I bought this transformer for my girlfriend, who study in usa but I misunderstood what this product was supposed to do. anyway, looks excellent to use in europe with american electric devices. this is a 110 to 220V converter, to use in european countries (most of) and with american devices. my item was delivered a few days before estimated delivery day, well packed and in a very good shape, serious vendor and efficient product, the good combination.
Worked fine in Greece.......2007-07-02
We used this for recharging camera batteries and operating small electronic devices in Greece for two weeks with no problems. As mentioned in another review, it does get a bit warm, but we operated this all night every night without any problems. If you plan to use this to operate a digital alarm clock, you may want to test it first though. The one night we used this for an alarm clock the clock lost 80 minutes during the night, but I'm not sure if this was due to the clock, power supply, or the transformer.
Works, but not..........2007-05-13
We've been using this product for a week continuosly in Europe. It's small and it works, But, it seems to cut out every two hours or so. So you unplug it and plug it back in and presto, it's working again. Don't know if it was designed to do this or not. It's a bit of a pain but, for the price, a pain that may be worthwhile. I'm using it mostly to keep my Mac up and charge my ipod which it seems to be doing.

This is a great product for use in countries that uses 220 Volts. Particularly in the Philippines where I used it along with an 110 volt Multitap/Surge Protector. (Note: You can hook up multiple devices to this converter with a Multitap but make sure all the devices together does NOT exceed 200 Watts!)
I recommend this for Recharging Batteries, Laptops (Though many laptops already have built in Converters but you may want to invest in a Portable Surge Protector which is generally not 220 Volt Compatible), Playstation 1 & 2 (Never tried with PS3), and PSP.
The unit will get hot though so I also recommend you do not keep it plug in for over 24 hours just for safety reasons.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT FOR HAIR DRYERS, PCs (Like it shows on the box), AND OTHER PRODUCTS PASS 200 WATTS!!

Maximum capacity 200 Watts. This voltage converter can be used in 220-240 volt countries. It will convert from 220-240 volts to 110-120 volts. There is one output on the front of this unit to plug 110 Volts appliance. The plug adapter has universal female output.
