to carry it too... probably one of those useless dolts living in the thick of orange county - you know, driving enormous SVUs (still), going to their get their nails done every thursday between matilda's ballet practice and mason's taekwondo training, getting "homemade" dinner from whole-food's prepared meal section, wearing tons of juicy couture as if it's really... couture... - yeah, well, they might carry these too in due time. but not only as an official resident but also the honorary empress in the land of poonty-crack between LA and OC, i will probably be one of the first one to carry this. and i must say, after all that unnecessary rambling, that it's a sweet piece of... stuff. it looks pretty. it matches my new highlights.

this is the first that that both The Man(tm) and i do not have the exact same phone either. (we've got the family plan thingie.) i paid $99 for my gold razr. he paid nada for his samsung sync. (they just received it only 2 weeks ago at our local best buy!) and he got the last red one too.

if you're into the pretty thing and reallllly want this phone, go for it. it's tight. makes you feel all pimpalicious and wanna say that you're on first name basis with the boys from miami ink. whatev. and in comparison to the sync, it's definitely sleeker looking and... well, it's gold, for crying out loud!!!

but that sync's got some vibe. mine has 1.3 megapix - whoopdee doo... until you see his sync, which has 2. the memory card? mine only takes up to 1 gig - his can take up to 2. sound quality? his kicks major horchata. so... er... mine is pretty!!!

if i can somehow merge the fabulousness of the gold razr with the inner beauty of the sync, i think it'd be a perfect phone. however, isn't that like that one GE advertisement? i have to wait until beauty and brains merge one day...

point being? if you like pretty but less than substantial offering, go for the razr. if you want supergizmo that has a tip-calculator (!!! how effin' important is THAT?!!??! i used that function in my last LG like crazy!!) and the world currency converter... don't get the razr. you know which one i'm talkin' about if you want all that technogeeko goodness.

4 out of 5 stars Like the razr.......2007-05-14

Not sure that I like the fact that it's slighlty larger than my old razr, but the upgrades are worth it. The 3G is definitely a faster connection than the old Edge (I use my phone as a data connect for my laptop). Although I haven't actually needed to store anything to the SD card, I like that I have that option, which my old razr did not. I like the razr overall, and decided to get another one instead of some of the other 3G options, and that was my main reason for the phone upgrade in the first place, because I like that I can slide it into my back pocket easily and it doesn't totally stand out.

    5 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!.......2007-05-10

I love this phone! It's one of the best phones I have ever owned and I would suggest it to anyone! I've been with every phone company and Cingular is my favorite. This phone, because of being G3, gets reception anywhere!

I've had this phone about a month now, and it's the best phone I've ever owned. I am able to get full reception in places where I used to have to go outside to get a signal at all. I just downloaded some graphics and tones with a data cable for the first time today, and all was great once I figured out that you had to change the connection from memory card (came set that way) to data cable. I haven't installed a memory card yet, but that's next on my list. The graphics on the wallpapers are really sharp.

I bought a grey V3xx for my boyfriend and had to exchange it because it kept shutting off (the battery seemed not to fit tightly), but the new one hasn't skipped a beat and he loves his, too.

The voice recognition feature is fairly good, but the biggest thing for us is the improvement over our old V3's in the reception quality.

    5 out of 5 stars hmmm-upgrades!.......2007-04-05

I owned the original v3. It was fine but no video camera. I dropped it, got a newer version. It was even better. Now I have the V3xx. It is by far the best phone i have owned. The new 3G technology is great. The ease of use and the connectivity speed is awesome.

The only problem I have encountered. I cannot use the old batteries from my V3i. The same phone charger can be used on this phone.

I transfered pics taken from an old phone the nokia 3200, they look better on the V3xx. Memory capacity is greatly increased, the phone uses a micro sd card. Of course it is also an mp3 player. If you do not plan to use the new technolgy, just stick to your old phone. This is a great addition to the ATT family of products. And no I do not work for ATT, although I should.
