I ordered a D40x from this company two weeks before leaving on summer vacation. I received a message that the order shipped, but after a few days I got suspicious and called them, only to find that with only three days to go before my vacation started they hadn't got around to calling me, which is apparently a company prerequisite (so they can sell more? --I don't know for sure).

Do not purchase from 47th Street Photo. We ordered a digital frame well before Christmas, which NEVER SHIPPED. When we called to ask what happened, they just said they never got our order--even though we got an emailed confirmation saying they would ship within 24 hours! The woman on the phone was quite rude. Then had to fight the crowds at the mall anyway. Stay away!!

The carry case is a big uncool thing. You need to be a great manager to habdle the carry case. Hardly your SD card holds in it. No strap to hold the case. You need to use camera's strap. Not worth of the money spent. The design seems to be 50 years old. I am not happy with the product. Recommend no buy.

Small Compact Case .......2006-08-28
The case will hold the camera very snugly. It's true that there is not extra room for batteries/charger, but if you're just taking out your camera for the day, you don't want anything bulky. There are no straps to the bag, so I use the straps that came with the camera. Battery charger works fine.
Undersized case........2006-01-04
The battery charger and batteries are functional. The camera case, however, is practically useless. The camera barely fits in it, especially with the neck strap. There is no room for extra batteries and the case does not have its own neck strap, only a belt loop. Definitely a disappointment and not recommended for the Canon S2IS.
Powershot Accessory Kit.......2005-10-20
Camera case is much much smaller than I expected and unattractive but functional. No problems with the batteries or charger so far.

Not so good a deal.......2007-09-10
I returned the Telephoto lens because it did not give me any extra power than my Canon 1.5X Telephoto lens. The worst thing is that it is very bad at night. Moon close ups were very shady and unclear whereas I am used to taking crystal clear pics of the moon without the lens. The Wide-angle lens shows dark sides when zoomed till the end unfortunatley.
I kept the remaining of the set becaue I needed a cleaning kit and because their Macro lens is good.
Worth for the money.......2007-06-30
Wide angle and close up lenses are good enough for this type of camera. I liked a lot the macro lens that came with the telephoto lens. I'm still learning to use them properly, but I'm enjoying it so far. The only problem is to unscrew the lens from the adapter, it might get stuck.

I wanted to try out some lenses to try to expand the capabilities of my S3 camera and thought this might be a good deal. Well, I was wrong! The telephoto lenses was next to useless. The whole thing was cumbersome to use and I doubt if I'll ever use it.

The zoom lens was useless - too much chromatic aberration.
The wide angle lens didn't widen my scope by much but I liked being able to focus on things that were closer than what the S3 IS normally allowed. (In regular or normal macro modes).
The macro lens feature was reasonable but distortion and again - chromatic aberration were noticeable and thus a problem.
Don't buy.

Functional, Handy, Just Doesn't Fit.......2007-11-04
The tripod is sturdy and great, and has served me well. The case too, is well constructed, waterproof (to a degree, don't go diving with this thing) and holds all of my camera stuff.... except for the tripod it actually came with.
Get What You Pay For.......2007-06-29
The tripod: It's light. Works fine as long as you're on fairly level ground. If there's any wind make sure you've got your potato sack and some rocks handy. I've used it quite a bit and the leg extension locks are still tight. We'll see how long that lasts.
The case: It's small. If you've got a Canon EOS with a "kit" lens, you might be able to fit that and another lens in the case. If you've got a lens any larger then you won't. I have a Rebel XT with a Tamron 18-200 zoom/macro lens and I can't fit my 50mm f/1.8 in the case with it. For just carrying around one body and one lens, it's a fine case that protects the camera and lens very well. Plenty of (small) pockets will hold your lens and camera caps, a few memory cards, your charger and batteries and cables. With a lens hood in one side pocket and the camera's manual in the other, that about fills this thing up.
Overall, this is a decent package for the price. You'll probably want to move up pretty quickly though if you're any kind of serious about your photography.
